For people wondering. This the MST RMX2.0. You could probably find it used for a good price. I got mines with upgraded motor, “turbo” or boost, 2 shorty batteries and some extra things for around $220.
@@wolfenher6937 I do drift a cheap “wallmart special” RC car with no gyro I even had to add duct tape to the wheels of the 2 wheel drive pos to get it to slide on the hardwood at my house…🤣🤣it’s fine no gyro needed can still slide around the corner into the hallway now if I can get my hands on a powerful rear wheel drive RC with hard plastic tires…Amazon here I come😂😂
I’ve never had a drift rc car but when I try to slide with my offroad rc car, I find that it is much easier to control on a less grippy surface, since the grippy surfaces can randomly get more or less grip at times
I'm like 5$ toy car, replace circuit board with receiver and ESC 2 in 1, replace all wheels with PVC pipe, buy standard servo and gyro. Cut and make it turn more. No suspension no problem. 20 dollars good enough.
a good budget gyro is around 70-100$ .. a good chassis like a yd2 is like 200-300£ a 2s-3s lipo ranges in-between 20-70£ and there's more i can't be asked to put in
Well, some more professional rc drifters would probably call the plastic “drift” wheels and gyro cheating, but overall I think it’s a solid setup for beginners for sure!

I realize i wanted to go fast and ill do what needs to be done to do so. My old goal was 160kmh 3 fuxking years and i couldnt do it . Got a gyro and ive hit 180 so far 2 weeks after. Because i was able to push it

I would love to build a an rc drift car with FPV drone parts. Our batteries are stronger, radio links quicker and preciser, motors more responsive and I guarantee our gyros are faster with flight controllers running at 400MHz.
I use awd thin oil in front diff and thick in the rear and mine does a lot better than a rwd drift rc car and thay come with better motor and everything else you just have to upgrade the front to get more steering lock
I have a RTR version and drifts pretty amazing out of box. You can buy the RTR version but it’s quite on the expensive side like around between $320 to $430 depending where you buy it. The cheaper way to get one is buy the Kit version and just built it up for yourself and throw your own electronics on it.
How can I tell if my gyro is jacked? I just bought a used car the other day, took it to a local indoor track and had a hard time keeping it from spinning.almost as if the gyro was doing nothing

No idea about rc drifting, but could you use a dumbo rc with an inbuilt gyro on the receiver, they are £37 including the remote

Not anymore. Back in 2005 to about 2015 there was no such thing as RWD RC drift that was actually good, though.
