Man vs Sea playtrough: A world with the maximum amount of ice and minimal amount of land and with 40 Civs and all oft hem are the netherlands. Can global warming remove land quicker or can they build it?

"Politics is for me the hard accomplishment of the duty", "I have a righteous spirit and I understand that love should follow these grades of preference: God, humanity, fatherland, family and the individual" Dom Pedro II, the magnanimous, constitutional emperor and perpetuous defender of Brazil
The Catalina Sea flooded because rising temperatures from climate change causes water to expand (think of how hot tea takes up more volume than cold tea). So a large body of water, even at a fixed amount of water, can increase in volume if warned enough. That said, I think the flooding of inland seas and lakes in Civ6 is an over estimate of what would happen in reality.
Do an Anglosphere Battle Royale. Australia vs Canada vs England vs Scotland vs the United States (Sweden, Norway, the Netherland, and Germany if you want to extend it to Germanic countries)
The interesting thing about your playthrough is the custom Mayans are the ones that go crazy with settling, but now that the official Mayans have released they are the ones that get huge bonuses for staying near their capital.
This would make for an interesting alternative history book. Perhaps one where Europe died of the plague and the Aztecs were able to utilize the invention of Iron that was going on when the Spanish showed up and stopped them before it could really be used
The Caspian sea could have flooded through thermal expansion. As climate change progresses hot areas become warmer and cold areas become colder. When it becomes warmer everything increases in volume as most of us learnt in chemistry class. This also holds for sea levels. Sea levels across the world are not equal. If you're from a small country like I am (The Netherlands) don't let people tell you that fighting climate change in your home country doesn't work. It does. Thermal expansion means that when you fight regional climate change sea levels decrease. Moreover, investing in climate is good for the economy in the long run according to the Solow-growth model of economic growth, it increases life expectancy, labour productivity, agricultural productivity, biodiversity, etc.
I actually found the long video interesting. edit: Also, I am a little bit disappointed that you didn't use the Thule civilization mod. Although, I suppose that it didn't have TSL for this map?
Be glad that Chachapoyas died quick Drew! Their unique ability is that their units will be invisible unless you have a unit adjacent and judging by how the observer mode works I don't think you'd be able to see any of their units :/ Also a game with just modded civs would be amazing!
What do you think of a historical colonization game. The Old World has all of its civs while the New World only has its native ones. Civs that were colonial powers in reality are set to deity while native civs are set to prince (If that's even possible to do). It'll probably play out a lot like the Old World match but resistance from native Civs could drastically change the results.
try "large Europe" map from ynAMP map pack with "floodable tiles: flatlands". Basically what it does, is it sets EVERYTHING within 3 tiles of a water tile floodable, except, you know, hills and mountains. And THAT is delicious, small lakes in Russia become seas, it's just great
I want to see the entire map flood at this point, I've been wanting this for so long since the underwhelming disaster portion of the expansion came out.
Go Brazil... as a brazilian myself i play a lós with Pedro, we have a really good naval unir around midle of the game, the Minas Gerais. Maybe that was the win factor to take South America, Thx for the video Drew.
Three things I never thought I'd hear: 1. "This Brazilian-Roman city has become a canal." (9:49) 2. "Europe is almost completely dominated by the Mayans." (11:29) 3. "Canada has carved their way into Western Africa." (11:40)
Really wish you'd use a loyalty mod so civs don't lose their capitol right away. Maybe there's a mod to set up where loyalty resumes as normal after turn 50-60, as I absolutely hate seeing so many civs from this and the past few videos just cease within 15ish turns. Honestly, any mod that at least helps out some...would be great! Give em a chance :*(
Australia is a new world civ since it was a bunch of natives living there for like 50,000 years and was only discovered by the Europeans in the 1700’s. Should’ve added them in.

Brittany means little britain, so its basically the uk and france at the same time
@@vanconguillaume6721 i think thats because he has a mod where cities are named after their location on the map not the civilization that settles them
