They would have the deepest roster in the league if they got Richards, I think Reed wouldn't be a bad pickup off the free agency market, their depth at the moment is insane so hopefully they can get all the players to gel for the playoffs
I love it, man. I appreciate Melton, very unfortunate situation. He would have been great for this team, but he's broken. Schroeder Immediately fills a hole (pause), and we lose almost nothing to get a crucial position filled. Gotta start calling Dunlevy Jr. "Big Mike" from now on.
The only thing I have to say about it - I thought Schroeder will be traded for more… I think GSW did the logical thing - swapped an injured player with a healthy player, that some would say is better…
Trades can be so wacky. Schroder is an excellent player, but his value is a 2nd rounder. Same sort of thing with John Collins. Also, I feel as though Schroder needs to be on a team where can be the primary ball handler. He is not a good enough shooter off ball, nor is he big enough to be a valuable slasher. Throughout his career he always under performers with very good teams because they try to play him off-ball, but he shines with lesser teams where he is a true point guard. If Golden State gives him the ball in a way they never have done in the Curry era (and have Curry play truly off ball) then this could be something special. But I doubt they intend to change their play style.
@@BBallRambling I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he is the primary ball handler on this group. He obviously has to play their style to an extent though like you said.

If Warriors get a legit big, that can be like Mcgee and a star. They might legit go to the WCF. Pistons waiving Reed is making people nuts in Detroit. Fans overvalued him.
I don’t think he wants to or needs to be a starter. He’s the perfect 6th man on a contending team, so he can run the show and play a bigger role when Steph takes a break.
@@FlyWithMe_666 Oh no he’s made it public multiple times in his career he doesn’t like coming off the bench. Maybe it’s different now, but strategy wise even it makes sense to add him to the 1st unit.
U know i actually thought schroeder would be one of those 4-5 second round deals and he just goes for basically 2 thats a great deal for the warriors I can see why perhaps he went low because nets get an expiring they seem to want in melton, the nets drastically need to stop winning games asap, Schroders an expiring who might walk since like u said he wants to start but will probably come off bench.
