      @@Thenormalyoutubertipsandtricks Absolutely, I mean, I weren't aware of content like this until I discovered Dale's. There's a few other channels uploading similar content, not just on the Underground. I think with Dale being so upfront with his managers, that may have been a factor. As long as It's kept within morals, theres isn't really an issue. Like Dale states in his videos, the job always comes first.

    • @TheTraindriver85
      @TheTraindriver85 7 месяцев назад +9

      On the Northern, it’s rare to use it, except when the service calls for it, late running etc, we use part of that loop, but only up to signal L221, which we must not pass, then we change ends to travel northbound. Next signal is L22 then pass that you’re on the Picc. Only trains that usually uses the full loop to change lines are engineers trains, or the refurbished 1938 stock that people love to see.

Some of the trains running those days were still 1938 stock and I would often wait to catch one of those in preference to 1959 stock. The seats were so much more comfortable and more interestingly configured + the trains had so much more character and seemed to ride the rails so much better.

    Hi Dale, in answer to your question I prefer videos with something unusual going on such as rusty rail movements, but the ordinary ones are still interesting. I was brought up in the Bounds Green area, so the Piccadilly is my 'home' line and I used to use it a lot, both to get into town and also sometimes for excursions to Osterley Park (seemed like a long time in one train!) and Kew Gardens (enlivened by the change of trains). Also, once I'd moved to Oxford I often used the express coach to and from London, which crosses over the other branch of the line at both Park Royal and Hillingdon, so both western branches have memories for me. I always wondered what it would be like to have a driver's eye view instead of just being a passenger, so these videos are a fulfilment of that wish. Many thanks!

    I love these cab ride videos, what would be really good but I suppose you probably can't do is get a cab ride on a different tube line and video it for us. :-) Say the District Line from Upminster to Ealing Broadway would be a good one. Keep up the good work.

    Used to travel from Southgate to Sudbury Town as a child in the 60's so this is very nostalgic love every video and can never get fed up with anything to do with the piccadilly line. Great videos keep going.

    I'm learning from your videos so I put everything in practice in the bakerloo line on Train Sim World 😂

    Hi assume that the Arsenal stop use to be called Gillespie Road at one time, as I saw they have kept it in place. Great videos by the way.

      This video ruclips.net/video/vZx4-vwsGX0/видео.html by Jago Hazzard has all the stations that were renamed on the Piccadily line. There are a lot.

    You are a good boy and your videos are grand. Thank you. Deepak Chopra would be proud. King of calm. Somehow, your vids convey much the same. As a boy, I rode the rails as much as I could in the TTC. Never more calm.

    Please keep the videos coming. Even covering the same route is fascinating, and we always see and hear different things. Your commentary is a big plus as well. As I'm watching on a Sunday morning, around 18 hours after you've posted, with around 10k views, and around 1k likes, I think that it is clear that many of us also feel the same and hope for more and more content.

    The video in the underground sections might not be much to look at, but I'm really enjoying the commentary.
