I like how the Type 45 looks more like what I would have drawn as a kid rather than an old destroyer of WWII. Everything is oddly shaped for what I assume to be radar signature reasons, and it looks like a swimming sci-fi set piece. awesome!
My cousin started out as a Painter in the Pompei Docks, when he started back in th sixties there were 25 in his department, when he left to work on refuelling etc there were six left. However an awful lot of public conveniences were painted Battleship Grey in the 70/80s 🤔

You would have think they would have tidied them up a bit ,our navy has tended to be a bit scruffy these days ex dockyard painter

You'd only be tarting it up for departure, one week at sea would soon see that rust re-emerge.
With world events as they are, they are put to sea asap.
