I missed the part about locking in the end of e brake cable,it just drops down into the slot right,I am converting a 70 dana to disc,the e brake is similar,but the springs that come with kit are way to short,I can streach them,but kit builder offers no infor,one of those,you csn mskre it work----good video very informative
I want to convert from the inline 2.2 in my Chevy S10 to the 4.3 and want to upgrade the brakes from drum to disc, does MBM make a kit to do it?

The calliper holds the brake rotor yes. The wheels have nothing to do with it though.
very easy kit to install child's play I had my 13 year old granddaughter install them in an hour and a half
Once I install the caliper, it says you should be able to rotate the rotor freely. My rotors are not doing that. No brake press or ebrake installed yet. Anyone encounter this?

What holds the rotor in place?? is it just the pressure from the caliper and the wheels eventually when they're placed on?

Just go to the junk yard and get backing plates and caliper brackets and calipers off a 2000 or so two weel drive s10 or blazer and you are able to put disc brakes with little or no modification on yout 7.5 diferential.

ok sr, nice to learn this about rear axle disk brake conversion, but, i still have a doubt, i have a chevy suburban 1994, and i am interested on this system swap, am i just need to get disk brake, and caliper installation kit? or i need to modify brake pump? (master cylinder) in this axle model i just need to remove 4 bolt and just pull out both shafts., what can you say about it?

I just did a 4 wheel drum to disc and it wasn't that difficult
East squeeze, took me 1.5 hr.
Those e-brake cable are equal length and doesn't work for 87 caprice which has two different length, the factory e-brake spring is too long there should be and adapter to convert the two together.

I agree, this has to be the worst kit I have ever seen. Directions for installing the Step by Step or MBM Brakes couldn't be worse. Even the differential axle removal sequence was even close to the one depicted in the instructions. Save your money and purchase kits from someone else. Especially if you are installing the disks on rear. Emergency brake cables are missing the rubber grommets on the ends designed to keep water and crap out of the cables. The list goes on and on. Save yourself the headaches and go elsewhere.
All these videos people make show me just a vague idea of how this goes together not a step by step. Not very helpful. Though it is a little better than the manufacturer video because there's is totally useless
