I like the front grill👌. People initially dislike change , but this looks different and exceptionally cool and stands out amongst the crowd because of its front grill. You’ll look twice and 3 times at this !! It’s brilliant
I love the look of the front end. The contour in the bonnet is just gorgeous. Your comments on VRT reminds me of years ago, my MINI R56S was in because it had the cold engine problem. I had a friend who also was into MINIs staying, and dropped her back to the airport in the courtesy car, a basic MINI One with no options. To this day, I’m reminded of her shock when she saw the price sticker in the boot.
It looks perfectly aggressive to me. Just as it should.. The grill (which im fed up of hearing about in every review - it really isnt an issue) looks amazing, its a beast. An angry one. Love it.

Great review as ever Nobby I like the seats and there's some note out of the engine at close to 150k that's mental in terms of the cost tho'I dunno how much it'd be in the North here. I do think the front if the car looks terrible. It looks like it hit every branch of the ugly tree when it fell out of it. 😂

That new Isle of man Green is warming on me....granted its easy to warm onto me when you take the rest of package into consideration. The new bmw front grille has been contentious and usually I'm opposed to change but I rather like it on it and the new 4 series. Granted your use of bugs bunny analogy was something I hadn't thought of and did make me go meh for a minute. 1 small pedantic thing is the backs of them carbon fibre seats look very plasticy and cheap
@@NobbyOnCars oh I could very easily live with them. Your last point about vrt and moving abroad is so valid. I live along the border and whilst I certainly can't afford a new m3, with all the latest vrt and import duty charges, I've worked out over my life time if I moved 20 mins across the border, the amount of money saved on car ownership would be staggering

Did you not have time to show us the boot, like? And, how many times do you have to say 'trust me!'? Good looking car - very weird at the back - looks like it's had a prolapse. Lovely colour, but outrageously expensive ownership both to buy and run.
Very critical comments coming from you towards nobby and his reviews. It takes a lot of time and effort to record and edit these videos. Give credit where it's due and ease up on the nitpicking eh?
@@tonwhelan Who are you - the thought police? I generally like Nobby's reviews, but it doesn't mean he gets it right every time, and in reviewing a car, to simply say, "it also has a boot" isn't especially instructive. I would have thought that was a fair enough comment - no?

Expecting to see the boot in a review of an M car, is the equivalent of watching a football match in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the dugout...

To be fair, the GR is something that seems a lot more achievable price wise and it is great fun but cannot be compared to this as a package. Unreal.
