- A grief-stricken Linda Barton cried for her daughter Sabrina Dunigan, whose children are now gone after flames engulfed her East St. Louis home with all of her five children inside.
Im so heartbroken my nieces n nephew are all gone…Jesus Christ give my family strength this so sad 😭

Grandma and grandpa wasnt there thats a lie. They only used that excuse once social media got on top of the moms head for leavin them alone. Never did the chief say grandparents were present. Just the mom and they friend she left to pick up. She can get in alot of trouble thats why they saying the grandparents was there but i watched it live and wasnt no damn grandparents out there no where period!

I really feel bad for this kids I’m sure there are in heaven . It’s just angels.
My heart goes out to all affected by this tragedy. It brings back memories of my sister in law and her 5 children who tragically perished in a house fire on 9/2/06. It's something that doesn't just go away. My prayers to you all.

@@BossQueen thank you dear. It was a very traumatic time for us all. Dear children didn't have a chance at life. They were 10, 5, 4, 3, and 1years old. Their mother was 30. It's a miracle that my brother is still here. He wasn't there when it all happened. I'm thankful for that.

She left to pick up a friend at 3am...came back home house was on fire...the chief of the fire Department said when they arrived the mom was trying to get back in to rescue the kids but couldn't. Nobody was there but the mom and the friend when they arrived and i believe him! They the family later tried to say the grandma and grandpa was there with them they wasnt home alone but couldn't get any kids out...which is bs bc if im a grandparent im going to feel like ive lived my life...im going to be throwing kids out dragging them by they legs whatever i have to do for them to live. But nope didnt happen bc no1 was there w them kids. They only used the grandma and grandpa excuse after social media got on her line for leaving them home alone...never did the chief say 1time and it was live on fox2 news fire smoke still going out never said it was a grandma or grandpa present ever!!! I want justice for these babies...i feel this not the 1st time she left them to pick up her friend from work...this time it just went wrong i hope....bc nobody in the entire apartment complex was home just the kids idk but sad and yes they was home alone i believe it.

There is a youtuber that did a story on this, his name is justjay. You need to see it, after watching it the only sympathy you will is for the kids, not the adults, not even the mother.
There were previous claims of abuse. Their last apartment burned down 5 months prior and the mother said she suspected her ex to have done it but said this fire she thinks was due to electrical issues. It was her birthday that day the children died in the fire. She left after 3am and left them home alone and the fire was said to have been reported shortly after she left. No matter how the fire started, the mother is negligent and responsible for their deaths! I found this info after looking deeper into this as it didn't sit right with me.

God has gained five precious little Angels,, prayers for mom and family ,I lost a daughter and granddaughter and I know there's no words to take the pain away but just to let the family and friends of these little Angel's know that my family and friends have gotten each and everyone of you in our heart and prayers , we pray that God will give you strength and bring you peace in knowing that you all will be together again , may God bless you all. That is so irritating, everyone interviewed Know the mama left to enjoy herself and old grandma was in the “building”…they were up there alone and I am sure that’s why they died in a fire! Negligence is what that is! No excuses, the mother is at fault, granny is where in the building? She runs out and didn’t try to rescue her grandkids? Where were the fire alarms, to wake them they could have jumped to safety! They keep themselves done up, and no fire extinguisher? “I don’t care what people think” see the attitude, they value themselves, see my point! You can contribute to cover funeral expenses, the caskets are gorgeous but their story ended in a fire! RIP!

This wasn’t her first fire.
Life is so fragile . We can't ever take a single breath for granted. She woke with 5 children that morning and by evening all gone. Their life on earth so short but they are with Jesus for eternity. May their mama live a life that one day she can see them again. God bless their mama and grandma
The grandmother stated that the mom was ALWAYS with her kids... of course she was. I'm more than certain that mom/Sabrina didn't work and was using government assistance. A family of seven lived in a one bedroom apt.... Sabrina may not have directly hurt/kid her children but it was definitely indirectly... neglectful supervision.
You don't leave your children home alone at all, especially given the fact that they were all under the age of 10.
Sabrina was out on her birthday.... there's something wrong with this story, not to mention that this is the second fire within six months.

If the grandparents are in the same building, why didn't she just knock on their door and have them watch the kids? Something seems off when all go at one time. I hope they check autopsy to see what really happened. Picking up someone at work doesn't take that long enough for a fire to spread. So it says she tried to get in and rescue them but the whole time he was with her and nowhere does it say he tried to do anything. Or that she called him to help. Something is really off.

I said the same thing. It's very convenient that her last house was set on fire and she happens to leave at 3 am and out of all the other nights, the house catches on fire that night with all 5 kids locked inside. Who is so important that you wake up at 3 am to go pick up, they can Uber home. Especially when you have 5 toddlers at home you take responsibility. And she also had a 9 year old, I'm pretty sure that girl would be smart enough to unlock the door and wake the family up and get out because it's in our DNA to smell fire even in our sleep to escape. Seems weird that all the adults were able to escape but the kids. There's hundreds of stories of parents lighting their houses on fire to kill their children for insurance money, I feel like this was one of those times. Whether I'm wrong or right, you don't leave young kids alone in a house at 3am. I think she's working with the ex or fiance to set the house on fire for a cut of the insurance money. The fiance seems off looking down and away shows guilt.

I read she went out for her birthday dont know if that's true or not.Poor babies probably tried to fix something to eat. They said some of then were found in the kitchen. Respect,this happened five months ago where she lived before this apartment fire,went to drop worker home,come back to burning apartment,my state you can’t leave no child n home under 16 ,she don’t have any now,some say this don’t add up/i would need hospital for few days,cry uncontrollably

Nope🙅. All of the adults are just fine, not even small burn marks from trying to save one life but those BABIES are gone from a house fire in the SUMMER time, it's not even winter so what was the cause?
Could have been anything. Sounds like they were probably doing there own thing. Young kids always need to be watched, or an adult in attendence. Never know what can happen, and they are babies, they don't know what to do or often times unaware of trouble. I'm not shaming this family I just have heard of people leaving little ones before, and really anything can happen that you don't imagine. Poor babies, and poor families. Beyond imaginable.
