Great vid! Thanks for sharing. It's amazing it caught that amount of oil and also reduced blowback.

The condensate of water? Oil amount is quite a bit. Cleaner intake for sure! 3000 miles is a great oil change interval. Once I saw and felt grit in black oil from cheep filter and high mileage on conventional oil I never went back to a kids way of doinit! Lol

@@lorenray9479 I only use synthetic oil and change oil every 3K miles. I do a lot of towing so it’s no surprise that much oil accumulates in the catch can! Thanks for checking out the video 🤙🏼

Just installed mine a couple days ago, but I’m hearing hissing from the top pcv on the intake manifold can’t feel any air coming out the hose tho. Did you experience any hissing?

@@pyro_cheeze7235 I don’t have any hissing from my catch can. Do you have the same catch can as mine? What year is your Silverado?

Yes it’s the same catch can, it’s a 2006 . I doubled checked the lines and they are snug as I can get them. I wonder if the new lines enhance the air noise compared to the oem lines. I guess I’ll wait for a check engine light to pop up on my dash to know for sure if I have a leak.

@@pyro_cheeze7235 I’ve heard about that happening… I’ve read on some Silverado Forums some people used insulation foam on the hose that connect to the pcv valve and that helped reduce the hissing…
