DO NOT TAKE DROP. U r already getting amazing colleges which means u have the capacity to do very well in these colleges as well. Do your research about branches and choose one out of these options by yourself. Drop is a very risky option, u never know what can go wrong in 1 year. I know many people who took a drop and scored even less in their drop year for various reasons like health issues. In the end, it's your choice. All the best;)). Choose wisely.

reality yahi hai ki same skillset ke sath koi tier 1 or tier 3 ka aadmi jayega to tier 1 wale ko kam se kam 2x package milega as a fresher( average packages se hi compare karlo ) .. or plus college sirf placements ke liye nahi lete log , exposure , peer group , social respect , facilities matter karti hai

I think if are confident in yourself and know that you can aquire a seat in IIT next year then taking a drop would be preferable.
