Great, I hope it works out well for you. I enjoyed using it. I’ve now got the Viltrox 16mm full frame lens mounted on my ZV-E1, which I love and is a snip at around £450. Might be worth looking at. I’ve done a video about this lens also you can check out.

Great set up, your video was so informative. I am a noob and I hope i can get into real estate videography in the near future... I see some people mentionning to use external monitors like atomos ninja... (which i think it adds cost and weight on to your setup) what is your thought on it? Do you find your self needing one? They say they need one because when they are shooting slog3 it is usually exposed a lot and they use the external monitor to check focus, color.
Personally I am fine without a monitor, as I like to keep the setup small and lightweight, and I find for shooting real estate I can see what I need. I shoot with the focus area tuned to red, so I can easily distinguish what’s in focus and I also have the gamma assist turned all the time while shooting in SLOG as I find this helps me get the exposure correct.

Hi Jonathan, superb video here, thanks for sharing! I love the setup and am also thinking of buying this camera body and lens, with clear image zoom enabled on the 11mm 1.8, does it disable the face and eye tracking in this mode? Thanks
I shot a video with a client the other day using this lens and the clear image zoom and the eye auto focus worked fine.

With an apsc lens, will you not get less light in compared to a full frame?
I’m my experience I’ve not had any issues with less light as you’re still making the same use of the whole aperture ring. It’s just cropped in on the full frame sensor so you won’t make use of the whole sensor though.

Ok but you forgot to say the most important thing! If you zoom a little bit with the zoom lever you can use it at 13mm! 😕

There may be a short section where the auto focus didn’t catch in to me.
I’ve now moved on to using the Viltrox 16mm full frame lens with the Sony ZV-E1, so feel free to check that out and see if you think that’s any better.
