There was a 2 rotor tedder in the consignment section at the WRVAA show. I started to look at the tag but there was some guy giving it the once over. I did not want him to think I was competition so he could snag it cheaper. It looked like some good smaller-size stuff was in the consignment. There was a guy who had a 440,550,660,770, and 880 sitting next to each other. The next tractor was a 2-105. To me, all of them looked ugly as they had all been painted and clear-coated. They never came that way. The finish was like glass and so slick that dust would not really stick on them. There was a HG Oliver crawler plowing. It was pulling a JD 2 bottom that kept plugging up with soybean stubble. It was a great day for visiting the 4-day show. The gas engines had a great turn out. Lots of Maytags were popping away.

Hey Ross, this is the first channel I have subscribed to. I like your delivery, and you seem to have the same luck with items that I do. I just purchased a 1975 Oliver 1365 4wd w/ a loader. Your channel has helped me out a bunch!!! I don't farm, but I do try to do some dirt work (road repair, brush work) around the family property. Like I told the last parts sales person I talked to "I don't have a farm, just a busted tractor". Keep up the content!!!

Great video Ross. You could put the tedder behind the 1250, then drag them out to your pasture. You would have a perfect cattle rub. Your cows would love it!

Use some of the permatex brand Right stuff. It will never leak. It's the only stuff I have used for the past 20 years as a mechanic.

Only 3 times? That is an odd number, a pair + 1. Two pairs will beat a pair plus one every time so you are not a winner yet.... I used to use #2 but got switched to Permatex Ultra. It can be smeared out like #2 but when you let it skin over it is ready to assemble and you would not have to wait. It is also great for sticking things like moldings back on, the stick on raised letters on a vehicle, or any place you want to repair. I used it to stop an exhaust lead at the base of the exhaust stack on one of our trucks where the DOT inspection failed it because of the hole. The inspector on re-inspection did not want to pass it but his boss said "No hole, pass it"

Have you considered trying to repair the generator instead of trying to figure out how to put an alternator on it. Squatch 253 did a whole series on alternator and starter rebuilding.

Ok , I have been forgetting,I wanted to tell you a story and a time long ago, when I was blessed to be on a good ol Oliver trencher chain belt machine, and I loved it , I sat on that seat for 3 miles of ditching 4 feet deep in rock hard Desert clicky( hard pan) thankfully it’s had a ratchet spring on the sprocket so if it hit something hard it would ratchet, I has a good time , at 3.35 per hour, thanks BigAl California

I can confirm that the water pump from a 315 will work. The 415 petrol I'm restoring had a leaky water pump and I wasn't able to find a new seal that wasn't leaking. Most if not all water pump seals for the 415 petrol are NOS and the rubber is going bad from sitting on the shelf for all those years. I ended up buying one for the 315 and removing the back plate. Fits perfectly. You'll need to reuse the nut from your old pump.

I actually never knew they made 4020s in gas models you probably need a big tank to keep it working
