When a family member got severely ill. We prayed. Cried to The Lord. It felt hopeless. But we continued. And God out of His grace and mercy restored our loved one’s health. It was not instant. But definitely God did it.it was beyond human power at that stage. I thank The Lord God.

He healed me! I didn't want to lose my tooth. I had already been through so much before I gave my life to Him like I should've, and I had a bad dentist. She wouldn't give me antbiotics, and told me the infection would get worse. Well I prayed, please help me not lose my tooth. The absess went away. congratulations. Both my hips hurt, every step hurts - could you pray for me? If you have time. Thanks. I do believe God works through certain people. I do healings also but it doesn't work on myself, Lol. Many Saints said the Gifts were to help others, not so much to heal themselves. St. Bernadette could not heal herself, St. Francis of Assisi could not heal his eyes. Many examples. St. Paul had an eye problem he could not heal, yet these people's prayers healed many others.

What u guys are talking is the Holy Spirit guiding you and giving impressions upon your heart. Peters does believe in that, I have seen him say that. He is more talking about either God speaking audibly, or God revealing new things that are not in scripture. That's why we test all things according to God's word. If it's not in His word, we reject it

John 16:13 "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not SPEAK of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he SPEAK, and he will SHEW you things to come."
Greek-lalesei- to speak- emit a voice- make ones self heard. Why would Jesus use this word in reference to the Holy Spirit speaking to us?
anangelei. shew- to declare. Again, Jesus could have used any passive word to say that the Spirit will make known or reveal unto us such as:
menuo- to make known, to reveal
apokalupto- to reveal- to bring to light.
Instead he used two active words that mean to speak, to declare. So to dismiss hearing God speak audibly as unbiblical is just wrong.
Now if you wish to say that Jesus was only talking to the 12 so it's not for today, then you have to explain why the Spirit changed his method of operation. it's easy to say that miracles were meant for a sign to that particular age, if you don't believe miracles are for today, it's a lot harder to say that the Spirit no longer speaks to us, because that's not a sign, that's a personal experience.

@@TheMeefive because those gifts served their purpose. Salvation is a Miracle unless your saying anyone can be saved due to choice and etc. how exactly is that going in the western evangelical world? You already know, it’s terrible. But the point of miracles isn’t for belief at all. The gifts were to fulfill what the prophets spoke about which some gifts do exist today, sermons, salvation, and near death experiences. I mean every Christian wants to experience a supernatural experience, no you don’t I mean the most supernatural thing that ever happened to me is when God chased me down to be carried out of the bondage of sin is the most supernatural thing that has ever happened to me, and I don’t deserve it. The supernatural thing that has happened to me before I was a Christian was an encounter with a demon in my sleep I thought I was going to die right there due to sophistication. I don’t know why God decided to spare me of that but even then that never made me believe in the one and triune God.

Several years ago I was having some very troubling times, I had been worrying about a situation regarding my business and my business partner. I had been praying for several days on my way to work and on my way home from work and every evening. Afler about four days of a lot of prayer and soul-searching I was on my way to work and God spoke to me an audible voice it was as tho he was setting in the seat next to me. I heard a authoritarian voice I had never heard before and he said one word " quit". I knew in my soul that he meant to quit worrying ,quit trying to control everything, quit holding on and let him take care of it. To this day if I ever catch myself worrying or trying to control things out of my control I remember his voice and what he said and it all melts away. I believe that moment will always be with me , to the day I die . Amen

The Holy Spirit spoke to me twice. Once when my mother was dying and I cried out "Lord how long must she suffer" He answered through my spirit and said,"My timing is perfect even unto death". The second time when I was having marital problems I cried out in my pain and sin and asked him how He could allow this and He replied, " No wall can stand against me, Jericho ". Two days later my wife and I were reconciled. To Gods glory both times had me fallen on my knees and in tears of repentance. These are my 2 accounts.

I never want to take Gods glory . I hold no resentment towards you, if anything you gave me a reason to correct myself and make sure I was giving God all the glory❣️❣️❣️Merry CHRISTmas 🙏🧎🏼‍♀️❤️

Many years ago .I was a smoker .I also came to know God through an experience I call being saved .My life was just a mess back then and I was young .I was single mother no money crazy life .One day I just began crying nonstop yelling at God how all he was doing was punishing me and why me ,Before I knew it I was on my floor repenting of every sin ever ,And on my own having a Bible in my house I began to read it which it made zero sense to me .I sought out churches looking for answers and all this did was bring me more trouble ,I was like a magnet to the Pentecostals ,innocent as I was . I went through several years of learning who the wrong pastors and churches were they used my innocence .I decided to read on my own and study the Bible on my own and saw so many things being taught differently than what I was reading ,When I would speak up I was going against the church .I left many churches and sadly I will never return to any .I work in my Bible alone in safety now ..But about the smoking God took this habit from me of this I am more than sure .I had no power in my own .

brudyboy 58 Study God's truth and what JESUS says "AS HE IS SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD" well , how is JESUS and how do we see who we are in Christ ! Perspective is not us looking at us but looking into JESUS , the Author if our FAITH. Have FAITH in what JESUS has given us through the Faith we have been given by God. Your Belief in who we are IN CHRIST is hugely significant .. GODS FOREKNOWLEDGE AND HIS PLAN FOR THE AGES ... THAT ALL THINGS SHOULD BE RESTORED TO THEIR ORIGINAL VALUE .. 2 COR 5:19 . STUDY GODS WORD .. THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST PROCLAIMS "ALL MANKIND IS EVENTUALLY SAVED IN GOD'S PERFECT DIVINE PLAN ..FOREKNEW ALL MEN AND HAD THEM ALL CONSIGNED TO DISOBEDIENCE SO THAT HE WOULD HAVE MERCY ON ALL .. 1 TIMOTHY 2:3-4 & 4:20 .. GOD HAS AND HAD ALREADY WON THR BATTLE AS GOD NEVER FAILS... ALL HUMANITY HAS BEEN SAVED IN GOD'S "SOVEREIGN PLAN” OF THE AGES THROUGH CHRIST ... GOD FOREKNEW ADAM WOULD SIN AND HE CAME IN CHRIST AND PAID WITH CHRISTS SACRIFICE OF HIS BODY TO PURCHASE BACK ALL MANKIND .. NOT A FEW , NOT MANY BUT ALL WHOM GOD FIRST LOVED AND HOS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER. GOD IS ALL IN ALL HE SAYS IN EPHESIANS 1 AND EPH 4 , 1 Cor 15 , REV 5 V13, REV 21 V 5.
Some of the main scriptures supporting the teaching that all mankind will be eventually restored back to God are: 1 Tim. 2:4-6; 4:9-11; John 4:42; 12:32; 12:47; 1 Jn 4:14; Col. 1:16-20; 1 Cor. 15:22; Phil. 2:9-11; Acts 3:20, 21; Rev. 5:13; Gen. 12:3 and many more. (For more, see www.tentmaker.org/books/ScripturalProofs.html)
By the fifth century AD, the church had pretty much abandoned the Scriptures. The Scriptures were translated into Latin by Jerome who introduced many mistakes in the translation. Later, the people were forbidden to read the Scriptures in any language including Latin. During this period, the church incorporated thousands of pagan doctrines, rituals and traditions that, according to Jesus "made the word of God of no effect." (Matt. 15:6-9) While the Protestant church has discarded many of those traditions that nullify the plain word of God, it still has much Dark Age baggage on its back. Some of that baggage got into some our English Bible translations. The "lying pen of the scribes" (Jer. 8:8, NIV) added some of that Dark Age theology to our Bible versions. They put mythological characters like unicorns and satyrs into translations like the KJV even though we know today such creatures never existed. But the King James translators believed in them in seventeenth century England and so we have in some translations many things NOT found in the Hebrew or Greek.
The biggest tradition of fallen men that translators added to some Bible translations was the pagan teaching of a Hell of everlasting punishment. The word "Hell" comes from Teutonic mythology, NOT from the sacred Hebrew and Greek Scriptures. Most Christians do not even know there are major differences between English Bible translations. Most do not know there are many translations that do NOT contain the concept of a hell of eternal punishment. Here are a few of them: Young's Literal, Rotherham's Emphasized, Weymouth's N.T. in Modern Speech, Concordant Literal N.T., 20th Century N.T. as well as many more. While not popular in Hell-teaching circles, these Bibles can be ordered through most Christian book stores.
Clearly, the early believers of Christ and the church leaders taught universal salvation. St. Basil the Great, writing in the fourth century wrote, "The mass of men (Christians) say that there is to be an end of punishment to those who are punished." (De Asceticis) St. Jerome wrote in the same century, "I know that most persons understand by the story of Nineveh and its king, the ultimate forgiveness of the devil and all rational creatures." St. Augustine, while himself teaching eternal torment wrote, "There are very many (imo quam plurimi, which can be translated majority) who though not denying the Holy Scriptures, do not believe in endless torments." (Enchira, ad Laurent)
An honest look at history shows that the majority of the early church believed that all would eventually be saved. The Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge by Schaff-Herzog says in volume 12, page 96, "In the first five or six centuries of Christianity there were six theological schools, of which four (Alexandria, Antioch, Caesarea, and Edessa, or Nisibis) were Universalist; one (Ephesus) accepted conditional mortality; one (Carthage or Rome) taught endless punishment of the wicked." A most crucial and important in point in church history: when Emperor Constantine militarized and politicalized the church, the teaching of Hell became a more powerful weapon of control than a loving God who loved all mankind. At that point the teaching of universal salvation began to be stamped out through severe persecution. The result? The church created what we now call "The Dark Ages."
Before the Dark Ages, the church was vibrant with the teaching of God's love for all mankind. The second major church council composed of hundreds of bishops from the entire church met in Constantinople in 381 AD and elected Gregory of Nazianzus, an avowed Universalist, as president proving clearly that the great majority of the church leadership at the end of the fourth century believed in universal salvation. Yet today universal salvation is considered a heresy in most denominations. The early church better versed in the original languages of the Scriptures and closer to the apostles' teachings thought otherwise. Who do you think is more likely to have the truth? The early Church or the thousands of divisions of Christianity formed by men "drawing disciples after themselves" centuries later? (Acts 20:30)
Well-known and great men and women have embraced the "larger Hope" (as some coined the teaching of the salvation of all mankind.) Abraham Lincoln believed it. Perhaps his belief in the salvation of all mankind was Lincoln' s driving force to end slavery in this country. Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence believed it. Famous theologians like Karl Barth, B.F. Westcott, and William Barclay embraced it.
Those who embrace this scriptural doctrine today are usually born from above, morally conservative, serious students on the Bible and are usually more versed in church history and the original languages of the Bible than the average Christian. They believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and they are very Scripture-centered. The main difference between those who believe in the "Doctrine of Inclusion" is that they have greater faith in God's love, mercy, and power to save than those who think God's going to trash most of mankind. And this belief, that Jesus will do what He promised to do...save the world...is the source of great persecution by the hands of our own brothers and sisters in the Lord. In Carlton's case, it may have cost him the election. Another trait of these believers in the Glorious Gospel is that they believed denominationalism spoils the witness of one Lord and Savior and one body in the earth.

I love you videos. You helped me finally break free from the bondage and fear of the UPC church. Because I refused to babble incoherent words and be "taught" to speak in tongues, they told me I was going to hell and because I wasn't healed overnight, I didn't trust Jesus. Thank you Lord I am over that now. I do have a ? about the Apostles. We had the original 12 with Judas but after the crucifixion, he killed himself so the other 11 named Matthias as the 12th. Now, I think that they should have waited for the Holy Spirit to anoint the next Apostle (which I believe should have been Paul as we NEVER hear about Matthias in the Bible afterwards. So, since Christ Jesus appeared to Paul and anointed him, today is Paul the 12th Apostle or would it still be Matthias? Paul never cared but to me he was the greatest but called himself the least. Yep, I get that verse now. God bless you and if you have ANY videos about the real wolves, like the JWs, SDAs, Mormons, Christian Science, Scientology (esp the first 2), please let me know. God bless and I shared your videos on my blog. The best I've seen and most Biblical ever. I do believe in divine intervention and that's how I found you. Thank you for your teaching. Yes Bible is enough for salvation. However when we pray for personal guidance in a specific situation God sometimes intervenes our lives and give direction - through a specific phrase in the Bible, through circumstances, through other believers or pastors, and in rare cases through dreams/visions and even direct speaking(not necessarily audible). Late Pastor David Wilkerson of Time Square Church, Pastor Jim Cymbala of Brooklyn Tabernacle, Pastor Charles Stanley, to name a few, are respected preachers who have experienced such divine guidances in some impossible situations.
Of course there are many false prophets out there who habitually claim they have heard.

when we are too busy criticizing people, we no longer have time to love them.it's not about what religion you are in or how much you know about God, it's about what is in your heart and how much you love like Jesus. Sometimes, knowing too much about God makesus blind to see people as people to love...they become projects to work on to change or convert...and this makes us become self-righteous and proud...and pride is the one that made the fallen angels fall.

Knowing "too much" about God is not possible, in any way, and knowing God will never make you blind. spiritually blind, or proud people, do not know God. The Bible says that God see the proud from far away, God has not fellowship with them. Intellectual knowledge of what the Bible says, in the other hand, needs to be impartially believed and obeyed, and its words fully reject pride in all its forms. We are all people that need to be worked on, changed and converted by the Bible.

If what I hear in my spirit lines up with the Bible then I go with it. When I am afraid, He assures me that He will never leave me, When I sin the Holy Spirit convicts me. I confess, ask forgiveness and have peace, etc.

Amen...you sound like you are sinning the right way. What? What do I mean by that I? A Believer's response to sin shows how much the Word has affected them just as much as a good deed does. I am aware of the extremes of one Christian who can not even think a bad thought about another without conscious remorse; and another that can parade a deliberate attempt to hurt someone else to onlookers for their enjoyment. There is a great gulf in those lives of spiritual condition.

On the ability to heal. Jesus said if we believe we can do same and even more than what He did. John 14:12-14.
On direct encounter, I believe when a believer has the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit, the believer always gets messages from God thru various means as vision, when praying/meditating in spirit and angelic revelations. If you ever encounter a messenger/angel, you may be tempted to bow as though you have seen God Himself, for it is so extraordinary. It happened to John the revelator Rev 28:8-9. God is all powerful, He can choose to talk to anyone thru any media as He pleases, even when we deep in sin or ignorantly rebellious. Happened to Saul/Paul. Acts 9:1-6. Today muslims have encountered God/Jesus in visions and have converted miraculously.
Some ministers try to down play and discredit the existence of gifts/personal encounters that they do not have. There are fake ppl out there but there really are matured spirit filled few out there too. I beseech everyone to study, seek the truth thru the Holy Spirit and have your own encounter with God. We all believers but some few have drawn closer and personal by divine selection and they availing themselves.
LET'S NOT LEAN ON OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING TO INTERPRETE THE ABILITY OF GOD. WE UNINTENTIONALLY LIMIT HIS ABILITY AND SCOPE OF OPERATION THE MORE WE EXPLAIN GIFT AND ACCESS TO HIM. God bless you for your selfless mission

Anything Jesus May say must line up with the word of God. The one time I know Jesus spoke to me I was in church after a service and was struggling with some thing and Jesus told me “my love doesn’t humiliate.” Not everything that goes through our heads is God. I am 47 years old and of all the years I have served Christ he has spoken once I know for sure. Know one will ever convince me otherwise.

I said to God out loud, are you putting this burden there for your reasons or what is it Lord? The next thing that came into my mind was get paper and pencil. So in obedience to what I thought was God, I did so. I come back with pencil in hand and coffee in the other and said to him, "im ready Lord" for 15 minutes i wrote 2 and a half pages. First outlining my life and answering questions I have been carrying around about my life. He followed with a directive of things I should do regarding my carreer(which I ended up being too fearful to do). Followed by a really nice closing prayer. It was undeniable that it was Him. I think Justin should make a short disclaimer at the start of this presentation, that explains the distinction between the Holy Spirit's guidance and conviction in a believer's life, and an audible word from God. The former, I believe is valid - let me give you an example. You are having a conversation with a colleague at work, and you say something that is not in line with Gods heart towards that person (maybe you were a little judgemental or whatever the case may be), and as you are walking back down the corridor, the Holy Spirit brings a scripture to your heart about the situation, and you see if differently - which leads you to speak with that colleague later on in the day, and apologise and say something to them that is more in line with God's heart.
This is a regular occurrence for many believers, but I believe the key to this kind of walk with God is to really know His word, and to regularly study it. By doing that, you are giving your heart ammunition for the Holy Spirit to speak through into your heart. This is very different to saying "I was walking to work and God said - write this down, this is a new thing I want to say to the church that I've never said before". You get the picture.

    • @jimmyb8060
      @jimmyb8060 6 лет назад +1

Yes, I can agree with that. But there was no audible voice telling you this or that. It was existing scriptures being brought to mind. Or a rush of uncomfortable adrenaline; the fight or flight feeling, that you were doing something wrong, that you felt. No new revelations are forthcoming from God to anyone on this planet. Those that claim that God is speaking to them, are lying, or at best, being deceived by a different spirit. God cannot lie, so therefore, God cannot add to existing Scripture. It is finished. Neither is there now, or will there ever be any, new Prophets or Apostles of God, revealing new revelations to the masses.

    • @JimiSurvivor
      @JimiSurvivor 5 лет назад +2

Neglecting to make this distinction leaves people with the impression that the Holy Spirit no longer teaches and guides people and that, after Jesus' rose to heaven, He "left us as orphans" having no guardian only a book which we must figure out with our intellects. He seems to believe that the time period recorded in within the pages of the Holy Scriptures is a different dispensation but is that idea actually in the Bible? I have never read it. Justin is like one of those parents who is so deathly afraid of germs that they are looking everywhere for infections. They are so protective that they make their children so that they cannot be trusted to live their lives on their own.

This is a very wonderful and helpful message. Sometimes I will sit down with my Bible and quietly ask God to show me a verse or verses that He knows I need in the moment or coming up. I close my eyes and allow my fingers to flip the pages. Sometimes the Book, Chapter, and verse will hit home immediately with something going on in my life or a question I may need answers for, and sometimes I'll land on a page that makes absolutely no sense to me. It's a fact that God uses His Word to speak to us through His Son Jesus. Gods Word is a love letter to us, a Guide to live life by and so much more. God is not silent

a man approached me one day as I was walking on the street in ministry, He was lost and in darkness. I told him about Jesus and to repent of his sins and believe the gospel. But he snarled and was rebellious. Then out of my mouth i said " if you keep going the way your going your going to walk across the road, get hit by a car and break your leg". He made a face of disgust and walked away. I dint plan to say that, it came out of my mouth and i was stirred as i said it. Then about a week later i was walking in another part of town with another fellow labourer in the Lord and i saw that man come at me from down the street. he had a broken leg in a big cast and was on crutches. When he saw me he was startled and shocked, he approached and i asked him what happened. he said he walked across the road got hit by a car and broke his leg. I asked him if he remembered what i had said to him? he said yes and was shaken, i bought him some food and told him more about the Lord.
Now you can call that what you will. But this has happened various times and some wonderful things have happened. What do you call it? I see that as a prophecy or something spiritual the Lord showed me as i spoke. The thing is I did not premeditate what i said it just came out of my mouth.
You can deny such things for today but they happened many times.

Sweetie!!! You are in error for not listening and praying to God for understanding of what Justin Peters is revealing to us. The Holy Spirit used you on that day. Ok! But watch and listen to this man again without a spirit of offence. And you will see what the Lord is saying to us in these last days. Thank God our heavenly Father for your boldness in Christ Jesus.

Justin the more I listen to you the more I sense you are really trying to open peoples minds to the truth! You have the courage to show us all of these false things we are hearing coming out of so many peoples mouths that are supposed leaders! You are truly trying to help and I thank you for it! You have really made me see and I will really go about listening to people differently. I will protect what I read in the bible in my mind and not let these kind of people change it with deception!

I can see Justing through giving bad examples and then showing the bible as the only way God speaks he is trying to neglect the fact that the Holy Spirit speaks today to believers.
there are also genuine experiences where God gave directions and words of knowledge to believers in time of need. words of comfort also.
I was worshiping once and the Holy Spirit overwhelmed my heart giving me scriptures and i sang those words. after the worship a person came and told me that what i sang was an answer to 3-4 questions she asked God just before she came to the worship.
So i believe God can speak today through the Holy Spirit because this is not only one occasion in my life. God does this frequently in my life. If people ask they shall receive.
Luke 11:13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Pastor, Sarah didn’t say she didn’t have enough teachings from the Bible, she wanted to feel the presence of God and she felt it , when she prayed, studied the Bible and she was inspired by the Holy Spirit and she took pen and parper to write The beautiful thought down, not as a new Teaching or as a new light on His words, she clearly says not as He inspired the apostles but to show His love and HIS Father love She teaches only from Bible verses and as He said them. Show me a phrase where she is giving false expression about the Bible or falsehood about Jesus gospel. She is a humble, very studious, Christian lover of Jesus. She has suffered many illnesses But always praised God and never complained, trusting His goodness and grace. You have no real cause for saying that she is a false teacher of His words. She has led many to appreciate the goodness, light, companionship of Jesus in their lives. She repeats over and over how much God loves us and to trust Him for He is good. The illumination of the Holy Spirit in the minds of His children are His presence in us. You claim that He speaks to you and tells you what to say, are you a false preacher?

Justin Peters is a wonderful preacher. He isn't yelling or speaking in an emotionally charged manner. His lessons are loaded with scripture. This is how a preacher/teacher is called to shepherd other believers.
