    ▬ ABOUT THIS MATTRESS REVIEW ▬
    TempurPedic Mattress Reviews (Watch Before Buying). In this video, Owen who is a Certified Sleep Science Coach covers his reviews of all the TempurPedic mattreses you can purchase online. This includes the Tempur-Cloud, Tempur-Adapt, Tempur-ProAdapt, and Tempur-Breeze beds. Generally speaking, TempurPedic beds have a dense memory foam feel. Luckily, TempurPedic offers beds in a variety of firmness levels and construction types. For example, they offer soft memory foam beds as well as firm hybrid mattresses. This means all types of sleepers, including back sleepers, stomach sleepers and side sleepers, will be able to find a TempurPedic bed that works for them. On the downside, TempurPedic beds tend to be on the expensive side. There are definitely more affordable memory foam mattresses you can find online. Thanks for watching this TempurPedic reviews video. Hopefully it helps you decide which TempurPedic mattress is best for you.

    I have a tempurpedic classic firm from 2005. Still good, but I'm looking to get a new one. I love the one I have. I'm a petite side sleeper with back issues. Was going to get the luxe adapt, but maybe now get the pro adapt. They are the best mattresses ever.

Since the last FL hurricane, sleeping on a sofa in a kitchen is killing me. I wish Cheryl Elin-Smith would have answered your question due to wanting to know her answer regarding the mattress that helped her. Michael, if you have found a good mattress, please let me know! The reason to go with the LuxeAdapt over the ProAdapt is that the Luxe has an APR+ layer which is much more conforming and pressure relieving than standard APR material. It's a very noticeable difference in feel and comfort that many will feel justifies the higher cost.

    • @OutSkirtz
      @OutSkirtz 2 года назад

      I agree. I laid on both this weekend the Luxeadapt is miles better than the pro adapt.

    • @llw3377
      @llw3377 2 года назад +1

      When laying on the LuxeAdapt, you're not feeling the APR+, you're feeling the Tempur ES foam. The Tempur ES is three inches thick and it's on top of the APR+.

    I just spent 6k on the Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-ProAdapt® 13”Soft Mattress with the adjustable base. I’m getting spinal fusion surgery in a month. So I’m going from a 1k mattress to this. I didn’t want to spare any expense only bc I broke my back in 5 places and I have a herniated disc w a fracture in it, two crushed vertebrae and my spine shifted. That being said I’ve never had a surgery or been in the hospital my entire life. But I’ve been in more pain these past couple of months then I have in my entire life. I bought this mattress to help get my life back. Great video and I’m looking forward to this elite mattress coming in a few days.

      I first tried the Pro-Adapt Soft, and loved it for the first couple weeks, as it was the first mattress I had tried in a long time that was comfortable without a topper. But after a month and a half, I felt it might be a bit too soft, as I wasn't getting enough support on lower back. I am a side sleeper, 5'7" and usually weigh between 150 and 155. 69 years old with some back and hip pain. So I used my One allowable exchange for a Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid, which I have had a week. I notice it doesn't have quite as much pressure relief, but seems mostly ok, with minor pain in hip sometimes noticeable. I wonder if anyone knows whether the hybrid versions soften up over time. I hope it gets a little softer, but the soft one got too soft.

      @daytripper6975 Год назад +1

      Your concerns were my thoughts as well, I’m happy with my pro it has softened up a bit over the last six months I suppose I could do a topper on it if I felt I needed to which is always an option as opposed to it being too soft without that option, Keep us posted so far good with mine

    if you're planning to use an adjustable frame Base Please avoid the hybrid foam coil mattress... avoid the Dreaded V with only one notable exception,,, we own several rental cabins at the Oregon coast & we do hope you'll learn from our mistakes..
    now we personally use the Temper-Pedic Lux Breez Firm on a Temper-Pedic adjustable frame base. & we love it....
    the notable exception for any hybrid foam coil mattress on an adjustable frame base is... Serta Motion Perfect 4 the only Adjustable Frame Base that eliminates the Dreaded V or TACO Effect...
    good luck & enjoy 👍

    • @OnlineCitizenTV

      I might help you here a bit as I sell Temper Pedic for living. The breeze models DO NOT make you feel cooler but REGULATE the temp between your body, your mattress cover and the temper materials throughout the whole night by 8 degrees. You won't sleep cold in winter, though. Whereas the other models REGULATE your body temp. by 3 degrees for the first 30 minutes. Also the Breeze models are more DENSE (NOT firm) compare to other models so you won't need the Luxe. (there is no breeze luxe)
      The difference comes from the cooling layer of Temper material AND the cover vs the cover ONLY on non-Breeze models. Remember always go to a shop, pick the right pillow and lay down on one for at least 15 minutes.

I'm a side sleeper so for me preferably id choose the pro adapt in soft the pressure relief sounds like I'd have a great night sleep as I currently wake up with lower back pain due to my 14 year old mattress. The temperature neutral also sounds good as my mattress throw's heat back at me and I end up tossing and turning all night and makes me sweat so i spend the night trying to find a cooler spot.

    The Tempur Pedic pro adapt firm & Medium are absolutely horrible. May aswell sleep on a roll up foam on the floor. The furniture store only let me swap once for additional $$$, and the second mattress is also unbearable….Im going through lender to get refund at this point. Making hips and arms numb. Avoid them at all costs if you weigh more than a sack of rice.
    Try a lower cost bed you can return, or at minimum start with medium density. That way you know if you go softer or harder. For now we screwed with an expensive mattress that’s causing pain.

    Giveaway: TempurPedic is a well known brand, but I have not slept on one. I have tried out memory foam in a mattress store, and I don’t believe this brand is right for us. If I had to choose, I would go with the hybrid simply because it offers less of that sinking, hot, hard to roll over on, memory foam. ☺️

    Tempur-Predic mattresses seem to be priced roughly double that of all other brands. I'm not sure that they're necessarily that much better. I think there are options that are AT LEAST equal out there, for half the price: The Brentwood Home Oceano, The Nest Alexander Hybrid, the Saatva, the Winkbed, the list goes on... I would check these out before committing to any Tempur-Pedic mattress.

      So far Tempurpedic is the only mattress I have tried in my 2 year quest for a comfortable mattress that didn't need a topper in order to be bearable. And even after adding a topper, I ended up still looking. The catch is you still have to narrow down which Tempurpedic is best for you.

    Tempurpedic may make good mattresses, but their customer service and policies are awful. They refused to cancel an order I made even though the mattress hadn't even shipped yet, then told me if I wanted to make a return, they'd have to send it to me so I could then send it back to them, and it would cost me "only $175" they said. I complained to them, but they ignored me. Will never purchase from them again, and will warn others about my experience so they won't fall into the same trap. I see a near unanimous disgust for their quality of service by others online, so I know I'm not alone in this, and I hope they go out of business or get bought out by somebody better if this is how they feel customers should be treated. this is a prime example of a company wrapped up in its own success and hubris.
