*Users must link their mobile phone to their Windows PC through Link to Windows on their phone and Your Phone app on their PC, follow the set-up prompts, including being signed into same Microsoft account. Requires an Android 7.0+ phone and the latest Windows 10 update on the PC.

I hope this is a step to get windows back on phones with possibilities to use smartphone as “laptops” connect to display, similar we see in Samsung dex, but with Windows ;) this will be the future.
How do they even make those animations, I swear, so good. Seriously the design team should do a tutorial, at least a walk through of how it’s done. I swear, for real, I’m not kidding. This seriously is so good.

Nah, apart from the actual Samsung product and the OneUi icon design coming from the actual integration there is between the two parts everything looks and feels totally Microsoft. I think the design language they've started going with a while ago now is one of the most defined ones.

@@4everzapy the group also consists of graphic designer, motion designer, UI researchers... Not only programmers. And maybe, it's your taste. To somebody else, they might prefer clean and simple designs. The hardest part is always trying to satisfy the mass.
At least add “exclusively to Samsung” so people would understand.

@@KyleHarrisonRedacted Hey I'm using Pixel 2XL 😊 .. yeah basic functions work like messages and phone calls, but to use apps installed on your phone through your phone app is exclusive to Samsung

@@NYKVerseYeet well if it was made in blender and cycles was used and the have good GPUs so roughly 30-60 seconds per frame and it's in 60fps or 30fps and might have skipped frames to cut render times them use a tool to smooth it out. We are roughly talking about a few days.

Their is some special thing in Animation ads of Microsoft it is so fluid and colourful. If you guys add such animation even as an optional feature in Windows 10 it would be great.

The UI of my 25 year old Win95 PC feels way more snappy than my 2016 Surface Pro 4

yep, I tried doing this with my phone and when I got to the QR code part my phone's camera quality somehow got lower... I tried scanning the QR code but it wasn't working because of the camera quality...

it works really well for me as i am using an samsung s20, i am writing this comment from my pc keyboard through the youtube app on my phone..Although we cant use apps while phone is locked..But they do put a black overlay for amoled phones..Except games practically all apps can be used remotely..

It's not just for Samsung flagships. It works fine in my A70. You can even mirror the phone screen on the monitor.

@@yeppiidev No MacOS has nothing to do with this UI. Glassmorphism was here in the web long before MacOS. Stripe made it mainstream, then everyone followed. All the credit goes to some unknown Dribble designer.

unfortunately you can no longer do that in the latest version of the application, nor in windows 10 or 11, after going from being "Your Phone" to being "Phone Link" that function no longer appears
