The animators for Windows really deserves a raise.
It's probably AI that did this 😂
@@devdhaliwal6152If so, where’s the janky smudging 😂
@@Simeeowwhat if the AI made the keyframing lol
Bro they're already work at Microsoft. So pays good by default
The Microsoft fanboys are out in droves. Sorry, but the app does not match the animations, they are just fluff marketing.
People can say whatever but the animators and editors who make these videos are just incredible
No amount of praise is enough
they never fail to impress us 😊
@@MicrosoftWindowsplease stop makin updates i love Windows as it is

The best thing about the old email application was its simplicity, with Outlook that is lost. Thanks, Microsoft ¬_¬
yeee suffering and trying to connect an Imap Email D:
half of the emails I read in outlook are still marked as being unread and the app itself is so clunky. I really want the old one back. Cool that they're literally forcing us to switch
Animation team really deserves a double 💞💞... If microsoft really make those aero glass effects come alive windows will be in next level ... Really missing aero effects since windows7 .
Same here!
this is definitely agency work not in house
aero and windows 11 will go well lol
in fairness the reason microsoft got rid of aero was because it was a big resource hog on the machine. While I liked it too, I'm ok if it doesn't fully come back. The Win10/11 recreation is enough IMO.
@@joshray2117It is in-house
Imagine this quality of animation in Windows 12
Animation come with price of performance.
Windows 10 is faster because of less animation.
@@hammadbawara Actually everything comes with price of performance, putting an option to enable and disable is good
@@hammadbawara I left windows 11 because my laptop cannot stand all the weight.
@@kostasmira2933windows 11 is exactly like windows 10 but with nicer ui. It's not heavy or lightweight than before
I think it's just Outlook web running inside a web wrapper.
I won't be surprised if they made it with Electron )
@@BoraHorzaGobuchul I think that MS has moved all of their web apps to Webview2.
Yeah it runs Edge WebView
@@StarcrossTV Edge WebView = Chromnium
so technically google owns that app
The fact that it's just a PWA is a complete dealbreaker for me. If I wanted to rely on an internet connection for something as simple as viewing old emails, I would've bought a Chromebook.
The new Outlook has ads in it, the built-in Windows mail app does not. How disappointing.
Be wary folks, this new Outlook literally gives Microsoft 24/7 access to all your non-Microsoft email accounts. It's a web wrapper of the Outlook website, and does not function locally as you'd expect from a built-in email application.
I'm switching to Thunderbird as you guys should
as usual the animations and quality more upon quantity which microsoft/windows prefer is amazing. Even if they just release a new option, they animate it like a new OS/Device/Startup etc. I Love How Microsoft does this without showing any effort to us. It Takes so much time to complete animations and ideas like this.
Thank You Microsoft For Creating Such An Amazing OS And Much More.
Animations' main purpose is to make their os delicious no matter how sour it is( I'm not saying windows 11 is bad)
The real thing does not show any of those animations neither does use any kind of transparency
@@yassinesafraoui idk, at first everyone said it's bad, but now all of them are switching to it, but win 12 will be the next bang.
@@Abdessamad889. Judging by the recent pattern of Windows OS, Windows 12 will be a big hit. XP was a hit, Vista was not, 7 was a hit, 8 was not, 10 was a hit, 11 was not.
I am never dissapointed with the beautiful animations in Windows videos, the animators really have some dedication
I like the Garuda Linux profile picture
Though the functions and features are Sh. New outlook does not support EAS anymore; You cannot change the display name in accounts linked with IMAP/POP; compulsory pop-up new windows in composing......
My biggest problem with it is that unlike the current Mail app, this one doesn't even OPEN offline, which means I can't see my previously downloaded mails without an active internet connection.
The best mail app if you want it to be consistent with windows 11 is Wino mail and that beats new Outlook every day of the week.
Wait really??
@@crud3lis This new Outlook is essentially just a web wrapper disguising itself as an actual app.
Yep, they are making their "desktop app" a PWA
The fact it’s a PWA is extremely frustrating to me. I’ve been clinging onto the old Mail app for this reason
Animations on the ad is just wow. If windows had this in real life, no company would have a chance.
Think fast food ads vs real life soggy falling apart burgers
I love animation more than OS
i love the windows 11 UI, don't get me wrong, but why is there always such a significant disconnect between these animations in the trailer for new windows updates and what we actually see in the UI itself? the animations are GORGEOUS, glassy, and colorful, and it's consistently felt like the actual update we get doesn't match that visual energy. personally, i'd really love an overhaul to windows that doubles down and embraces this style that microsoft's been dancing around these past few years
I wish we could have the themes used in those trailers as actual themes they look so cool.
Deceiving advertisement, they also forgot to mention the ads that will appear if you don't pay the subscription.
I tried the test version a few months ago. Great interface, and speed. My main challenge was retrieving older emails when I wasn’t connected to the internet.
Windows animations vs actual product be like game trailer vs the actual gameplay.
Microsoft should make Designers & animators who worked in that video to design the windows itself.
They already do
It's missing a ton of features from the traditional Outlook desktop app. It also feels like it's just a website they popped into a window. Not a fan. Hopefully it will improve with time.
That's because it's a PWA. It's almost exactly a website acting as a stand alone app, with a bit more functionality
Thanks for clueing me on PWAs. I imagine Microsoft wants a more unified Outlook that works on more devices, etc. But it feels like a big step down from what I'm used to. @@Raviis
Sorry to say, peeps... but the UI is NOT transparent as shown in this animation.
Ah yes, new Outlook loading for 30 seconds, while the old Mail app loading only for 3-5 seconds.
For someone who uses outlook all the time, I can't express how excited I am for this improvement.
we can't wait for you to try it out! 🤩
@@MicrosoftWindows Remove the banner adverts
ah, they probably spent more time making all these animations and stuff in this short video than in windows 11.
I happened to try the beta of the new outlook earlier this year and it sucked at handling multiple e-mail accounts. I had to revert to Windows mail for the sake of my sanity. I hope they have fixed those issues in the release!
What did it fall short of with multiple accounts? I use this with 3 accounts and 30 shared mailboxes at least. Works great.
@@Raviis Not sure which version you have used but the one I tried was with four different accounts from work, school and personal and the UI was messy enough for me to run back to the old Windows Mail. I use the original Office Outlook with four accounts but there I don't face any issues. The problem was with the Windows "new" outlook.
@@indrajitg hmm the new outlook handles multiple accounts just like the old version. Not sure what you saw different about it.
Yeah right. This is what a typical Apple bot says.
@@jacqueslee2592 If anything, I am a Linux bot!
The animation team make windows 11 look actually good. I wish it were like this fr
Us: Make Windows 11 better
Microsoft: Pays the animators more than the software devs to make good animations
The recent updates introduced by Windows are truly remarkable. 👏 In particular, the inclusion of the Video Animator and UI Designer features is commendable. 🎥💻 Kudos to the development team for their outstanding work! 👍
Omg the team of individuals who worked on the graphics for this video better be greatly compensated because this is beyond excellent. Wow 👌🏼
you're too kind 😊
Now apply the same animations in the next Windows OS.
did they fix notfications not working if you dont have the app open? i have this bug in the pre release version or whatever
The animations and crystal interface, as is in video, should be real on Windows! It would look amazing.
Oh My goodness, That is So impressive, Love Windows ❤
we're so excited for you to try it! 🤩
Loving the whole glassmorphism theme they got going on.
This is perfection! I can't wait to get the new upgrade, as this just looks SOOO cool!!
Nice job to the editors by the way, everyone is hating that the updates are taking so long but honestly better now than never, the fact that you guys are putting in effort to fix what people want fixed is amazing!
it’s actually just a web app, no more functional app
Still, I'm glad that it looks a LOT better.@@sizquirt
@@dk4kja8 looks ≠ functionality
I'll bet it still works. That's all I want honestly for it to work the bare minimum@@sizquirt
kinda miss the old mail, it worked and was compact for what it did. Cbf going through all the 2 factor authentication again to re log into 5 different emails.
Well done Microsoft! 🎉
The animations in Windows are really nice to look at. I hope Microsoft can provide even smaller sizes and better animations in the future.
Hope someday we will get Windows and Apps looking like this.
Knowing Microsoft’s track record, good luck with that.
Please add a windows 10 like start menu in windows 11 as an preferences option. It was great to see apps a glance and i miss the live tiles.
The music is just so spine-chillingly satisfying, especially them water droplets-like sound effects.
so soothing 😌
Excited! As a teacher teaching the Office pack at school I'm very excited for the changes and possibilities.
we can feel your excitement from here!!!
neh, after the old calendar and email app gets deprecated, immediately switched to thunderbird.
As someone who uses Outlook daily, I really hope there is a way to switch back to classic UI.
Can we talk about how beautiful windows products videos are???!! like the music and animation fits perfectly!!
Most of the comments are hyped about the animation but I'm here appreciating the music arrangements... Just simple and crisp
Always fan of the animations, so clean and soft
What is the compelling reason to use this free new outlook over the existing paid-for 2021 outlook that supports offline mode?
I gotta admit, Fluent 2 is absolutely beautiful and eye pleasing. 🤩
Yeah the ads are also available in the right side with style 🙂🙂 Only reason I don't use outlook is the ads.
Imagine if even a single one of these UI patterns was actually represented in the tools they’re advertising
*This is a cartoon that explains nothing about the new Outlook.*
I wish the app was as nice as this animation
Those animations are just eye candy man, they look awesome.
but it does not work (too over zoomed or so) for displays with higher resolution than Full-HD with enlarged fonts or scaled display, ie. 150%.
Oh my god. The animation for this video is so well done, I love it. I can't even focus on what's being advertised lol.
we're glad you like it! 💙
I really wish the OS itself used a more 3D-like design language like the one used in these animations. It would look extremely cool.
The new editor makes it very hard to change the language. When choosing a language there is no option to scroll down where the accept button is, not even with the scroll wheel it reaches that far down, the only way to push the accept button is to press tab several times until it shows on screen.
I guess there are also some languages in the button that are also unable to scroll to.
I love the color and transparency effect in this video, please add them to actual windows
This whole "upgrade" makes no sense. The Mail and Calendar apps, and classic Outlook app is being replaced with pretty much the Outlook web client? So how is this an upgrade? I can't stand the Outlook web app as it is and love the classic Outlook app. I'm really hoping they don't force this "upgrade" cause I won't use it.
New Outlook for Windows won't automatically set up all existing email accounts in the Windows Mail version and rejects setting up new accounts, rejects email addresses which are set up in the old Mail. The look and features are great for accounts that work, but this product needs a lot of work, conversion should be seamless. But has great potential, just make it work!
What I need is a theme like this on the video to show windows and elements in space like a 3 d effect ^^
Animators are doing better job than devs
As a person who took college courses of Office 365. Outlook really did become better.
you know it 😏
I wish windows UI actually looked like this.
I tried it for 5 minutes, saw you had incorporated sneaky adverts in the inbox, and immediately reverted back to the old version.
Replace a functional native app with a website, Bravo Microsoft👏
Who knew that an ad for a mail platform would get me excited
The product isn't even look like this. It's just a pwa app with a forced dark mode.
Only if window's own interface was that smooth
Hands down to the people making this cool animations 🙇🙇
Don't know if anyone noticed this, widgets on win 11 consume a lot of memory. Plus I don't use it anyway. I have turned down all kinds of animations in my win 11. Seems very quite and peaceful and efficient
Im totally excited for 23H2!💙
Imagine a world without unnecessary animations - pure BLISS.
More work has gone into this video than into the software, or rather the website presented.
These animations combat stress and depression effectively
Nobody asked for it , nobody needs this new outlook. Give me the old one back, it was 1000 times better. Thanks for nothing, Microsoft.
i wished theyd spend more times actually making windows work then more time on animators...
No turn on/off New Outlook in my Outlook.
New Outlook just installed itself via Win updates as a separate app.
The installation of New Outlook damaged my signatures in Outlook and damaged the options for Outlook signatures.
The installation of New Outlook damaged the *.msg files association.
Due to the dozens of issues reported for this "New Outlook," I will probably wait for the "New Outlook 2.0 final wail version".
Thanks, MS a lot (not!).
Windows has the best product advetisement.
thank you for the compliment!
It's not a compliment. They should have the best os instead
I don't care about the product, I just watch the animation its very mesmerizing
The new outlook doesn't allow the import of your folders in My Outlook Data File with your saved emails. This is one of the missing features of the new outlook, which is very disappointing. I switched back to the old outlook because of the non-existence of importing your folders into the new outlook
Everyone wishes that this was the actual interface
Spectacular never-ending praise in the top comments section about animations in a video let aside, this is not actually an upgraded app, but a mere desperate attempt from Microsoft to display ads on your computer and nag for your money. An absolute disaster that will call for a new email client from a different provider...
Everybody's talking about the animation but the actual product isn't even a native app💀
Actually the animation is way better than the software.
I wish they put as much effort into the actual product than the video about it.
If only the New Outlook software was as good as the advertising animation.
I congratulate the designers for a good job done. However, I have been using the test version for some time and I am asked for my subscription when I want to view attachments sent to my google mails. I have to reverted to the current version because of this and I am able to open any attachment sent to my google mails. Can you look into this please? The whole point of using outlook is to manage and seamlessly work between emails.
I never used Outlook before, but now I must give it a try!
in which applications this animation presentation created ?
Okay, but i still dont know how to refresh my emails
Ads in mail client no thanks!
The ui looks so cool in this AD but in reality windows is not this cool.
Wish the old mail app could still be used. It was simple and didn't have all the bloat. Outlook takes many more seconds to launch compared to it
Motion designers are just flexing at this point.
When will it support on premesis exchange? 😢
You get ads masquerading as new mails in this lol it’s ridiculous
Animation + Sound Effects
What I am most upset about those videos is because the final product doesn't seems nothing like the "3d translucid animatimated" product showed on the video. The animations and the glass effect seems so nice and them you go to the product itself and.... disappointment appears.
