Hello there! I’ve never really been able to read music very well but I acquired an ear for music During my teenage years. So I’ll listen to a song and learn the notes by ear. I’m sure there’s some sheet music somewhere. But search everybody wants to be a cat.
@@SamirSaif Wow, that's crazy that you're this good without having ever learned to read sheet music. You should really learn to read though because it reduces how much time it takes to learn a piece.
@@tucker6072 reading sheet music is good for learning big band jazz charts, but the rest of jazz should be learned by ear and sheet music is only really to hold a shell of the music somewhere it can’t be forgotten. Learning by ear allows you to learn the style and feel of a piece whereas sheet music just gives you notes
Hey what’s up bro! This was recorded with my 1951 olds studio model. One of my favorite horns! This one was built in Los Angeles. A few years later olds began production in Fullerton California. I’m a olds trumpet fan and have been playing vintage olds horns for years now! Cheer bro!
