Just did Both My 2011 Rear Bags. Saved $2400. You should have shown the Nightmare on the Passenger Side where the Sensors are. No wonder they do This on a Hoist. Did both at once and had Zero Issues with Re-Calibrating. Cheers.
I needed to replace my rear air springs and the RR height sensor. I could not find the sensor for the life of me, and Hyundai discontinued the part. I am considering converting over to coilovers.
No. They can get unseated or cock eyes if you didn’t set the car down right- mine were (and still are fuck it) touching the sway bar when it’s all the way extended. I figure if it only touches when it’s extended then as long as I don’t go airborne it should be alright lol
Right I’d imagine it will be fine. There’s a slight bend in the air springs. What steps should I take to set the car down on the springs properly. I just put the car on the ground and the sensor automatically filled them.
@@ColdStartAuto that is awesome man! I found a 2015 signature with 61k on it, dudes asking 5,5k. I'm gonna try to see if I can get him to 4k cash lol. Hoping I can make some good profits lol. I might make a video on it

@@ColdStartAuto If you look back on your vehicle it is what’s holding the dust cover on. I didn’t know with is lowering and raising if that would affect it but I guess it didn’t. I’m about to do the full rear this evening. Your video has helped out a ton. There’s absolutely nothing on these cars
I am experiencing issues with my rear bags and plan to change them. Every time I cut the car off they drop. After you replaced yours did you have anymore issues with the rear going down or has the car stayed up with no issues?
Thanks for making the video. I followed your video on converting the air inlet under the hood to a Schrader valve but I seem to be unable to get the air in even at 175 psi. Any suggestions? I even have a diagnostic tool with the fill air screen pulled up but having no luck getting air to fill. Do you know the pressure you were using?
Hmmmm. No, I definitely didn’t put 175 in, as I wasn’t aware of the factory fill procedure. I simply started the car, and began to put air until the car was off the ground about where I wanted. I also don’t have a scan tool like yours, but is it still throwing any air suspension codes? I know once the air suspension ECU is mad and it has stored codes, it no longer seems to want to work with you. Edit: hence why I disconnect the battery and let it sit. It’s the only way I am able to get the ECU to drop it’s stored codes and work with me. I disconnect the battery, and touch the disconnected positive lead to ground and let it sit for a few minutes. I know it worked when I reconnect the battery, and the radio and clock are reset
@@ColdStartAuto Thanks for the reply, I do have ESC code on the dash from not completing the fill procedure. I will try the battery disconnect. Thanks again.

@@franksantibanez4825 I made this comment before, but you cannot have the ECS light on because the car will not turn the compressor on if codes are present
Hi I just replace 2 rear air bags on rear and was very ease. After installation I put the car on the ground I start the car and The car fill up by self .second attempt was level out . No modification on air port or fill with home air compressor.
You’ve got me on that one. You can cry contacting any of the strut suppliers and see if they can give you that information, I just used the supplied ferrules.

Where did you get the bags? Seeing 320 as possible price going to do this in the next month I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for video
Shock masters on eBay. I’m on the fence about them, next time I will probably go with RMT.
Shock Master bags are 140... they work just fine
Great video! Is there a video on the Air Suspension Compressor replacement?
Not that I’ve seen, it looks involved it’s behind the bumper cover
Hi after replacement the 2rear air bag you put the ignition in on(not start)and fill air with a home compressor?and if yes for how long?

The ferrule has to be slotted or can I just use a regular ferrule?
Hi thank you so much for the help. My air springs are touching the height sensor bar. Is this normal?
No. They can get unseated or cock eyes if you didn’t set the car down right- mine were (and still are fuck it) touching the sway bar when it’s all the way extended. I figure if it only touches when it’s extended then as long as I don’t go airborne it should be alright lol

Nope. My car stays up and off the ground, and hasn’t dropped and I’ve left it alone for a week or two before.

To fill up with air , should I put air on car on stands or , put the car on the ground and fill up with home compressor !
Tks
