I just wish they put these event quests permanent as a story quests or free dlc quest. The confirmation of albedo's origin is very important.

This is, in my opinion, the best event quest we've had so far. Storywise, everything is really well put together. It's entertaining, intriguing and I do want to know what's gonna happen next. It was a long quest but I didn't even see the time passing. Also, the characters that participate in this event are amazing. I hope Rosaria make an appearance at some point. She's the only one I'm really missing. Since she was already suspicious about Albedo, her reaction knowing about everything that's going on in Dragonspine now would be amazing to see. We gotta respect those writers and developers. Good job!
That is unless the whole story is about a trouble maker whopper flower.and based on what we have seen from mihoyo so far they may actually do something so stupid.I really wish the faker is at least someone important
@@yasindark4482 I don't think the whooper flower could use Albedo's notes. Albedo says something about the notes being very dangerous in the wrong hands, and we followed human footprints in the beginning... I'm assuming the whopper flower only copied Albedo's form after seeing him inside the cave... So I'm hoping to see another Harbinger at some point, but who knows.

I think the Albedo's impostor is connected to the giant wopper flower that tried to kill Joel. Also there's a possibility that we may find or save Joel father at the end of this event,he might be traped inside the boss lair or maybe inside the that wopper flower.
*[Lost in the Snow Spoiler Alert]*
If you completed ''Lost in the snow'' maybe you remember that Joel's father was trapped in a cave after rocks collapsed and sealed the entrance. In his notes, he mentions the cavern ends in an opening to a cliff. He says he would try to climb down even when it is a high and steep wall he was confident on the snow down there that might cushion his fall.
When you finish the mission they prompt you to go back and report, but if you explore what the notes say, you will find the father's backpack at the bottom of that cliff, which implies that he tried climbing down, but he misjudged the situation and he didn't make it.
In Genshin, they don't leave corpses, so no way to be sure about it, but unless that someone had found him and helped him in time, or that he purposely walked away leaving his stuff, the most likely is that he died there.
If you want to check by yourself go to Dragonspine's teleport waypoint that is southeast of the dragon corpse (wyrmrest valley), north of the main peak, and follow the road to the east, you will find the backpack near a big log just passing a cryo stone. Climbing up the wall you find the cave's opening where he was traped.

i found it. and if you go to the waypoint southwest from the peak and jump down the wall, you will find a gravestone. You can put flowers there.
@@eisflamme2438 I think that maybe that might be someone else, bc that location is a little too far from his course and when you find the tomb they don't make any reference to him(not that I remember). He wanted to go to the camp that is northeast of the place he jumped, and the tomb is on the opposite side of the mountain, but still, we don't have enough to make conclusions.
@@eisflamme2438 that isn't his gravestone. That's for a different quest entirely. That's the scribe's gravestone. In Dragonspine there's a door that can only be opened after gathering 3 boxes: The princess's box, the scribe's box and the priest's box.

I'm questioning Mihoyo on why don't they add these important hingest of information on permanent story quest. Rather they put it in an event quest. New players will miss out on the information. Just like me who just played a couple of months ago who didn't know Scaramouche appeared in an 1.3 event quest
To be fair, you didnt really need to know that other players have met Scaramouche as the main story quest changes your traveller's reaction to meeting him in Inazuma if you haven't met him before. Other than Scaramouche's appearance, absolutely no information was even mentioned that referenced or was about the 1.1 event in the main story
A lot of people must be avoiding Stormbearer mountain which is why so much of the quest makes you go to that pain in the butt map. It’s not a pleasant place to be, it’s not fun and I avoid it as much as possible by playing on all the other maps.
That’s just it. It’s the story that you experience along the way. Not everything can last forever so you should make the most out of each experience. Aka Events and event story. They are the rewards for the players who have stuck with the game and being able to experience the story as and when they are released.
Thats stupid, you can make the release of quest with important lore info special while at the same time making it permanent for people who couldn't experience it in the tiny window of time it happened to be released.

So I have a theory. At about 28 minutes, an exchange takes place between the traveler and the thief.
When the traveler talks to the thief/imposter when he comes out of the cave, Paimon asks about sorting the starsliver to throw out the impurities. To which the thief/imposter responds "Indeed. The sorting process is necessary. Humans are such practical creatures. They only want those things that are good..." then he drops his head and says, "Useless things should be disposed of."
We now know that Albedo is a synthetic human being. But what if he wasn't the first one? What is Rhinedottir had tried many times and "failed" by her standards, and she discarded the failures?

Honestly im speculating that the thief is scaramouche. He might've asked the fatui to trap bennett and use it as a distraction to get away, and 2.2 had a plotline where childe was trying to scaramouche, who had seemingly disappeared.

So imposter albedo uses negative answer or action (like hes in a bad mood in the first scene, gave up on chasing the thief and the way he pronounced “good” is not soft during starsilver scene), deep voice plus no gold star in his neck.
Real albedo uses calm, soft voice (lowkey happy w/ a bit of high pitch tone, compare it in fake albedo you can tell the difference) in a polite way and puts a lot of thinking and considerate when saying things. And immediately apologize when there’s something wrong and response in a curious way when its about alchemist or something mysterious which sometimes it sounds funny.
We also already knew hes good at handling kids like klee or paimon so theres no way he would treat joel badly like that. Anyway i guess im albedo simp so its odd to see him look stress like fake albedo did
I do gotta admit, eula’s so scary when shes mad. She reminds me of my older sister when angry lmao. Plus, when bennett’s reaction is so sad xD. He thought albedo didn’t want to save him before he found out hes a fake.
Wait a minute. I played this quest in JP voice-lines and i must tell. The ENG voice-line is much better this time imo. The JP one is too calm compared to the ENG. also Eula in ENG did so well in delivering her lines. JP Eula was lacking grit and dominance in her voice especially when Eula was approaching Albedo. Kuddos to the eng VAs for doing great this time too
I can also hear the voice actors getting better the more they voice act and get comfortable with the characters. Just compare Paimon's voice acting in this quest to the tutorial that you see when you first make a new account. She sounds way better. I love it.

So here is the thing. While I do think a whopperflower may very well be connected to all this, we just saw the impostor speaking and thinking. Either that would have to be an incredibly intelligent whopperflower, or there is likely someone else actually responsible for the impostor's existence in the first place.

Could the impostor be Gold herself? I back this argument with the following
1. Only she knew the minor details of how Albedo looked and his voice sounded, and hence was able to pull off such a precise disguise. ( except for the neck mark ... idk why though)
2. She is a very powerful alchemist, so shape-changing could be an easy job for her.
3. She might have come to Dragonspine to revive Durin.
4. The new Wolf Boss is also Gold's creation, and since he appeared in this patch, there might be some relation. (This one is too copium)

The aunty Eula is a mistranslation. In CN and JP dub the kid calls her sister Eula instead which is why Eula let him call her that. Calling someone aunty is kinda rude. This ruins Eula's character for the EN dub players
But it is much more funny tho. I kinda wish the CN dub says aunty as well
I didn't know it was considered rude to call an older woman 'aunty' in Chinese and Japanese culture. Where I'm from (I'm southeast Asian), we call our older women 'aunty' as a sign of respect when we greet and talk to them. In fact, the Chinese people here are very fond of the word 'aunty' and call any older woman that when they greet them (E.g., "Hello, Aunty! Nice to see you!")
