Installing Two HUGE Turbos in the J35 Swapped CRX - Building a Boosted Honda for SEMA

- It's time to mount our turbos! Last week we got our J35 motor mounts modified and our very first turbo long tube header fabricated for the CRX SEMA build; and we got a UPS delivery just in time! Garrett sent over a whole ton of parts, from giant turbos to blow-off valves, to waste gates! And the best part? We have TWO OF EVERYTHING! That's because this high horsepower Honda CRX is getting the twin turbo treatment!
Before we get to placing our Garrett turbos, we have to get our intercooler in place. We had the rough placement mocked up, but with our new Garrett intercooler core, we're able to weld on our custom made end tanks and get our positioning finalized, so we know where to set our two turbos!
We also got a huge shipment of Ticon material to connect our turbos with some fancy V-bans to our custom J35 headers, as well as making some fancy down pipes with a whole ton of high quality pie cuts!
We only have a few more steps before our twin turbo system in the 800 horsepower CRX is finished and we're moving fast because @gooichimotors is brining this beast out to Las Vegas for SEMA 20224. Love this build. A titanium heat shield for the 3D printed water neck would be a nice touch.
Please do a traditional exhaust , maybe side pipes. That would be dope.

It's a skill that you can develop! The more you build stuff the more you start thinking ahead in your head. Thats how you start to prevent getting stuck on things you wish you had forseen.

@@CG-yh6js I'm no builder by any means. My thing is oem+ where I put together things from different models and build what I think the car should have come as. Or hard or rare to find oem parts. Hunt them down for my builds.

Great work, sick build. I am not a fan of hood exits. What if the waste gates had their side exit on the driver's side to match the exhaust on passenger side?

Y'all are making tons of progress! Hood dumps for the wastegates would be crazy, along with the side pipes. Can't wait to see all that titanium welded up too! I tried welding titanium for the first time this week, and man you definitely have some skills lol

So i have a question here. When u do a twin turbo like this are the length from the head to the turbo important? I mean the length of the header ofcorse. I always taught that in a v engine the exhaust should be equal on each bank🤷🏻♂️
