14k would get you a front splitter on the old cars they had about 50 yards of composite in them they were so bloody long.

So much for cheaper racing,, 14.5k front bumper is plain stupid. $1450 is bad enough.

Thanks for the insight Brad 👏Ridiculous that a front bar cost $14k though.

14k for a front bar is stupid money. As a driver, you'd have that on your mind thinking about the percentages. Thanks for the insight, Bradley.

@UKMechanic I completely understand when it comes to the likes of other categories such as F1. I can buy an entire front bar with all the 1LE splitter and canards for less than two grand.

Will the car go on a chassis jig to check if all is still aligned?

That was a scary incident. I was very interested in seeing the severity of the damage. Really appreciate your videos and opening up the workshop processes to us. I'd also be interested in your opinions on the new steering racks.

    Good video.
I know carbon fibre is an awesome product but for panels like the front windscreen pillars, fiberglass would do the job perfectly and be light and considerably cheaper! That panel has no need for structural strength ... seems like wasting money to me V8Supercars

Don't you guys have some car lifts instead of jacks?

Probably same concept as F1 workshops. Work on the cars as you would at an event. That way processes are the same regardless of Track/workshop

This is one very costly sport; for what!! Achieves nothing for making everyday cars safer. Camaros not a production car.

Football doesn't make running around in a field safer, what's your point?
