No lie, I started learning Spanish recently (and this show was the final thing to make me dive into it) and I can actually understand some of what is going on! I understood a joke! Around 7:45, they are talking about how standup isn't very big in south America, and I think Fabrizio says they are like, 500 comedians (and then jokes, "like, 3 good ones" and they both laugh) competing over only a handful of venues.
Someone who actually understand spanish please tell me how I did with that. I keep putting these on after lessons while I'm doing dishes or some shit, and it is super cool when I think I understand what it going on. Nobody speaks spanish near me, so this is one of the only ways I can hear a casual conversation.

The main reason Argentinians speak with that "sh" sound is because of the minority languages of Italy that mixed with the criollo accent spoken in Argentina at the time the Italians were emigrating to the Americas. For the longest time, they didn't speak like that, but by the time you got well through the 20th century it had long assimilated into the Buenos Aires accent. You can hear the same thing with a lot of Italian accents because of the dialects spoken there.

I don't imagine they'll have massive views (yet) but as a spanish/north american who is very intrigued in comedy, this might be the straw that broke the camels back. You are discussing and educating your viewers on comedy in a way that isn't direct, but clearly shows the process and effort it takes to be a real working comedian. I haven't seen anything like it really, and seeing you learn and learning with you has been a very gratifying experience. Me encantas chamo! En English and Espanich 😂 you’re practicing and it’ll get better. Tienes que pronunciar mejor y hablar mas despacio. Suerte gonoreah. It’s a colombian term of endearment between buds ♥️ orrrr to insult someone as well ♥️

Aqui en Ecuador les decimos bollos, pero creo que la principal diferencia es que la base de los tamales es de maiz y la base de los pasteles de masa en general es platano verde pero tiene algunas variaciones.

Can't speak Spanish just here since it's the newest thing Tom has up . I Just wanted to say WOW!! GREAT Job on your part in the Movie COUNTDOWN. Had no idea you or Christiana were going to be in it an BAM there you are in all your assholyness and I'm Laughing my ass off and the movie is saved .m re⁵ Thank you Tom! Movies may not pay for your Jet expenses like Comedy but they put Eyes on you and in this case show Every Horror Fan What an Awesome Physco Comedian you are and how funny that makes you. So Please keep doing parts in Movies And maybey rethink the taking helicopters to jobs. I Think I heard something about them not being safe. Anyhow Thank you for all the content Tom.

🇵🇦 I am truly enjoying this podcast!! In Panamá tambien dicimom guineos. Which is a banana. But in South Texas(adonde estoy horita) the Mexicanos dice Platano. Which in Panamá is a plantain, los Mexicanos dice platano duro for plantain. Also nos dicimos "Chucha" como Chucha Madre! un poco diferente de Colombia pero es igual. I have these conversations daily about different words from different areas. Muchas veses la gente son del mismo pais y hablan completamente diferente. Mi padastro es de Lima tambien. Id love to call in with a short convo hablando de las palabras diferente de todos los paises. Como my Peruvian family never fails to end every conversation con "Chow". I love it the little things. I speak both languages (somewhat) fluently so its refreshing to hear you pull a me on me. Im supporting this podcast 100%. Porfa quidatse en estos momentos dificil so you can keep pushing out estos podcast tan kabron. Me encanta. O y tambien dicimos Chevere.
