Original Resident Evil 4 still holds up even after the remake and will forever hold a special place in my heart. That being said, the Resident Evil I used to play all the time before RE4 was Resident Evil 3. Kept replaying it to get every single dialogue option, beat Mercinaries with every single character and got every single weapon and costume unlocked.
It's kind of a mediocre survival horror. Ethan also asks way too many questions and states the obvious. Ethan: A dead body?! Also ethan: It's dark. Like, it is?! I had no idea it was dark!

ive honestly never been a big fan of it. idk why but i do really enjoy the coop. thats really what made it worth playing to me. just never got big invested in it on my solo plays, but for real it is a really good game for coop even today. atleast in my opinion. i still get friends to buy it and i dont get tired of starting over. to be honest re5 was just disappointing for me when i first played it, but really it was just because i loved re4 too much. i feel i can appreciate it a little more now but nostalgia is a killer. hell im playing re4 remake rn and it just isnt the same. im enjoying it dont get me wrong but it makes me just want to play re4 2005 lol
Despite the fact that the very first series came out a long time ago and now we are waiting for new projects of the studio, I still like the games of the nineties, they still preserve the charm of the unknown, worries, fear and what can await you in the dark corners of any location. But I'm not against new series where the developers experimented
Resident Evil 3 Nemesis 1999 was my first introduction of the Resident Evil series that got me into the franchise and that’s my favorite one of the franchise too lol 😂 but that’s just me though
I believe the best true RE game is RE1 Remake. My favorite is RE3 1999. And the best modern one is RE4 Remake (which is also the most addictive). I personally loved RE5 as well and played the hell out of it... I would even consider it the most polished. And the true stand out of all the franchise is RE2 1998. RE2 Remake gets a special mention for triggering the new era of if series. I know RE4 2005 is legendary, but I honestly don't connect with it anymore (even though I loved it back in the day).

Показывается реальное превосходство монстров над человеком, ибо просто на каждого тратить патроны тупо стреляя в тело не получится, а не как в 4ом резиденте 1 раз попал в голову и добил ногой, вот тебе и хоррор. В резиденте 8 к каждому боссу можно почувствовать симпатию. Димитреску это элегантность, донна беневиенто это детский характер, моро вообще ущемлен его друзьями, а гейзенберг это юмор

I only like resident evil directors cut , res evil 2 for ps1 and code veronica x for ps2. I have played 4 n got 5,6, revelations 1 n 2 for ps3 but the 2 originals for ps1 are my favourites, i still play them on my ps2
