Nice repair. I’ve got the two basket model, New Holland 156. Mine needs some repair, but was a very effective tedder. You will like how it moves the hay.
Yes sir-y gonna be corn pickin time coming up soon! You're the man Ross, nice job and runs so smooth. Makes me wish I had one, just to have a fun project like yours, hmm, maybe not, but it was fun watching you struggle.😁Thanks for sharing, good luck with the rest of it, can't wait to see it working! Have a good one.
Now we know it's possible to make a half destroyed 4 basket into a good 2 basket tedder. They spread up hay drying significantly especially the green stuff that's laying on the bottom
Ted would be proud of you but the other Ted wanted to be more prouder. So, they would say "Ross, had a gooder Tedder repair." Hoping that Granddad is doing well.
Mr. Reikers, Almost seems the way you have the baskets now would make pretty near a windrow. Is there too much throw on the arms? Not saying you need another rake around, it was just my first thought when you gave your idea. I don't know how those types of tedders work, anyway. I'm used to running the Pequa 910 barrel tedder at work and a 710 on the 770 at my grandparent's. Sorry to say, but the family farm just put Grandpa's '65 770 into semi-retirement as its getting replaced by my JD 2510. That old 770 has made 2500-6000 bales a year since 1980.
😊😊 HI ROSS the starter 4 the other tractor 🚜 😮 bit the dust it needs 2 took off and took 2 the shop so it can be overhauled made good again 😊😊 OMG 9 16 2O24
It's so satisfying when you can turn sadness into happiness.

Nice video Ross. Another fixed up piece of equipment for a good price. That extra grease is just rust prevention. Congrats.
Success from sadness! 👍🏻
You need the large assortment of bushings from the farm store,so you to find out that you don't have the right size 😅
Teddie!!! The Tedder!!!!

You can run it behind the combine so the machine loss isn't in a row.

😁👍👍👍👍
You might have to switch the tines around
Glad to see you got the Tedder all put together.
Did you put John Didder corn head grease in the gearboxes?
😊😊 HI ROSS the starter 4 the other tractor 🚜 😮 bit the dust it needs 2 took off and took 2 the shop so it can be overhauled made good again 😊😊 OMG 9 16 2O24
If you ever need tines for those tedders, they’re the same tine as a Kuhn.
Get them from my Agco dealer for my 751 John Deere which is made by Kuhn. I'm betting they are very standard
Total sadness to total success only Ross can
If the drums were switched you wouldn't had to change teeth. Little late now good job
The grease will keep it from rusting.
Maybe it is fighting you because you aren't showing it enough love.
How many acres do you farm?
Take the excess grease off the teder and put on the plow bottoms! Waste not want not.
