- The holidays are almost here, so grab a cup of coffee, cocoa, or tea and follow me on a tour around our historic Victorian home as I share a close up look at my Christmas decorations! This is admittedly my longest Christmas Home Tour video yet, but I wanted to not only share my décor with you, but also share why the décor is special to me. I also listened to previous home tour requests & made the nighttime segment (with all the Christmas lights!) at the end a little longer too!
Our home is furnished with a blend of new and vintage furniture & decorations as I enjoy decorating with exciting new finds and treasured antique décor from the past. Each year I try to incorporate current Christmas design trends with classic traditional Christmas decorating for a warm, inviting balance of new and familiar. From rustic to elegant, ribbon to ribbon-less, each one of my six large Christmas trees are decorated in different themes to hopefully spark some Christmas joy to all who watch!
I've had so much fun this season decorating trees & mantels, working on fun Christmas diy projects & floral arrangements, and wanted to take the time to say a big THANK YOU to all of my wonderful subscribers & viewers! You all keep me excited to decorate each season with your likes & uplifting comments! I'm grateful for each and every one of you and want to wish you a healthy happy Christmas filled with warm memories & fun traditions! Though each Christmas may be a little different than the last, I hope there will always be merry in your hearts! Wishing you all a wonderful winter season & the happiest new year! :)

- Our home was built in 1898
- Peep is a yellow canary (and is about 3 years old)
- The paint color in the kitchen is Behr brand "Clay". Unfortunately I don't know the main interior paint color as it was this color when we moved in
- The elegant garland on the main floor fireplace mantel is attached with twine to the posts of the mantel. The rustic garland on the distressed white fireplace is attached to the mantel with small nails.
- Much of the ribbon & floral stems used in the trees & garlands are from Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Joann Fabrics, & Dollar Tree. To see a full list of supplies & where they were purchased, you can check out the individual decorating video descriptions - I try to include everything I can :)

I am sitting in the dark in bed, my husband asleep next to me, it is 12.45am in England, trying so hard to think of eloquent words to describe the feelings that go through me, when I watch your videos, and I can’t actually express my emotions, so I decided to just personally embrace how you make me feel, and be content with that. I am an older woman who has always loved decorated my home for all the holidays and seasons. But with the current minimal movement and our grown children encouraging us to move and scale down, I’ve been trying to do so. After seeing this video, it has made long for the past Christmas when the entire house was done with enthusiasm and love ❤️

Nothing to do with your home tour, but I wanted to tell you that this summer my grandkids rescued a tiny, nestling sparrow from their dog, and I successfully raised him. My granddaughter wanted me to name him Peep, but I chose Birbie instead. My plan was to release him when he was old enough, but it turns out he has a droopy wing and can't fly well. So he has made his home on my enclosed back porch for the duration, where he escapes from his cage and uses my now bent fig tree as a ladder. Anyway, all that to say that I never took the time to realize what beautiful sounds a sparrow can make.

I loooove the story about the jingle bells your grandparents made for you... those are the BEST Christmas ornaments/decorations! The ones that have a story! I wish I had some sort of Christmas family heirloom, but I don’t. Well, memories are always being made and maybe something that I love now, I will look back at in 10 years and by then it will have a story.

I used to put up multiple trees… all fully fluffed, lit, themed, etc. but then 4 years ago Saxon came in to our lives. He is an Irish Wolfhound and weighing 180 pounds with a long tail, can swipe stuff. Not to mention the height and ability to counter surf. So your videos have been a blessing and a treasure. I know that one day the trees will be back… but honestly I would trade them in a heartbeat to keep Saxon with us forever.

Hey ... I like my Christmas tree too... I made some homemade ornaments with my family and every year I buy a Santa Claus to my mother due is her B-Day @24th... Hand painted some ceramic painting even made a Portrait of my mother Favorite Santa ! SO CUTE !!! and buy some vintage ornaments so gorgeous from the thrifts store... I understand him about décor ...so my house take Christmas seriously and very sentimental

Oh Chris, you are my brother from another mother! I love vintage post cards, owls, mice and fine wood details etc. The house looks just stupendous. And every tree and garland is magnificent. I was blown away so many times watching the video. Hope you, Tim and Peep have a magical Christmas 🎄. Someday I would like to see a video of you and your brother reminiscing about your lives. The Christmas paper, I remember it when I was young girl. Beautiful home.
Me too! Sometimes the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts would sell boxed cards and wrapping paper door to door. I remember doing it when I was a Girl Scout. You would have a catalog of samples and people would order. They were so pretty!
I remember some of the Christmas wrapping paper as well from the 1950's.

What an exquisite home tour. You have so much to share, your decorations each hold such endearing memories. Camera footage and lighting were excellent, background music perfect along with your soothing voice. The only thing I didn’t like was that fake poinsettia. It took away from an otherwise flawless Christmas video . The night scenes were over the top. What a breathtaking presentation.

So beautiful, a feast for the eyes. My late husband and I spent many hours collecting things similar to what you have. We almost bought a house like yours but the location was shabby. For 9 years we owned a hobby farm. The house was a spacious Dutch colonial, not old but we decorated with collected items we got at garage sales. Now I reside in a small Cape Cod home built by my parents for retirement. I have down sized but have kept things most precious. Thank you for sharing your magnificent talent.
