As a Mexican from immigrant parents that always had to do menial jobs to make money what is going on in the UAE is dam near slavery. My parents chose to be here, and had the option to leave whenever they wanted. They had the option to open bank accounts, even rent an apartment, etc… they can’t do that over there. They are literally a different class of people whose only purpose is to work and if they want to leave they can’t. A lot of times they take away their passports.
They also chose to come to UAE to work. Those same workers can also choose to do other jobs after those jobs where they can get their own apartment if they like. The funny thing, jobs provided lots of benefits like housing where people did NOT have to go and rent their own places and when they started taking that away and paying people the money instead, many people didn't like it and complain now. Being in a foreign country, especially for a limited amount of time, it was much easier to have someone handle that and the finances of it. A lot less stressful especially when so many people are in the country trying to make money and look for places to live. Demand is high.
Being granted citizenship in a foreign country is not a right. That's an American idea. Other countries are not beholden to American ideals and ways especially when those ways have not proven to be successful. Can foreign born citizens become president of the US? No, they have to be a natural-born citizen. Is that fair? That is up for America to decide for itself. Not another country. Countries have the right to make their own rules. If certain countries, like UAE, allow foreigners to become citizens and operate in government and at the same levels of them, would eventually be replaced by all foreigners as they are minorities in their own countries. It doesn't serve them to allow foreigners to become citizens. Other countries are not beholden to American ideas and shouldn't be judge based on an American perspective especially considering America has a lot of systems that are no proven to be successful. America is no position to determine what human rights are, what is oppressive and impose their standards on the world when they have the worst track record with human rights, the most income disparities, the highest crime in the world, etc. They allow people to become citizens but that's THEIR way and it hasn't shown them to be more successful because of it. When covering legal matters, y’all should have a professional with relevant experience present. In criminal matters, victims are just witnesses; they have no control over the case. All discretion is left to prosecutors. Also, in crim, cases have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. In civil cases, the plaintiff has all control over their case and the case has to be proven on a balance of probabilities. Cassie could have gone to the feds and they could have turned the case down due to lack of evidence that can result in a conviction. Therefore the civil route could have been her only option. I hate that people are saying this was just about money. Her affidavits told her story in detail and exposed that sick fuck to the whole world.

I wish that they explained that King and T.I. clip from the Family Hustle. King wanted to transition to being homeschooled to focus on his music career. T.I. being the multi-platinum artist that he is, was essentially saying no to him being homeschooled because King doesn’t have any kind of motion or following to warrant them pulling him out of school for his music. T.I. wasn’t kicking him out the house. He was telling them (Tiny and grandma) to let him go off in his room and think about a plan to make his music blow, to justify what he wants.
Somebody should’ve asked Charlemagne if he would be comfortable being in a labor camp when he was dead broke. Working 7 days a week, living in slums, without any way to move up in life.
Also the shelter there is literally like the slave houses in pre--Civil War South, hella people crammed into 1 room with little food and no air conditioning (which is terrible in a desert country) Charla is whole heartedly supporting near-enslavement of the lower class
Don't believe what everyone tells you. That is not true, especially with little food, lol. UAE has so much food it's ridiculous. The fact that this type of work exists in America as well shows the ignorance of Americans.
I was living in Middle East for a while too, I found out they really actually have some amazing manners, traditions and discipline! Which actually makes life better! Everyone was nice to me, polite as hell. No crimes! Their family values are just beyond! America has too much freedom for bs tbh
I wish more Americans would know this so they can see how to improve America and demand better lives. America is really oppressive but people can't see it, especially when they're in it; they just see it as normal. Partly because of the misinformation and propaganda they push about others places (like the whole slave labor bit) and just ignorance. If you told someone those Middle Eastern countries had the crime statistics of America, no one would want to go. Yet in America, it's just normal.
I disagree with Charla because immigrant workers are damn near slaves in the UAE. However, to say the US has allowed for upward mobility is BS, especially for immigrants who struggle to even come to the country in the first place.
I disagree my father came here with absolutely nothing except the clothes on his back with my mom and now he is thriving more than he ever would back in his home country. Is it hard? Hell yes but it is 100% possible.
My parents came here from a Soviet era shit hole, and have worked their way to become millionaires through their businesses and jobs. Some of you don’t have the work ethic or the ambition to be better.

Charla does realize that these people go to places like Dubai and Abu Dabi out of desperation and forced to work under insane conditions, 7 days a week, live in squalor and literally can't leave without the permission of their employers? Not to mention, a lot of the employers take advantage and sometimes don't pay them at all.
Charla dude you are completely wrong. I grew in Los Angeles- do you know how much money the city spends on the homeless issue. They tried to give them housing but a lot of them don’t want it, why??? Because there are rules. Nothing in America is easy but what you fail to realize is that there IS an opportunity for upward mobility.
its not because of the rules they don't take the shelters its the conditions and the fact that many of them are actually safer on the streets than in shelters. also, you can't just throw people in homeless shelters and expect the damage that any period of homelessness has done to them will just magically go away. UAE is bad but doesn't make USA the land of milk and honey....Funny how so many bad people learn from the USA treatment of Black and poor people.
When you realize drug addiction is a health issue and not so much a "choice" you can move to the next step and say, let's give them housing first. It puts them in one spot and makes it easier to get the treatment for their disease. Their will be some who still refuse but many of the housing options offered to people with addiction problems will never be able to connect the addicts with treatment and counseling while they are out in the streets where it's dangerous and conducive to using more drugs and not less. You can't hold out housing as bait because the addict knows they will probably get caught using and get kicked out. So why bother. But housing first policies will not work because an all encompassing plan will cost a lot of money and we don't put that high a value on human life. If we cared enough we could figure it out. How do I know? Drug addicted women with small children get priority housing first, THEN get services to help them with addiction and assistance in getting back into society. We don't offer that to single men or childless women.
They don't know what they're talking about though because those same contract workers CAN start businesses in UAE if they have the money and return to do that. They just have half the information.
This was a vintage Brilliant Idiots episode 🔥 I think in recent years it got too politically sensitive but this episode went back to basics. Two homies with good rapport just making fun of random shit. If it’s like this for the next episodes I’m definitely checking in!

Most of the workers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and surroundings, live in containers, stacked up on top of each other, barely and rarely get paid, they don't eat for days, there's no hygiene, no sewers, they poop and shower were they eat, etc. I know people that would work non-stop and just take naps in their cars, no accommodation. Often, their employers take their documentation so they cannot leave. They're enslaved and deaths are normal. 1. There is a lot of crime 2. There is a lot of drug use 3.
Charlemagne the Narcissist.
Love you Andrew!!!! Hilarious
Charlemagne is a flying monkey of P. Diddy who is a Narcissist
You can tell Charla is too cautious about Diddy conversation😅
Probably got them cheeks clapped 😂😂
"Your mom got the sweetest pie with all due respect" 😂
Al threw my man the Alley-oop "It's a real thing" hahahaha
Not even 20 minutes in and Charla is advocating indentured servitude 😂😂😂😂😂
That opening line was the craziest opening line since 2016 brilliant idiots ,Charla 😭☠️
3:32 The fact that Andrew STILL got him is WILD!!!! 😂😂😂😂
I hope Andrew and Alexx get Charla with the setup they planned on the flagrant patrion ep
R u talking about the conversation he had about using the Spanish fly?
40:07 if that’s the case then why didn’t he countersue Cassie for saying those exact things?
No one settles a multi 8 figure lawsuit because they're innocent and just wanna get back to business. They playing stupid as usual. Lol. He's guilty and they're cowards.... As usual.
This is like saying fox news settled for 3/4 of a billion dollars over the dominion voter fraud lawsuit hours before the trial started because they're innocent but just dont FEEL like going through the drama publicly. Lol
Charla never beating the allegations after that haircut story. Holyyyyy 🤣
I have to watch this again after listening to it to just see everyone's faces at moments. Lmfao
There are no slums in UAE.
@@nunya54pretty sure the slaves working there wouldn't agree with you
This EP Is 10/10 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lost some respect for Charlemagne. He shook of the Diddler.
“If I get a blacky bulger then it was meant to happen” is CTG’s greatest bar of all time.
Also the shelter there is literally like the slave houses in pre--Civil War South, hella people crammed into 1 room with little food and no air conditioning (which is terrible in a desert country)
Charla is whole heartedly supporting near-enslavement of the lower class
And? Their freedom to be complete fuck ups affect most of us in a myriad of ways.
That opening tells me everything I need to know. 💀💀💀. We’re 🔐 in!
Charla describing capitalism like he just discovered something new 😂😂😂😂
The way andrew curled that " why I otta" fist will forever live rent free in my head 😂😂😂
Alex and Andrew with the double team 😂
Missed these two man but that break from podcasting brought that energy about wanting to talk to each other
Alex nailed it on the lack of moving up in life in other countries
0:01 😂 YO THAT INTRO CHARLA LMFAOOOOOOOOO you wild for that one 😂😂😂😂
Charla had me dying laughing from second one with the special olympics thing !!!!! omg my abs hurt !!!!
Incredible episode!! Hilarious throughout.
Schultz is like a 5yr old who needs attention in this episode
Andrew screaming maga was getting on my nerves, it’s like if someone gets to much attention he does something to bring it to him
When Charla said Special Olympics, I honestly laughed until I had tears rolling down my face. This was the funniest Brilliant Idiots ever. I don't know if this episode can be topped. Winner 🏆 for the best comedy episode. Flagrant has me laughing too but y'all were on 🔥🔥🔥 and didn't seem to be trying. 😂😂😂 👍👍👍
I couldn't stop laughing😂 1:43:40
Just like when he said Pound Syndrome 😂😂😂
Charlamagne making an argument for the implementation of the Kafala system in America is crazy. That nigga went to Abu Dabi and drank the cool aid
Hence his point that we may have TOO much freedom. The freedom to be a scurge on society is crazy.
@@ibervillezee9142What percentage of the "free" people do that?
Had to come to RUclips after listening to this “haircut” Story 😂
We're trending back towards 2 hour eps, let's get one in before Christmas 📈🙏🙏🙏
Lmfaooo the way he just got that special Olympics off so quick is crazy 😂😂😂
CTG should just say he’s scared to talk about certain people and keep it moving.
@51:22 - Charla definitely got hard to that haircut
I dont know if charla is more afraid of diddy or his majesty lol
"The audacity to call it a haircut" 😂
I love watching these guys, feels like I'm kicking it with the boys. Thanks for the great vibes 🎉
That’s why I like Andrew Schulz he’s humble and doesn’t forget the struggle, you can literally compare slave America with slave Dubai
Charla is so dumb it inflates Schultz’s intelligence
No, you literally cannot. That's absurd. People who voluntarily sign up for contract work who get paid for the job they accepted to do?
you absolutely cannot lmao
The joke hit so much harder if u watched the last flagrant episode 😂
Big facts
bro said we running that back lmfaooo. i couldnt wait to see that shit hit xD
Charla let him have that one lmao. After that he put his guard up fr.
Amazing way to start the episode! Hilarious!!!!
Charlemane dancing around that diddy situation like MJ 😅
WHAT BOOTS AINT GOT STRAPS!? made me spit my drink hahahaha
This was a vintage Brilliant Idiots episode 🔥
I think in recent years it got too politically sensitive but this episode went back to basics. Two homies with good rapport just making fun of random shit.
If it’s like this for the next episodes I’m definitely checking in!
I know for sure it meant alot to that Filipino being told mahal kita .. most people have the smallest idea how it is for a Filipino to work abroad and leave the family just to give a better life for them. It can be Very lonely and hard . I know that feeling . For that I Thank you CTG. Thats why we give more than we should because we feel that appreciation and we are grateful for that. Bet you he wont charge him if he could . Good on ya. Love the Show!
I didn't expect Charla to have any integrity in the diddy situation but my goodness the tap dancing is night at the apollo level lol. I'm not surpised though because he has some agregious allegations against him (some that he has admitted to unprovoked lol). NASTY behavior all around.
I can’t respect that creep. Seems the whole breakfast club are scum buckets
28:09 - 28:27 BRUH SCHULZ WHAT IZ U DOIN?!!!! 😂😂😂
Remember when Charla just told say: “you’re either for the industry or for the audience”.
How he speaks about the Diddy situation lets you know he’s totally industry now. I mean I get it, he has to look out for his own interests. But still, he just to be my favorite media personality and he has become so blend and boring.
He's extra neutral on this situation because he is also fighting his own accusations. Glass houses
Shultz explaining to Charla why modern day slavery in the Middle East is wrong is just WILD
32:42 charlamagne knows he’s scared to talk about shit 😂😂😂 like just stop . Wendy Williams got fired from her spot in nyc back in the day for having info on diddy that he slept with men she alluded she had info and she got switched outta nyc that day. So the ppl that brought him up told him well to shut up about certain ppl
That moment at 1 hour and 5 mins in is just amazing
5 seconds in and Charlamagnes already talking crazy about the specials😭
About time missed yall stop flying everywhere😭🍿
CTG definitely walking in egg shells talking about diddy.
6:59 😂😂😂😂😂
Shultzy lookin like DJ Qualls in Road Trip! 😆
These two missed each other. 😂😂😂😂
52:34 this is a Ben Chang from the back of the classroom moment 😂😂😂
Gyaaattttt Dayum Taylor fine when she stepped in front that camera......she definitely had YAMS fa Thanksgiving 🥰😂😂🥰
Put a time stamp on it man !
27:45 & 28:23 she definitely brought the Yams with all due respect 😂😂
Anyone know when the podcast wars begin? I already have my team ready.
This episode is brought to you by the crown prince and Riyadh season 😂
Can we PLEASE get a year in review wrap up from the best moments for the pod this year. PLEASE
the amount of dark humor in here is wild 😂 andrew be buggin
this episode is straight fiiiiiiiiiiire
The jokes are funny, but Charla’s privilege (and xenophobia) is definitely showing. It makes me think his social justice was all for show.
The best episodes are when the WHEELS COME TF OFF 😂 28:25
"Anybody in this room coulda been in this Diddy situation.."
Whoo boy Charla and his past 😳😳
The Coca Cola was whooping schultz a** this episode.
I don’t know if yous had a team meeting or some type of revaluation but this episode was amazing!!! I laughed so much lol
Felt like an early-years pod! (Speaking as a long time listener.. please keep this vibe going 🙏🏽)
1. There is a lot of crime
2. There is a lot of drug use
3. There is unbelievable poverty
Even tho I love this show, they looked like clowns covering this topic. Privileged multimillionaires talking at a surface level about a country where they're treated like kings. Which they deserve, not gonna argue about that.
They turned CTG into an overseer. That's crazy. "Behave now. Massa treats ya'll well" type-beat
I live in uae and just a correction on some of what was said: in a lot of ME countries, it does apply, but in uae you can start ur own biz, own property and there are a lot of success stories for people inclusive of Pakistan, India and other nationalities known to be in that type of labor jobs. It is possible to come here, start from zero and do what you could do in USA.
