It is heartwarming to see Ava's progress and your patience and enthusiasm for her learning process. Thanks for sharing an update with us on the main channel! She's a beautiful macaw. ❤
It is crazy awesome how relevant your videos are to our everyday lives! I JUST talked to someone about seeing a birds capability of flying and starting with an indoor setting, then moving to an enclosed outdoor area. BirdTricks has great, relevant content.
I remember when my super timid rescue CAG spontaneously hop/flew to me, his choice! My eyes leaked with surprise and joy. All because of YOU GUYS and what you teach!!
So wonderful to see Ava costing to fly! My African grey Jengo has begun voluntarily flying to me. To my back at least😂. He has come so far since we began speaking his language. Still not stepping up from his cage but he will from anywhere else. Baby steps. ❤
One of my cousins forgot she had my budgie in her hands and went outside with it. When I shouted to her she just let it got. I'm was so relieved my bird decided to fly back inside the house (it was dark outside and pretty cold also). It came back to me and I put it back in the cage. Then I took care of my cousin.
Good for you for joining the bird family channel. You will learn a lot from here. 😂 Fun, failure and flying is the name of the game around here. Congratulations ❤
Absolutely love your videos Jamie. Please, please bring Morgan back to this channel. Patty does not deserve Morgan. I literally cry thinking Morgan is in Patty’s care and not yours. Morgan deserves to live out her Golden Years with someone that loves her as much as you do. 😪
Have you guys been watching Caroline’s journey with her two baby golden conures? When she got them they were clipped 🤬🤬 instead of taking them in to be put to sleep and had feathers added she did this all on her own and it was amazing!!
I have not seen anything about it but clipped birds can definitely become great flyers eventually if given the right training environment and opportunities!
@@BirdTricks I’m sure you guys know of Caroline’s channel on RUclips. She has the blue macaws and reg macaw lol she free flights her birds also. I just thought it was amazing what she did with her two new little babies. You guys totally need to check it out
They will be coming out here on the channel, two per month ideally. The whole series is already on Patreon if you want to view it all at once there. But otherwise I will be releasing 2 videos per month here on the channel for you to watch her journey this year.
It's interesting how some birds don't want to fly, but my bird prefers it. I have a budgie. He is distrustful of my approach. But he's fine with me if he is approaching me???
Yes, many prey animals are that way. They want to be able to feel like they have control over their environment by choosing to engage with you vs the other way around.
Blue throat's are soooo adorable - especially when they get fluffy heads! 🥰😍
Agreed 🥰
"Teaching her that she can learn" is such an awesome concept!
I'm so thankful for Bird Tricks. I am spreading the word to everyone that has birds or is interested in birds. Yay Ava ❤
I appreciate that so much, thank you!
You know i think Ava is the sweetest! Even though i have seen it, I loved watching it again!!💛
Thanks, Wendy!

What’s wrong with patty?

my budgies are terrified to even leave their cage. i will never give up on trying but i feel like they may never enjoy being free out of their cage
Please make an Ava playlist I’m struggling to find them all
Ditto but, nobody will respond to me
I think the others are only on patreon

Thank you for your response. I look forward to watching it.
In the intro you mention that this is the fourth Ava video. Where are the other ones?
❤❤❤❤🫶😘😘
Ava at first glance does not seem to be as vocal as Jinx. Was Jinx this quiet when you first got him or was he always vocal?
Jinx is definitely the nosiest of my flock... except when Comet thinks it's past dinner time.
What net are you using for your free flying batting cage?
I’m using the 55’ long one from here: www.amazon.com/shop/birdtricks?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_aipsfshop_aipsfbirdtricks_JVTSXG5GRHG6YY0ZCR0H&language=en_US
