Between PV and Pump they played in Michigan close to a dozen times, coming through and doing gigs across the state at the beginning of the tour and coming back through towards the end. They Played Kings and Queens one of the nights at the Palace which I had never caught before in previous tours. I went to every show those couple of years. They were on fire. I love the shows from the 70s but these are a mature sober shows from a professional act that had been playing together for 30 years and you could see and hear it.

I was at this show. Section 10, Row 6, Seat 13. Great show, great time and first time seeing one of my all-time favorite bands. Hard to believe the ticket was $22.50. I think I spent more on the shirt and program. I just cost me over $1200 for 4 tix to take my wife and 2 girls (all fans) to Philly show on 9/2/23. My ass is now too old and fat, so now my 15yo daughter will be rocking my concert shirt from this 1990 show.
Yeah - Black Crowes were pretty good and on there way up for awhile- I saw Joan Jett about a year ago and half ago for the first time.It was a good show , thou not the biggest fan
I witnessed one of the funniest moments in the history of Rock. We were all waiting outside the concert, its mid day in Birmingham. There were a bunch of kids that were in mid teens hanging around. This dude walks up, with big hair all decked out. He starts talking to us. He asks, "does anyone want my autograph, I also have some picks with my name on them. THe mid teens, asked,,Who are you? He replied his name and said he was Joan Jetts guitarist. The kids replied, "No Thanks." Can you imagine the bust to his enormous ego. I'm so arrogant I need my name on my picks.
Saw this tour in Georgia. This is why I refused to pay for their $20,000 a ticket "farewell" tour. I've seen them like this for 30 bucks. You can't give me that at 70 years old.
