Octavio Gaitan's Custom Windows 98 Themes (with Sounds)

- In 2013, Octavio Gaitan released some custom themes for the Windows 98 Operating System, it was later discontinued a year later in 2014, after that, the themes in question became lost media.
That was, until January of 2023, when a user by the name of "Custom Themes for Retro Windows Project790" reuploaded all of the themes that were made in 2013 (with some exceptions), which is why I am making this video! Enjoy!

I was also part of this, but I remember that there were more themes like:
99 Balloons
Adelaide's Village
Lone penguin
Octavio's World "This one did have a wallpaper and had a second version and composed different variants of sounds"

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 theme
Primal Rage
Turbo Windows
And that, the rest I no longer remember or they are already lost media
Ah, these were the ones I were only able to find, the rest are lost media afaik.
Arabesque was also a theme. You can find the wallpaper and sounds for it, but as for the icons, they're the only ones that are hard to find for that theme. Hopefully you understand that.

It was first released as early in 2011 but I watched the 2012 version back in the day, then 2013 but they really discontinued in 2015-2016 like that in actual. Update: it was discontinued in 2018.

I remember finding a windows 2000 professional installation disc like 5 yrs ago,but yeah it was kinda useless bcz i didn't have a such a PC which could run it,i had my Aunts Hp Compaq dc7600 CMT from 2005 or 2006 running XP,but yeah its cpu cooler was something unique,yeah bcz Pentium D needs proper cooling cuz of its heating issues,idk how my dads 2006 custom built looked like from inside i sadly never got to see it,i had it around but yeah no knowledge,just tried to reach the back by removing the front panel and stuff,i hope my dad had a second pc and didn't throw it away,if i find it ill try to uograde it upto windows xp or maybe somehow windows 7 for nostalgia
Daym this stuff reminds of the themes on s60 symbian nokia phones(eseries and nseries and others) memories when i used to download dozens of them on my Nokia n95 long ago,they were fun asf,no sound themes but yeah the interface and wallpapers were magical than anything for me then,good times,but hey even tho i dont like windows 98 much,themes r nice, daym happy tree friends,a creepy classic💀,but yeah my dad used windows 98 back in the day,i remember downloading these themes on a nokia e75 too,it got rly slow but i used to love how the icons and interface changed,my nokia n95 was full of this stuff,that was one of the great phones of its era, Nokia's s60 Symbian phones were my fav phones then.Tbh these themes literally reminded me of them,daym nostalgia hit hard😢,anyway thanks for sharing these themes with us Bro,bro make another vid on Windows 2000 ones and windows xp ones too

it is useful for microsoft windows 95 with microsoft plus for windows 95 expansion microsoft plus for kids and also microsoft plus for windows 98 bit i think microsoft plus for kids can sorta be on windows 95 or windows 98 though. with these.
I have not tested these on Windows 95 nor Windows ME

If only I knew if someone else had other custom themes like Pearl's Island, School, Turbo Windows, The Garden Keeper, and even Lone Penguin.

Daym your pfp,it used to be one of the admin pfps on Windows Vista,btw found out it's a pic on the Getty website,my dad set this as his admin pfp too long ago when he used windows vista on his workplace PC(IBM Thinkcentre M52 8113)with Pentium D,a 250 GB HDD and idk how much ram at first

I remember Octavio Gaitan from a decade ago, I still have most of the themes saved somewhere on my PC to this day and never lost them.
Nice, would you be able to upload to the Internet Archive Including the fonts too? I used to have them but lost.
