I wish I could but waiting to see a heart specialist and I do not know when that will be and I have an illnesses called non alcohol fatty liver through no fault of my own last year I had poly myalgia and had to take steroids it was those same steroids that caused this do for now I’m biding my time, but I love to watch you and Dylan when you travel your both interesting young people and your laughter makes it so worthwhile watching plus some things you do are a little tongue in cheek but always with a smile so thank you so much for sharing
The name "bubble tea" originally means the tea is shaken in a shaker to create a foamy texture similar to a cocktail. The most common way to call tapioca balls in Taiwan is "pearls". "boba" is a Hongkong slang for big breasts. As the slang came to Taiwan, a bubble tea shop owner in Tainan named his pearl milk tea "boba milk tea". Nowadays when we order "boba" in Taiwan, we expect to see tapioca balls larger in size.
Wow perfect choice of music. Thank you for sharing your good mood. Very interesting facts about the origins of Bubble Tea. In Germany we had a short hype in 2012. Then a kind of defamation was spreaded in the same year, so almost every bubble tea store closed. The last two years theres a comeback of Bubble Tea like a renaissance.
Taichung store is the OG. Glad you were able to visit. Enjoyed all the info in the video. Taiwan’s high mountain oolong tea is wonderful. When back in Taipei, try to make it to the Maokong (Zoo) gondola… not sure if there is a MRT stop. Take the gondola and have lunch by one of the tea plantations at the top of the gondola. Also try to make it Jiufen for great views of the ocean and street food.
as a truviet i have been to TW a few layovers on my way to HCMC (love EVA airline) never got a chance to go out of the airport for a quick visit maybe someday in the near future...
We live in Tainan Taiwan and some of us in the South belive there is another origin story for Boba Tea. Ever heard of the Hanlin Tea Room? what is fore certain, the Taiwanese government has ruled that no one can patent Boba Tea because anyone can make and/or store it. Cute vid, we do like the smaller size of their boba at Chun's. Did you check out the upstairs at all?
Guys you know I love your channel but what's with the short videos? Every week they get shorter. If they keep diminishing in size you may as well just do shorts. Ps I hate shorts 🤪🤪 Cmon give us something worth tuning in for. By the time I got my earpod connected and my butt comfortable it was over 😂
Hahah coming soon! The next ones should be longer and then we’ve got a super fun plan for a series that will definitely make for longer videos! We didn’t anticipate for these to be so short 😂
We love small, soft, silky balls… 😈 Seriously though… The first time I tried warm boba… it changed my life. Not many places where I’m at offers warm boba with milk tea.
Would you travel to Taiwan to try this bubble tea? 😄
You mean try this bubble tea ? Travel ?
@@sirus3002 hahah ooops!! To try 😂😂
Yes ❤️
i am in taiwan and i get bubble tea just about every day because in the USA its like triple the price :DDDD

Chun Shui Tang in Taichung have the best bubble tea on my list, in my opinion. Price a bit higher than other boba tea shops, but so worth it.

We didn’t this time!
90 days Vietnam e-visa going to come in this month or next month. Will you have any plan to do your dream in Vietnam again ?😮
We actually recently came back go Vietnam for a holiday, off camera 😍 it was so enjoyable!
How many calories were in that pint? 😂
Haha probably way too many 🥲 I’d probably rather not know 😂
😎❤️🇹🇼‼️
Looks like frog spawn but I guess you loved it 😂
It was funny seeing bubble tea all over the Toon, but I have to say that it tastes crap outside of Taiwan.
Oh yeah nothing will beat the taste of this one 😍
@@2Passports1Dream I tried a few back in England when going back and none are like Taiwan. Coco in London tastes nothing like Coco here.
Only bad tea is bland
Haha British tea then 😂
Boba literally means big boobies lol
Hehehe 😂
How does this video not have more views wtf do people not love boba ?
This video is so informative and amazing videography thanks learned so much ❤ you guys are lovely
Hahaha - the boba lovers must unite! 😂🤗🥰
Brought you by Taiwan tourism board ❤

I would go to Taiwan just to have a field WEEK trying all the boba spots 😂
Hahaha so much incredible boba in Taiwan!! 😍
