I am one of them who receive free seeds from Pun Pun. This year I will have my own farm and forest by this rainy season. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your hard work and good report. I have been trying to persuade people in Thailand to support organic farmers and to eat and grow organic since 2005. I warned many of diseases down the line, if they kept ingesting unhealthy food. The bearer of bad news is not often welcomed. Because I couldn't get land to grow food myself while living there, I had a difficult time. Even just visiting family, I felt I was a big burden because I couldn't eat a lot of food they were eating. I have been hospitalized too many times for toxic poisoning. A couple of times, almost died. Had to come back to America. I was relieved to find Tops selling organic products in the past six years (while visiting). The rise of awareness of dangers of use of chemicals in Thailand resulting in people's abandoning the harmful practice, gives me great comfort, knowing I can feel safe. I don't mind paying more because it's life or death issue. Those who don't bother to know me think I'm a snob for "wasting money." The more available means cheaper, in my opinion. There used to be a huge difference in price here in the USA, but now, most are reasonable.

A farm should produce to be self-sufficient and bountful. Barter with your neighbors as needed. Cash exchanges when needed.

US and European can definitely start to learn and be more self reliant build their lives and local economy again instead of feeling despair and stick to non-functional capitalist system.
We need to as another option build centers like Pun Pun worldwide.

"Non-functional capitalist system"? Are you kidding? Is that why America is a super power in the world? Because the capitalist system doesn't work? Hahaha....

      จริงๆ เมืองนอกเขาก็ทำมานานแล้วนะ
      พวก"Prepper," "Eco-life," "Green living/architecture" มีหลากหลายมาก

I agree that Capitalism is our only defense against communism, which is a good thing.
But I think what James meant was that the economy in certain capitalistic societies can crash any moment--because currency is mostly fiat now. Research the central banks and fractional reserve. In the past, we had gold to back up the money, so printed paper still had represented value. But now it became "currency." Money made digital, or printed out of thin air with no goods to back it up. The central banks run everything: from economy to politicians.

American corporations have been destroying the organic farming way of life by introducing hybrid, genetically modified seeds to countries all over the world.
