The mistake of making notes was so relatable, I used to do the same in my first year in college and regret looking at the notebooks how much time I wasted writing things instead of coding!
But in online mode , we missed our 1st year College Life, niether we got winter vacation, nor any Holidays to cover up what we didn't understood. Moreover, classes are held from 9-5 in which we don't get time to spend with ourselves,..life has been completed destrupted💔🥺😭😔

1st semester in almost all colleges focuses on collaboration and establishing communication skills within students, remember that these are students who have come after 12th with no prior social life, Please encourage them to live a balanced life, agar 1st semester Mein Hi DSA khatam karne ka try karenge toh they will burn out.

DSA Question is must to do. But doing CP is not necessary. You can improve your Problem solving skills just by doing questions on Leetcode. Please Don't do CP if you are not getting enough time. Because Due to Covid, there is less holidays we are given between semesters.
I think 300-400 questions after first sem break is quite a high target rather I would suggest to solve around 100-120 questions but spend proper time in each and every question maybe 1-1.5 hrs in a single question if you not able to solve before moving to the solution. It will develop your problem solving skills

Not worth it yaar. I think in first year just follow as per your college syllabus (if it has cs topics in first year itself). 2nd year mein hustle maaro bas. Itna padhenge to explore kaise karenge. Vaise bhi online sem hai, koi friends vgerah zyada vaise bhi nahi hain. Aman bhai khud kehte hain ki placement ki padhai 6 months mein ho jaati hai. Top colleges se ho, bhale hee non cs/it, to fir to ye itna stress hone ka sense hee nhi hai.

Also the difference lies in the fact that people are more willing to learn it( since they've selected the stream themselves); plus, we don't have an array of substantially different topics such as physics, chemistry mathematics!

It's not possible to follow this road map from home . We haven't gone to our college yet . And it's very difficult for us to get this much of motivation in order to follow this roadmap because in home we doesn't get the environment . If we would have been in college then this road map would have helped us. It's very easy to say but difficult to follow.
U don't need to go to college to learn programming.simply start with c and c++ they give u clear picture of working of programming languages.despite they are harder than any other programming language but after learning them u can learn almost every programming language
@Priya Rai I don't think you are in an engineering college. it seems that you are still in school. And if you are in college then you should not post such comments. Because in my college there are no any vacations and also there are 5 unit tests are mandatory before 2 Pre University tests and after that, at last, we have to give our semester exams. I personally like Aman Bhaiya and all his team members but truly this roadmap is not for me and students of college other than NSUT
Due to covid our two sems means first year is being completed in only 6 months because giving our jee examination in October and starting our academics from December This is a loss by which we can't explore much and learn all that things that can learnt in one year
I was in 12th standard this and last year and I had opted for CS as optional in 11th standard but we were taught python (the Tesla of programming languages) i first watched your videos because I wanted to learn c and now I'm watching for guidelines related to college these videos are very helpful and will continue to be a great help for the years to come by thank you for your amazing content:)

As they say learn c++, well you can start with python or JavaScript as a beginners, dsa is possible with these language too, c++ is initially boring, you will learn to print some pattern etc you won't be able to develop something
In the video there are 4 semesters which means 1 semester is of 6 months(4 yrs b tech) But for someone like me who has 6 semesters (each of 3 months) I will have to get it That the videos one semester is equal to an year Learning the basics of first ever coding language in half year(or half semester) i'd call it preety flexible if you have time management skills In conclusion it's not really impossible, it was never... It just requires a bit attention from you Just for some motivation in the beginning I'd prefer u to read a book and try to manage you work with time❤

And that is a sufficient amount of time to get a decent rank in JEE if you study systematically. And yea Branch doesn't matter that much, which is evident from the fact that the Coordinator of PClub IITK is not of the CSE Branch.

don't you think you should make new roadmap for those who belong to the covid phase, 4 months of 1st sem, 3 months of 2nd sem, 3 months of 3rd sem, no winter break, no summer break, whole lot of assignments, completion of lab files, semester reduction-but no syllabus reduction, half syllabus in midsems, full syllabus in endsems, 8+ cgpa target right from the starting, 6+ hours of classes daily with the 75% attendance criteria....life has become hell....and you expect us to complete dsa+algo+development...whole...in 1st year itself....a truly imaginary situation..😒😒😭😭

1. First sem me thoda life pe clarity pe bhi kaam karna chahiye.
2. I can't see the reason ki pehle coding and web dev sbme ekdm best banne ke baad 4th year me kyu decide karna about freelancing.....can't we try it in 2nd year.
3. AI ML wala field bhi last me kyu explore karna.....fir coding me jitna mehnat kiye 3 saal wo to thoda waste ho jayega na agr field change karne ka man kar gya to?

While writing this i am realising ki she is actually correct.....1st 2nd 3rd year me jb expectations and pressure low rehta hai us time actual hard kaam nibta diya jaaye and fir dhire dhire proceed karne se 2-3 internships and kaafi accha job hath me rhega and apne pass option rhega to explore diff fields in 4th year when other people would be busy in placement. Also isse life me ek security Rhega to fall back upon.
5. Earlier i was thinking of learning web dev to try freelancing first.....but now i think her way is more better.....once i learn all by 3 semesters i will be good to go for trying internship or freelancing too....cause ek major tension ni rhega ki freelance ni chala to kya hoga....cause i will have coding dsa skills to fall back upon which majority students won't have

In the video there are 4 semesters which means 1 semester is of 6 months(4 yrs b tech)
But for someone like me who has 6 semesters (each of 3 months)

Learning the basics of first ever coding language in half year(or half semester) i'd call it preety flexible if you have time management skills
In conclusion it's not really impossible, it was never... It just requires a bit attention from you
