    How did you keep the viva paper towels from bunching up/moving?

    Would you be kind enough to measure the length and width of the smart bottoms fleece liners?

    For the liner when is rinsed and ten put into the bucket how do I avoid it to not create fungus until laundry day? Because is wet

    • @SAHMClothMom
      @SAHMClothMom  7 лет назад +1

      Barbara Gallegos V the reusable fleece liners repel water so they shouldn't be holding a lot of liquid. And 3-4 days in a wetbag shouldn't cause any issues!

      Where can you get fleece liners?

    • @SAHMClothMom
      @SAHMClothMom  6 лет назад +1

      You can make your own using microfleece..or buy the smart bottoms ones on their website :)

    Hiya. What are the dimensions of the microfleece ones you made please?

    • @SAHMClothMom
      @SAHMClothMom  5 лет назад +2

      Sorry, don't know the dimensions. I just cut to fit in the diapers. The smart bottoms ones are 5x12.

    how hard is it to clean the diapers? Do you have to change each diaper with every time they go? I'm new to cloth, please let me know!

    • @SAHMClothMom
      @SAHMClothMom  8 лет назад

      Yes, each diaper has to be changed whether pee or poo. It's not that hard at all to clean a dirty diaper.. I have a sprayer so that makes it very easy. Add in one of these liners and it makes it even easier!

      I know this is 3 years ago but I hope I can get an answer or answers. My brother taught me to rinse the kids undies in the toilet until laundry day. I will be doing the same with the liners. I’m worried they will get mildew if it’s less than 5 days to wash. What is the home made spray you use? Vinegar? Also, new to this. Our diapers have an insert between the interior diaper and outside water proof side. Can you just keep hopefully using the same diaper if you just use the pads on TOP of the interior cloth to save diaper cleanings. Then JUST change the pads instead of the diapers? Thank you

    Hi there! By any chance do you remember where you got the second liners you showed that said $5 for 5?
    I couldn’t find them in Amazon 😞

    The smart bottom liners, do you think they would work for newborn diapers?

    • @SAHMClothMom
      @SAHMClothMom  7 лет назад +1

      Jaybaeb30 they are long so you could either cut in half or just fold..but they are doable if you want liners in them :)

    do you use diaper rash cream with zinc oxide with the liners?

    • @SAHMClothMom
      @SAHMClothMom  8 лет назад +1

      Yes, and I always use any type of liner to protect the diaper.

    • @andrinebrown-cover8615
      @andrinebrown-cover8615 8 лет назад

      not liner.... the cream. my husband is debating whethr the liners will clogg up with diaper rash cream after a while . i know i will have to wash the liners seperately to avoid the oils going on the diaper. i just wanted to know if there are any other challenges and how hard it os to get the diaper rash cream/oils out of the reusable liners.

    • @SAHMClothMom
      @SAHMClothMom  8 лет назад

      Oh! I've personally never had an issue. If you're using cream a lot it may start clogging it up, but the occasional won't cause issues. You could set aside like 10 liners to designate to creams.

      I've found rash creams make both my boys rashes worse! I've found the best thing is to clean, use which haxel, and dry well! clears up any rash much faster.

      I would just use a different cream that's safe with cloth

  • @DoseOfBaani

    Viva are paper towels tho. I'm a little nervous to put those on baby because a lot of paper towels are made from recycled trash. 😳

      ItsQueen Babii it's not for everyone, but it's a good inexpensive option. I actually use smart bottoms bio liners now, which are natural.
