As a child I loved poring over encyclopaedia. I would have absolutely loved to have had one of your prints on my classroom wall, and I'm certain there are many students out there now who would love them too. What a wonderful ambition. The corn looks amazing by the way. :)

Thanks for showing more of your process! When I took my Fungi Painting print to be framed one of the staff was amazed and was asking me, "How did they do this??!" Naturally I told her she had to see your channel! 😀 I'm so jealous of your rain. I live on the west coast of Canada in what is supposed to be a rain forest, but very dry summers lately and I miss rainy days.

That is what I love about your work, that it is so detailed! Yes we worry about Lyme disease here in Canada as well as several people I know have had it. My mom got blood poisoning from a tick bite as well - it's good to be careful.

Thank you for taking some time out to raise a little awareness surrounding Lymes. Sadly, I wasn't terribly Lymes aware and this was a contributor to my acquiring Lymes. Most definitely something you want to take precautions against.

Hello Caro, can I suggest a beautiful book to you called 'Plant Magick' by Taschen. It's really nicely written and is filled with incredible artworks of plant medicines, nature, visions etc! I saw it and imediately thought that your artwork would have sat perfectly within it's pages :-)

what is white growing ink?
Just fyi the Schminke metallic pigments turn brown over the years because they are made of bronze which oxidizes and therefore darkens
Perhaps you als ready know this, I thought I’d let you know if you many not be aware
This is good to know because I just started using them! Hmm I wonder if it would work to seal them with an acrylic medium of some kind? Or the same sealer used for imitation gold leaf? Thanks for posting this!

Why did you stop using Audible?
I try to avoid Amazon as much as possible and rather try to support small businesses, I haven't used Audible since 2020 and for audiobooks I've been using both Libro.fm and Libby 🧡 There's a great book about why avoiding Amazon could be a good idea which I highly recommend: "How to Resist Amazon and Why: The Fight for Local Economics, Data Privacy, Fair Labor, Independent Bookstores, and a People-Powered Future!"
