Oh, I am definitely paying attention to your poetry videos, Steve! 😉 Thank you for continuing to do these episodes even when you don't particularly like the poem(s) of the day.
I enjoy Dorothy Parker's observations on life, not sure I would call them poems, but like a number of Literary Figures- she had a larger than life reputation. People like Robert Benchley, HL Mencken, Hemingway, even F. Scott Fitzgerald towered over their works. I would even put Gore Vidal and the other mid-century misanthrope Norman Mailer as well.
I think a playlist is a great idea, but vets easy to say and sounds like a lot of work. Do we want less SD content, not likely! I to am loving this read through, qnd have the book. Coincidentally, the Penguin Classics Deluxe volume of Dorothy Parker came this week. Spooky, am I now foreseeing Steve's content before it happens? Have I gone witchy, nah too rooted in books for that. Thanks for this series Steve, it's fascinating.
I watch all of your poetry videos, Steve. They’re wonderful!
I’m always here, watching and enjoying your poetry videos. Do keep them coming.
Oh yes, I would love a playlist of these videos too. This anthology has been a lot of fun and I always love the poetry thursdays.
