      Cute, but it's wrong.
      Anyone worth their archeological salt would see the skin-tone issues with comparison to the reconstruction and the ancient statue. Somehow, I feel like this most basic detail would not be overlooked by the ancient people constructing the depiction of a valued member of their society. Pretty basic observation, ya know?

      if people can reconstruct faces of an unknown victim accurately enough to find out who the victim was without a DNA test, then the reconstruction of a pharaoh's face from the skeleton is pretty accurate. Also, don't forget that Egyptians are a mixed race

A white french woman did that. And the Arabs who live in Egypt now after they migrated, allowed her to do this. Just for an Example. How about digging up the Viking Mounts!! They’re untouched and respected. Put those treasures and dead bodies on display! No one denying that the Vikings are NOT Black!! Try Focusing on the Norris people, Plato, Herodotus (who by the way, he stated the Egyptians were Black/Brown skinned), Homer (his Odyssey) Aristotle,etcetera, etc.

    Funny thing is, Tut had art that depicted him slaying Nubian warriors, with a clear and obvious racial distinction between who was on the Egyptian side and who was on the Nubian side. Egyptians were mixed, with Sub-Saharan, Eurasian, and Semitic ancestry (and probablymuch more). We don't look at Latinos and say "are they Native American or European", we just call them Latinos. From my understanding ppl’s features & skin tones were generally based on their geographical conditions. Ppl that lived in Africa tended to be darker bc their soil was dark, rich, & fertile. They consumed foods that contained particular minerals that was grown from their rich soil. Their nostrils tended to be wider to help them breathe better due to the humidity. The hot, scorching sun caused their hair to be different from other ppl’s hair from other regions. This is also why American Indians tended to have a red tint to their skin due to their red dirt, hence the name “red man”. Oklahoma meaning red ppl in the Choctaw language. So it wouldn’t surprise me if Egyptians were black considering Egypt is in Africa. From the dust we came and to dust we shall return.

Black people have a rich enough history that they don't need to try to co-opt Egyptian history to be impressive.

      @@unspokentruths6416 I'm confused when ppl say it's not a race thing but then say blacks have enough history.... like go get your own. If it's not a race thing why when I asked an Egyptian if the black actress (who is mixed) that played Cleopatra took a DNA test and it proved that she had Egyptian blood would they be ok and he said IF her features were right. Mind you before I asked him that question he himself stated that Egyptians comes in various shades & it wasn't about race. I explained to him that the black lady that played Cleo more resembled the Egyptian commentator and he said if the black lady took a DNA it had to be very high. I then asked how high. To sum it up he just didn't want a black person playing her. I mean it is fine if it's a non Greek non Egyptian white woman but oh no not a black person.
      To answer your question the fight is agreed old they are trying to say it's not about race but it is. It's something that we don't talk about like we should which is every race looks down on black ppl even other non white ppl. Ice seen black ppl accept every race but name me one other race that isn't ashamed to claim the black race. Keeping brown ppl ashamed, divided, and ignorant is why all brown races are right where we are. I wish we'd stop doing that.

    The average height of the Batwa of Uganda also known as the TWA people is about 5 feet. King Tutankhamen's height was 5 Feet 5.75 Inches. The Batwa descend from Batawil a direct descendant of Japheth's son Tyras the ancestor of the Tyrrhenians later known as the Thracians. According to Josephus, Tiras became ancestor of the "Thirasians" Thracians a "flame-haired" (red or blond haired) people. Many ancient Egyptians had blonde or red hair. Ramesses II had red hair and Queen Tiye the mother of Akhenaten had reddish hair. Gebelein man who was discovered in Egypt had reddish hair. Gebelein is a town in Egypt. Qarnabil the daughter of Batawil married Cush according to legend. Bakht was the sister of Qarnabil, and she married the brother of Cush named Phut. Bakht and Phut had a son named Gebul King of Gebal and ancestor to the Gebalites.
    The Gebalites were ancient masters of stone. In
    1 Kings chapter 5 verse 18 it states that Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders and the Gebalites did fashion them and prepared the timber and the stones to build the house. The location called Gebelein was most likely named for Gebul the son of Bakht and Phut who are the direct descendants of Ham and Japheth.

    King Tut was neither black or white as understood in the modern day. He would look like a less tanned version of Egyptian people who live there today (the climate was marginally different), by the standards of today middle eastern looking. But considering he was a Pharaoh he probably had limited exposure to the sun so likely had whiter skin than the average person of the time would be working the fields in the sun i.e., labourer. But this video is seriously wrong he certainly wouldn't be considered black in the modern sense this is comparatively evidenced in the historical record as Egyptians said that the Nubians were significantly darker than them that is black. This means Egyptians would likely have the same skin colour as someone who is genetically a quarter central African mixed with white. The AI facial reconstruction is likely more accurate representation than the one in this video and it's does based on evidence the guy was likely better looking in real life but they can't exactly map soft tissue or fat content perfectly. The skin colour though is accurate if the guy had never gone in the sun, this is Egypt though so probably did so he would look very tanned.

    • @kingmono
      @kingmono  Год назад +3

      That makes no sense. How can he not be African if he was memphite? Also his ADNA proved he was closer related to modern South Africans than ANY OTHER GROUP. SNP markers do not prove race, just shared ancestry... which has nothing to do with phenotype once removed by a couple of generations.

Upon opening the tomb ministry authorities discovered chest upon ornately decorated chest all made of aromatic cedarwood that was likely sourced from Lebanon. Archaeologists counted 26 in all.
