XV1600 Road Star speed sensor

Everyone I speak to says not to try to replace the sensor because it is simply too difficult! Well, I was up for the challenge as I wanted to ensure the odometer would work, for future registration checks.
The sensor is part number 4WM-83755-03 and is fitted to many Yamaha bikes so sourcing a 2nd hand item is easy. Fitting the bolt back in was the hardest part but with time and patience it can be done.
