Can remember these ads like yesterday.Let's go back to the 80's! Whose with me?
Me
SHOTGUN!
Yep
I'm there!
I’m ready to go.
I wish I could go back to Thanksgiving season 1982! The whole year 1982, I want to be 19 years old again!
Me too! 1963
I was broke and only had a Commodore VIC-20, but I loved it!
I've never been a huge bar enjoyer, but if there was a Matrix-esque, Miller dock bar simulation, I would live in it immediately.
“In love with an older woman” lol. Clutching pearls.
I would love to go back and live it all over again!!!!!
Kroger, they left the Pittsburgh area in '85 after a labor dispute.
I was just going to ask if Kroger was still located there ...
Same in Northeast Ohio.
0:00 Those women's tops being sold for $19.99 back then would be $61.73 today adjusted for inflation! 😱
I was only 22 days old. I was born on november 2 1982.
The bumpers were awesome!!!!! I remember them so clearly!
I was 16 and living in Pittsburgh in November 1982, and honest to god I’m sure I was watching CBS that night. I remember that John Ritter movie, and since it was a Wednesday I was definitely home that evening. Holy shit that voiceover by Myron Cope during the Stop n Go commercial brought me home.
A very nice clean recording from 40 years ago
HUGE drop!!
Thank you.
I loved my Commodore 64.
The Mercury commercials of those years were surreal.
The Commodor 64 with 64 megs of memory! ha ha
Great night owl intro.
Kroger drumettes were the early iteration of the modern day chicken "wings."
82 what a year!
13:16 Okay, that Hills commercial was like a public service announcement, not at all like the bright, friendlier ones I remember from the '90s when they finally reached our area!
It was like a trailer for the horror films of the time.
Lol! This was first Thanksgiving! I'm so old
But none of us won't be around when it's 2082!
Eve Arden in a Playtex commercial? Genius!
6:48 Before I knew what a jalapeno was!
Horne’s Department Store? Who is working in the perfume department?🌹💙🌲🌲☕️🍩🥧🦉🌽🔥
They wouldn't happen to be at the gift shop in the restaurant north of Fort A.P. Hill, would they?
The year I was born 😢
two days before i was born thanks for sharing
Brand New Honda Civic $4,659. Amazing! Brand New Honda Civic today is $26,350! 5 times the cost in just 40 years.
Keep in mind that today's Civics are about as big as Accords were then, so you are getting more car for your money compared to back then.
The only Horner's I know about is the last surviving fast food restaurant chain in Port Royal, Virginia.
19:20 I remember David weis.
RIP John Ritter.
9:00 Oy and double oy!
Horne's! They bought out Strauss.
23:18 when you can’t afford a real station ID graphic.
❤❤❤❤
My father-in-law worked at the Crucible mill. Midland was a dump.
And we actually wonder why we're messed-up as a culture.
I blame Democrats
@@FUCKINGENIOUS *Demoblicans / Republicrats, two sides of the same poo-coin.
80s automobile designs were the worst in car history.
Blame the primitive CAD technology and the fallout from the two energy crises for the vast "box on wheels" designs. It made the mediocre sports/sporty car designs from that era look great.
I agree! I thought they were bad too.
OMG! On the date listed, retired NFL QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was born!
That stop n go commercial is gold.
15:12 great conversation starter 😋
The day before Thanksgiving in 1982.
17:59 Who reaches over a desk like that to pick up a phone?
A "well dressed man". That's who.
I was six months old when this aired.
where do you find these promos? like the HBO ones?
