Love it mate. Haven't been washing you for long. Back in the days, always enjoyed ur videos. Just good old school Go pro first person on the MTB. Ur still on it and in Scotland. That's beautiful. Delighted that ur channel got back on my recommendations.
Most people will tell us what *_not_* to do, and little of what *_to do..._* This is why we in general should do more of what most tell us *_not_* to do because mostly it's just them telling themselves it's impossible which most of the times are just lies. We'll never get anywhere without just placing both feet right into a challenge and gain our own experience, so you're doing the right thing in this video. Keep on pushing limits.
That was intense! Full credit for giving it a really good go. Great show of skills and endurance. If you don't have a go.... you don't know... Very well done mate v
Wow - big skills getting up and riding down that one Andrew, proper hardcore MTB for real! awesome video, big skills mate and oh yeh...great views :) nice one
I can't decide if I'm more impressed with you shouldering the bike all the way UP Ben More or riding (most) of the way back down it. Without doubt, it's one of the most relentless and arduous slopes of any Scottish Mountain. Never ending. Great video though, as always.
I think I've just watched a barely controlled fall, Absolutely insane but brilliant and watchable. I'll not be attempting to walk or ride it, I've seen it up close that will do for me. Fantastic effort 👍cheers.
Ten out of ten for commitment and endevour Andrew....but you never give anything less 👍 and you've ensured that all of us sane mtbr's will definitely not be attempting Ben More any time soon 😨😨🤣👍👍
Andy are you still using the hook a bike thingy , just wondering as shouldering isnt as fun as it used to be :) Fair effort on More though better than the 60 mph winds last I was up there
Years ago walked up Ben More - that was hard enough! Some amazing control skills coming down suprised didnt see smoke from brakes lol, Yeah wont be riding this any time soon but some things are at least worth trying even if not recommended, thanks for sharing!
I'm up in Scotland next month and would love to do a big mountain adventure type ride. That is not too hard to navigate. Any recommendations. A bit more flow that this one would be nice😂
Hi mc trail rider. Any chance on doing a video on a selection of rides what you recommend for us holiday goers. Location and difficulty and such. (Mc trip advisor) thanks in advance if you do one.
Is most of the weight difference between your Claymore & your Highlander II in the wheels? Sweet looking ride, by the way. I love Type 2 stuff like this.
@@McTrailRider aye yer not kidding. I walked it from the south over Stob Binnein. Even on the longer route in it was still hard going, similar weather too. I've followed in your tyre tracks a few times on Munro's, definitely won't be doing this one. 😀
Well that was fairly ridiculous. Would have been worse without the ability to endo the switchbacks. I had a proper, full on inversion on Ben More that made it unforgettable for good reasons., unlike the guy I passed heading down to find a motorbike had crashed at speed into the back of his parked car. If that's a DJI controller you can get a third party flip up screen cover that works as a shade in strong sunlight and also folds down to protect it when you throw it in a rucksack. It also covers the joysticks so you don't have to unscrew them.
Hey, Andy. I’m sure that you stormed past me on your hard tail, up the Kilpatricks (racks brain), 2011? Me, bright red cube, red anorak, ponytail down to my waist. So, will you be visiting the Kilpatricks anytime soon. Or insufficient gnar? If my knee wasn’t so tight, I’d approach from the car park at the devils pulpit. Sunny days👌😊👌😊
Hmm, I don’t think that would have been me. I’ve only been there a couple of times, starting in 2017 I think. I do plan on going back at some point though.
You're obviously a bloke who likes a bit of a challenge Andrew . That looked horrendous and in some parts pointless . Nevertheless it's now crossed off your to-do list . Make sure you check all the fastenings on the bike before the next ride
Sod that. One of the most strenuous hills I’ve done in a long career in the Scottish Hills. Well done.
It really is a brute of a mountain 💪
Ignore reply stuck on this page seeing if I put something on it let’s me out
Far too spicy for me, but great job riding that! Amazing scenery and photography as usual. Top stuff.
Much appreciated 😊

Wow! You have so got that drone geography lesson sorted! Amazing pictures, and WHAT a ride! Well done for staying aboard!
Wow,awesome ride coupled with some seriously amazing scenery
Great job andrew!
Glad you enjoyed it!

That looked like a good full body work out! The views were the reward I'd say, well done.

It’s an incredible mountain! I’m glad I finally climbed it.
Got to admire your willingness to give a go , but a plus that you're seeing views that most of us will never see ,👍
Not a great ride, but no regrets 👍
Amazing to be able to ride any of that. What awesome places you show us. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it

Screw that 😂 Well done Andrew. Great technical riding as always.
Cheers Jamie 😊

All or nothing😜 Now you know not to bother.

Thanks for the ride along. She was a molar rattler for sure. Walking away without an OTB is a big win. Cheers
No otb is definitely a win in my book.
Mr McT youve done it again. Stunning vid and it really does show your riding skills 🌞😎
Thanks buddy 👍
Epic yet again & why you are No1 on RUclips ❤️🏴
There’s making good videos, and then there’s pandering to the algorithm. I’ll just stick to the first one 👍
@@McTrailRider please do as your a natural and catering from the real consumer ;) 👍
Amazing footage
Andrew....that was incredible !! The first backdrop and drones shots were ...holy shit , moments for me anyway ! Thank you for that, agIN .
I’m super pleased with how that opening shot worked out 🤘
@@McTrailRider understandably Be well !!

I actually burnt my arm on the front disc half way down. They were cooking!
No one is ever going to accuse you of taking the easy route! I’m impressed 💪
There will be someone who will 😜
This is the kind of Mountain people climb for enlightenment! Great Video Andrew! your arms must have ached, it looked exhausting!👍
I did have an achy back the next day, probably from the climb to be honest.
Top effort there lad 💪, you should list your full pro setting in description awesome footage 👌
I really should
You don't ken until you try. You tried...and now you ken. Solid effort. Kudos.
Couldn’t have said it better myself 👍

It’s something I have considered for sure, suppose I better get it done……this year, maybe.
Fair play have it a good go not a lot of flow on that great photography as usual👍
Absolutely zero flow 😂
What cams did you use for this vid? and what drone? Awesome trip!
I’m fully dji now, Action 4 for POV and the Air 3 drone. I’ve audio got the Pocket 3, it’s amazing!
What's the hardest one you rode this one was very hard but great to watch
Is that this was the hardest one overall tbh
that was epic! Love the drone shots! Maybe the new Fort William!? 🤣
A downhill race in it would be interesting 😂
@@McTrailRider 😧
Yep won't be biking that one. Well done for trying it though
Yeah, don’t bother 😂
Is most of the weight difference between your Claymore & your Highlander II in the wheels? Sweet looking ride, by the way. I love Type 2 stuff like this.
Correct, the biggest difference is in the wheels and tyres. Smaller fork and air shock also help.
I still have nightmares about walking up Ben More last summer in horizontal raining. Can see the summit from my front windows in Castlemilk
The weather make such a difference, it can really ruin your day at times 😬
Yeah, get that f*cked. I've walked it before n never plan on doing it again, let alone on my bike. Well done for even attempting it.
It’s a beast of a hill tbh

Views are great. Fair play for trying it, but it looks one to walk ans nit ride for me.
Still it looks amazing. Well done. Thought you rode it well
Thanks buddy 😊
And you never got one shot of the wheel barrow! 😉 balls of steel. Fair play, that looked nasty on the way up nevermind back down
Nasty the whole way through 😜
You're shorts were Grey, mine would of been Brown 😂
Epic as Ever 🤌
😂😂
Well done Andy. Brutal
🤙
🚴 Great Stuff buddy enjoyed the Video 😉🤙🤙
Cheers Taffy 👍
14:13 I’m gonna get a beer 🍺 😎
fantastic views , looks a tough down
Both are true 😜
Amazing scenery
Very true 😍
Fair play to you man ..
Cheers
Horrendous means good yeah? Because that looks awesome

Inversion for the win 😍
The sun cover for the controller is a good idea. Not something I thought I’d have to consider until this ride though.
video highlights how much your riding has come on in the last couple of years.
Didn’t feel that way at the time, but I associate what you’re saying😊
Great looking video, spoilt unfortunately by the audio. I couldn't hear what you were saying. It's probably also, at least 50% my old ears!
Good effort man, not for me that one 😂
Me neither😂
The numbers on strava reveal how rough that really was !
Yeah, the numbers are impressive for sure.
....and, that's a pass for me - damn bro, you love the punishment 🤣
I do love a suffer fest 😂
By the way Ben Lui is a cracking climb but good luck cycling back down 😂😅
Yeah, I thought as much 😬

Arms must of knacked by the end of that 😂.
My lower back was a bit achy from the climb, but I somehow never get sore arms biking.
You looking damn lean at minute! Plus you must munch through so many brake pads and discs per year.
Slimmest I’ve been for a very long time, glad someone noticed👍
@@McTrailRider I'm not flirting...just so you know 😄
Yeah yeah, ok 😂
I’m in, you sold it to me 😂
😂 good luck 😜
Andy - Nutter! Great views though!
Haha, views were great 😍
You're obviously a bloke who likes a bit of a challenge Andrew . That looked horrendous and in some parts pointless . Nevertheless it's now crossed off your to-do list . Make sure you check all the fastenings on the bike before the next ride
This was maybe too much of a challenge 😂 The bike is solid, no issues 💪💪
I'm guessing this is how Brian felt when you took him out for his first taste of Scottish riding 😂
i walked down the entire descent with my bike once lol
Wow!!!
Thanks
I dnt blame ya for doin this 1. but fook dat lol u made it dwn n in 1 piece so bonus . Least it's ticked off the to do list lol .
Got it ticked off the list, not going back 😂
Ah you've misunderstood. When they said "mountain riding trail" they meant a mountain goat, not a mountain bike.
Haha, quite possibly
Not for normal people hahah... just mad hahah
😂😂
WOW! beautiful location ✌️❤️ to the World.
Thanks dude
Please make more of an effort next time, it's not about enjoying yourself you know.😉 8:42
Must try harder 😂
💭Do not recommend 😳😳🚵🏻 wow but again some beautiful views ❤️
