This reissue allows you to rotate the wheels a lot more than the original release. It's much easier to get the hip skirts and obliques past the wheels in this new one.
I thought that seemed easier.
Nothing was change in the reissue though. Hell even the box is the same from 2017. All they did was hold back stock from the first run and then release them as a reissue.
@@WaywardTraveler77 That's incorrect. The assembly that holds the front wheels has more rotational movement in this new release than it had in the previous release. I know this because I grabbed my original off the shelf to confirm as I watched this video.

Since the instruction manuals are useless I download videos on how to transform most 3rd party masterpiece figures. Looks like I'll be adding this video to the collection.

Yeah, he can be difficult, especially if you have the original version. I struggled with this one in my livestream, so I know how it feels!
Nice-great tips as usual! Appreciate your attention and care to transformations :) A small detail you may’ve missed: in bot mode, those small pieces around his armpits should be rotated so they form a continuous arc with the wheel wells. Just helps the sides look a bit cleaner. I think you had it that way on one side after you transformed it back to bot mode.

Thanks Paik. That was much smoother then the live review. That was pretty entertaining. I've always enjoyed this figure and couldn't quite understand why it received such a hard time. This is certainly one of the best transformation instruction videos I've seen for Koot.
lowell martens it has been confirmed that there were some changes in the reissue, so that is probably why I had a much easier time than others including my previous self.

John Gavin no. I rarely ever say that it’s worth paying late tax on anything, let alone toys.
@@Paik4Life I personally wouldnt pay more than 200 for Quietus. Or Mp44 for that matter. Still waiting for Hunk to come out so I can get Magnum. Trying to work up the bravery to transform Roadking. Thanks for the reply,have a good one.
huh i remember in every single review i watched,people were having a clearance issue and many ended up modding the figure...Have you done this mod as well?i didnt notice you having this issue
Burt Greicher nope this is stock. Just a few tips. Also one other commenter did say they made some slight improvements to some parts with this reissue. So that might be it.

CHA CHA CHA some reports are that the latest versions have the fix already applied from factory but I can’t confirm.

FT Koot, or XTB Locke? I think I actually am beginning to prefer XTB, these days.

Wow. I always heard what a nightmare this figure was. I picked him up cause of the bot mode look but thanks to your video I'm actually looking forward to transforming him.
Drew C yeah I honestly have changed my mind quite a bit regarding him!
I always felt the "nightmare" comments were an exaggeration. You had to figure out what order to move the parts to get everything in place, but it was ultimately fine. The reissue does appear to make it noticeably easier.
I really never had a problem transforming this figure. He is far from my most complex transformations. Nowhere does it feel like anything is going to break. Just needs to be done in the correct order.

Dysatisfunctional TV haha at least now people will know that I’m not a transformation matter through talent! Hard work > genius!
