I have the bronze version on the way. They introduced it last year. It's significantly pricier ($825) but I love bronze. Once I get rid of that annoying NATO strap it'll be perfect for me. I think this might be the completion of collecting for me. Where many people start from is where I'm finishing. 3 Citizen Eco-Drives, a Garmin Instinct smartwatch, and a badass bronze Hamilton. Done. I'll still gaze longingly at the IWC Pilot series though.
You broke the record for changing a strap to a watch in 1 second :D Congratulations once for the review and Congrats for the purchase, a sweet watch for a 300$ sweet price. I think it is a versatile and a classy design that can work from natos to leather Evan on a bracelet! Well done M!
That Vario is a nice strap. Shame you weren’t overwhelmed with it. You own an iconic field watch. I’m a bit underwhelmed with my Hamilton field since receiving the SWC Bunker.
I just got mine like 5 minutes ago! It seems like a really solid watch that should last the rest of my life. I will be experimenting with different straps.
You are going to find that you love this one the more and the more you wear it friend. And it matches your wedding ring perfectly - always a plus. Have a great day.
Yeah a lot of guys are not used to mechanical watches and they end up busting the winder. I go for 20 rolls on the winder which is good for 48 hours. Bronze Khaki here on in-house strap.
I have one of these and no matter what new watch I buy, this still gets a weekly wear. I’m an ‘aesthetics’ guy. I’m very lucky to own a few nice pieces but (ssshhh don’t tell anyone) I honestly don’t care about movements etc… I like watches that look good and this Hamilton just looks exactly like a field watch should look. No date !!! Yes !!! By the way, what’s the piece of music at the end ?
Great review. I think you nail the pluses and minuses. The “b-roll “ was fantastic! Thanks. Ps I love the brand’s history but I think they could up the game just a little bit and make this a great, in lieu of good, watch! Thanks again!
Hey Miguel, nice piece, have one myself for about 2-3 months. Guess what, the known winding issue on this mechanical ETA, not winding anymore. I sent it to another watch enthusiast to enjoy and don’t know how he wind it but it does not matter, stopped winding. Should not brake in 3 months. Going back to Hamilton. Disappointed because I really enjoyed this piece 🥃to you all
Great vid and unboxing man! I think its a bit underwhelming for me, I know we've had this discussion before, I just think for the money I'd probably go for a different watch. Love the combo on that Vario strap btw as well!
Dave, I was in the same camp my man. However I can’t take this off the wrist! It’s so freaking comfy and easy to read. This baby is not leaving the collection 😊
I just got a SWC khaki as my field watch. I would like to add a Hamilton as well. The OD green sail cloth strap looks the best. What brand is the strap please?
I was not impressed at first. However I have not taken it off the wrist since I bought it. This thing grows on you for sure. Thank you 🙏 for your support ❤️
It's beautiful especially when you put it on the green Vario strap... the B roll shots were beautifully done!
Thank you my friend!!

Great unboxing man, was finally able to catch it. The Khaki field hits a soft spot in my heart 😊
Thank you 🙏 ❤️

I regret selling this piece, so easy to wear and no idea what the song is called (sorry). Thank you for watching!
@SoCalWatchReviews oh no 🤦♂️ it's a great watch isn't it.

Thank you and the full review video coming!
Not bad, not bad at all. I had something similar when I served in the military.
It’s a great piece man!
Great vid man! I am enjoying my khaki mechanical very much so far.
Thank you and it’s a great watch!!

@@SoCalWatchReviews daaaaaang! Okay maybe it’s one of those “gotta own it to understand” kind of things.
@@DavidSchwartzjr yes definitely. It literally took me 1 whole week to warm up to it and now ❤️
What is the brand of the olive green sail cloth strap at the end of the video?
Blushark

Thank you 🙏 for the support, it’s from blushark.
Do you still own it?
No, I sold it a while back.
If I'm honest it doesn't sound like you loved it that much, Miguel. I predict you sell it and buy another diver. 😉

@@SoCalWatchReviews Great to hear! People seem to love these little field watches. I've never handled this model so I can't comment. 👍
Nice review
Thank you, the full review is coming 😉
80 hours is impressive
Yeah man!
