This one I had no real idea what to expect, and neither did anyone else on the trip. This was a small part of what Matthew was going to be doing on his upcoming tour de Mont Blanc challenge.
This particular section is the Col De Ferret, which took us from Switzerland into Italy, skirting Mont Blanc in the process.
Everything about this route was next level amazing!

I reckon you've outdone yourself , Andrew , they're some of the best views you've shown . Fantastic vid , can't wait for the next
Thanks Darryl, the views were even better than I had imagined 😍
Your sudden change of direction when the other fella stalled at the drainage bar was THE move of the day Andrew. Fantastic riding, fantastic views and i could tell you really enjoyed it...
Had to think quick on that one 😜
Glad my joy came across on the video 👍
In all the years I’ve been following you, your commentary on this edit gave me the impression you was having THE time of your life. Fantastic Andrew 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I need to do that route before I’m too old 😆
I was indeed having the time off my life!
I didn’t really know what to expect from this route, as none of us had done it before. When we got to the col, I was blown away.
That looks epic, can’t wait to go back to Italy & the Dolomites again next year😎
The Dolomites are next level for views 😍😍
smashed that one Andrew - great riding, awesome trails and views, cheers
Legend!
Thank you Andrew, that's one place I have ridden ! Very hard to look where you are going , as the backdrops are incredible ! I had an amazing time , like you seem to be ...get some Rosti
A very distracting place to ride 😜
Your description is accurate--that was awesome.
Glad you think so!
Cracking video as always and so so stunning - just wow.
Definitely a very different side of Mont Blanc to Chamonix.
@@McTrailRider thank you so much for this. Need to check this out
Riding in the alps is just something else! The views the trails it´s just amazing
It’s pretty special in the Alps😍
Fantastic video, that was a real pleasure to watch on the big screen, felt like I was there with you guys! Top. Effort on the climb. Looking forward to the next one 👏
Excellent! Glad your watching on the big screen too 👌
That looks mint 👌
a very enjoyable video. The longer shots really help transferring the atmosphere pretty well and are a welcome relief from the hasty kind of restless bike content that is common these days. Riding bikes is about the feeling and I can definitely see them in your videos.
It’s a difficult balance to get right. Clips not too long that people get bored, but not so short that you don’t know what’s happening, or you lose context.
Sounds like I got it right for you 👍
More fun in that direction! I rode from Couramayer over Col Feret then up to Grand Saint Bernard. A lot more walking involved.
Nice! I’m keen to go back and do the next bit too Couramayer, it’s meant to be even better than this bit.
Stunning area regardless of the direction😍
@@McTrailRider yep the balconette is stunning, a couple of ways down into Couramayer at the end of the ridge, nice steep tech after the traverse. Mont Blanc looms above you the whole way.
Nice to be reminded of what dry trails look like!
You got that right!
Excellent Andrew Awsome Viewing you guys shred those Picturesque trails! Alpine Heaven!😊🔥🤘😎🤘🔥Brilliant Quality Video👍
Alpine heaven is a good description 👌
That was awesome! And your riding was sh#t hot too👏
Appreciate it!!
Tremendous riding Andy. Smooth, controlled and fast. Well done. I did the full TMB some years ago and it is certainly an epic. I'm sure we did Ferret as I feel recognised the down hill. Great memories. Cheers..
I believe that this is part of the TMB, so you most likely did ride this section.
Beautiful scenery
It really is!
Class vid that dude. Amazing trails views n ridin bro. Luved it cheers
Glad you enjoyed it
Completed a trip from Chamonix to Chamonix, including this section. If you think the views were stunning, imagine the impact they would have on a pair of danish eyes.
I can only imagine 😮
Wow! Awesome views
Stunning for sure 😍
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
🚴 Great Stuff buddy enjoyed the video (🚴🚴🚴)👌🏴🏴👌
Thanks dude
WoW! just WoW!🤟
Cheers 👍
Wow so beautiful but you would not find me up there even though my sister lives in Zurich i will not be riding up there any time soon 😮
Maybe for a hike then? The views are worth it😍
Yes, that's more likely on my own two feet 👍🏽
Slightly scarred by the guys attire at the water bar
Great look 😜
At 1:20, what is the name of the app?
I think he was using Komoot, but I can’t say for sure.
Not sure I'd be comfortable filling a bottle right next to that guy's boabie!
That’s the Euro way 😂
😂@@McTrailRider
Amazing trails! If you pass from the island of Malta let me know 😊! I will show some nice trail 👌☘️
Unlikely manage, but you never know.
