I don't get it. If people like that want a refund because of their divorce, what do they do with the wedding dress, for example, or the food, the money they paid a possible wedding planner, the location, the flowers, etc.? Do they want a refund there as well? How entitled do you have to be?
For photography, do you put a deposit down and then pay the rest after? I bet this woman was so irate she planned on giving him a deposit, then keeping the photos as payback without paying anything more.
I’m guess is that it’s a scam. If he posts his clients photos online someone just picked a photo and pretend to be that bride. No sane human would ask for a refund, let alone ask for a refund and then decide to pay for more photos. They asked for his bank info too so they definitely were gonna try to steal money from him.
This was 100% a scammer. Whether it was actually the lady trying to scam or someone that got ahold of her WhatsApp (I feel like the latter is more likely) they just wanted the account info to steal money.
Wait! If I gain weight and my Levi jeans no longer fit. Does this mean I can call up Levi's and demand my money back because these pants I bought 4 years ago no longer fit? This lady is GENIUS!! 🤣
What a crazy story..... He handled it as professionell as he could. In the end i was thinking she's not looking for new pictures but for a new relationship....
I heard of this story. It's RIDICULOUS!! "Hey, violin teacher, I'm going to need a refund for my violin lessons seeing as I don't play violin anymore."
I really want this to be real but I can't help but think how much traffic he's probably gotten from curious bystanders, let alone the people actually trying to go find those 2019 wedding pics. Would be brilliant marketing…
A photog I knew got ghosted that way. He did the wedding shoot, got a deposit, the couple was supposed to return to pick out favorite photos to be used in an album, but they took months. Eventually they broke up and never came back for the photos or paid the rest
Next time my family moves, I'm going to call the plumber we've had do work over the years and ask for all of it to be refunded since we won't be using those toilets and sinks anymore! BRILLIANT!!! [my eyes hurt from rolling]
There was a radio interview with Romeo and he finished off the rest of the story. Basically he and the lawyer laughed it off and the lawsuit never happened
Ok, please let me know if I'm wrong here, but does it seem to anyone else that people's inflated feeling of entitlement is getting more outlandish over time?
When i got married i burned my marriage certificate. Huge mistake because after that i realized just how much i needed it because to obtain certain legal documents (passport, RealID, etc) required documentation showing my name change. Oops. I didnt call the hall of records demanding a free copy of the marriage certificate be expedited to me because i burned my original after my dovorce.
Of course this is South Africa. Best part? Wedding photography can be as cheap as $200 for actual high end gear (Because that's the state of the industry here. Next to nothing for 300+ photos that must be edited)
I don’t know why that so hilarious, but it is! Maybe she can have a rummage sale, and get rid of some of the gifts. It’s unfortunately embarrassing on your part. Ha! It’s doubtful that she paid for the photographer in the first place. Nope, no way. I’d never want her as a client again.
I bet she's the kind of person to pester her partner to propose to her, and only say yes so she could have a big wedding. I can see her as a Bridezilla.
Honestly I think think as a South African this is really funny (I know she's in the wrong, but this screams rich SA woman) Plus the fact it seems like they had their wedding in Durban and it sounds like she's from Johannesburg, firstly there are plenty are stunning wedding venues in Joburg and secondly that would mean that the photographer is most likely from Durban so he would have to travel to Joburg to do her 'divorce' photoshoot.
She wanted divorce pics then would not pay him for them hence she feels she has won the battle, Sad Woman, is she also trying to get money back from the wedding planners, the cake maker, the florist etc.
My best guess is that she was getting back together with her ex husband, she was hoping she’d get two refunds in one shot by just..you know.. having another wedding with the same lucky guy. And of course Romeo had to be the photographer for the happy couple a second time. Only then she’d go after him with the lawyers for something like Conflict of interests or whatever she has on mind that day.. guess we’ll never know tho:))
😂😂 I ate my cake. I don't need it now. Can I have my money back?
I pooed it out so I need a refund.
LOL 😂
I work at Costco, this happens. Someone returned half a cheesecake lmfao.
@@lShishkaBerryl OMG 😆😂
Happened a lot at Sam’s club, they would literally take a crumb and say it was the wrong flavor or not what they wanted and demand a refund. 😒😬
She only wants this 2nd shoot so she can confront him in person/bring some other people to intimidate him/steal his equipment. She’s unstable.
If I was the photographer, I would've kindly say no, take screenshots of the conversation as evidence, Block and then report her.....
I never thought of it that way. You have a good point, though.
Oh wow that'd be intense. I thought she was going to basically scam him and "use the new pictures as a refund".
I don't get it. If people like that want a refund because of their divorce, what do they do with the wedding dress, for example, or the food, the money they paid a possible wedding planner, the location, the flowers, etc.? Do they want a refund there as well? How entitled do you have to be?

@@Amanda_Woodwardmmm....good point. Sneaky! This story is so bizarre!
What about their wedding gifts? Do they return those? 👀
@@sweettaterfries I don’t think so, no
@@sweettaterfries GREAT point!
This "divorce shoot" was OBVIOUSLY some type of ambush. He was wise not to go.
As soon as she mentioned a lawyer, I would let her know that I will no longer being in contact with her and we’ll be communicating through lawyers.
This story broke in my home country South Africa and I was in the photography fb group where the story was initially broken. I promise you it's real 😂
This was 100% a scammer. Whether it was actually the lady trying to scam or someone that got ahold of her WhatsApp (I feel like the latter is more likely) they just wanted the account info to steal money.
Reminds me of people who eat almost all of the meal at a restaurant and then ask for a refund cause something was wrong with the meal...
I'm almost certain her plan was to get new pictures taken and then flag the cost with her credit card for a charge back as petty revenge
Wait! If I gain weight and my Levi jeans no longer fit. Does this mean I can call up Levi's and demand my money back because these pants I bought 4 years ago no longer fit? This lady is GENIUS!! 🤣
Yall did a wonderful job on my roof but seeing as I sold the house, I'll need a refund.
Love this one!😂
Lol! This happened to me. If only!!
The photographer is goated for the way he handled it... I would probably react the same way. It just sounds like a joke
😂 this is me.. the laughing i would have done
What a crazy story..... He handled it as professionell as he could. In the end i was thinking she's not looking for new pictures but for a new relationship....
getting a lawyer is more expensive than the refund itself :))))
It’s the “you’ll be hearing from my lawyer” for me 💀 like lady, your lawyer’s gonna tell you the same thing lmao, you ain’t getting a refund!
Plus a lawyer's fee for the case would cost so much more than any refund would
@@brkh96 for real!!
I heard of this story. It's RIDICULOUS!!
"Hey, violin teacher, I'm going to need a refund for my violin lessons seeing as I don't play violin anymore."
If misdirected anger was a person 😂🤦🏾♀️
It's almost like we can all assume why that marriage didn't work out.
This is literally how hard it is to deal with clients
It is ridiculous she tried to get a refund she was literally unhinged 😂
Yes, exactly 70% of the photography cost refunded will heal me from my divorce. Who needs therapy. 😂
Cold hard cash is like a warm healing hug. Perfectly reasonable!
The level of delusion we saw from the divorcee.😂😂😂😂
In your ad for SS, you could have mentioned how if someone wants to switch their wedding photos out for divorce photos they totally can.
Yessss! Story time!
I really want this to be real but I can't help but think how much traffic he's probably gotten from curious bystanders, let alone the people actually trying to go find those 2019 wedding pics. Would be brilliant marketing…
I honestly don't think it is real.

Guess we know why the relationship went wrong!
I think her lawyers spoke some sense into her and she backed down 😂
Lol. Not my first response being: “woman my rent/mortgage has been paid since then!” …. BLOCK
There was a radio interview with Romeo and he finished off the rest of the story. Basically he and the lawyer laughed it off and the lawsuit never happened
This was hilarious 😂 The sh!t you have to deal with when you work with people...
That is insane. Especially after 4 years. That is the biggest chancer of all time
Ok, please let me know if I'm wrong here, but does it seem to anyone else that people's inflated feeling of entitlement is getting more outlandish over time?
that's like asking for a refund of a pregnancy shoot bc now you got your kid and are not pregnant anymore..like what

Did you really mean to say you burned your marriage ceritficate after you got *married*?😂
Did you not mean to say after you got divorced?

Whaaaaaat? 😂

I think she secretly had a crush on him.
This photographer amd client is from South Africa. The funniest thing ever. It was in every newspaper and even on radio. 😂😂😂
What if he did the shoot and she says sometime later we got back together and I want the money back for the divorce shoot
You look so pretty with that hair style
was just watching in the background and then did a double take when I heard 'Joburg' . Only in SA lol
Exactlyyy

Why did they unblock them and consider a second photoshoot?
Love your videos, thanks!!
One of the craziest things I've heard. 😅
Omg not the divorce shoot request hahahah
Hairdresser is next 😂
Oh my take care now lmao 🤣😂
The lady at 6:13 wanted to do the "deed" with the hot photographer. He should have blocked her on everything.
Okay but what about the wedding gifts? She returning those too?
Lol did she ask the caterer for a refund for the food that was eaten 4 years ago too? Cough it back up, guys. Pretend you didn't consume it?
Hey Jessica, could you do a video on acuity scheduling, if you use it?
I never clicked on a video so fast. Wedding clients are the worst.
Why even keep the conversation going
After 4 Years!!!
From what I have seen, a divorce photo shoot is kind of like a "trash the dress" session.
I wonder how many other venders she emailed. "Hello do you remember me? You cooked food for my wedding three years ago and I'd like a refund" 😂
no way I will give them their money back, do customers think we let money sit preciously in the bank without touching it.
YOU ATE THE STEAK!
She wanted divorce pics then would not pay him for them hence she feels she has won the battle, Sad Woman, is she also trying to get money back from the wedding planners, the cake maker, the florist etc.
Counter sue and make an example of her
I remember hearing about this on another channel. It's as ridiculous then as it is now. The comments on the original posting were pretty funny though.
Ruuuuuun Romeo.
What microphone do you use?
Noooooo not Durban! Noo please don't say they're South African 😭 my pride hurts right now😭
Haha, I dont think so.
Sounds like someone was trying to find a way to make some money, in what they may have thought would be easy money.
off topic but where is your phone case from? it’s sooo cute
Oh thank you! I got it in Kawagoe, Japan at a store on the main street :)
