I was going to get the new M3 setup so I could use my Canon 200D APS-C DSLR as well as the ZV-1/ZV-E10 cmbo, however that was going to take several months to save up for, and the current price of the M2 is significantly more affordable, particularly as I'm using the Canon 200D less and less these days and mainly indoors.
Load capacity Of ME is 720g. But no one knows the load capacity of M3!. Even tech support at manufacture. No RUclipsr even talking about it except this one and mine.
Hey both, agree: the m2 is priced a lot more competitively and that’s one of the things that turned me off the M3; the info on the M3 (at least a few weeks back when I checked) was limited. The drawback of the m2 is load limit but if using light to medium lenses it works great:)

Hey Masood, I have no idea. It’s not the newest product out so won’t be what companies are pushing; it also has the weight limit I flagged so if you use heavy lenses it won’t work so good. Other than that it works very well so it might be the same reason I’m not recommending others: I don’t have access to all the possible gimbals to test:) Good to see you and hope that helps:) Have a great day 👍

Can the zve10 actually connect to the M2 ? With wifi, or if not, is it possible with a cable? So I can start recording with the record button on the gimbal.

I just got this from Zhiyun today regarding the connectivity to the ZV-E10: “Hi Clinton, Thanks for your message. To control the Sony ZV E10 camera, you will need other two accessories in the link below: Accessories For Crane M3 (zhiyun-tech.com) we can't make the M3 gimbal control Sony ZV E10 directly thru cable. Thanks for your support and understanding.” So you need the Transmount and the USB-C v controller to get it to work with the ZV-E10, I suppose. Both can be purchased on eBay right now.

too shallow dof mate, other than your eyeball nothing is in focus!! move a little away from the background and reduce the aperture by a bit so that at least your face has sharp edges!!
