Putting this here in case someone in the future say that Ling Yang (Wuthering waves) is a copy of Gaming and vice versa. They both were in beta when they were developed so none of them could have copied each other even if they wanted to (Gaming was being developed while Ling Yang were in an unreleased game) That aside he seems fun to play if you have xianyun and finally i can Xiao without Xiao
Ling yang isn't a copy imo. Sure they're very similar but they're also very different. Gaming is a pyro claymore user with specialization in plunging attacks while from the looks of things ling is a brawler type, using punches and kicks alongside the tiger head.

Lingyang already existed in WW CBT1, with his original design, which was a furry called Awu. CN folk didnt liked him and they had to redesign him to how he looks now, so yeah, Lingyang/Awu literally exist 9 months before Gaming was even in beta. To be precise, none copied anyone, ofc, they are completely different characters that just share a real Life cultural theme, yet i STILL see a LOT of Genshin fans saying WW copied Gaming, so if we go down with that dumb logic, Gaming is the one that copied Awu cuz he is literally 9 months older. But Genshin fans will always be Genshin fans..

I put him in Shimenawa's and he was dominating. However, you'll need to make sure that you use ult before skill and it will take 3 plunges before the passive activate.

Came here to check more guides on gaming, i tasted him today lvl 80 not ascended with talents 4,6,7 and wolf gravestone as his weapon lvl 80 , i tried him in vaporise and i was surprised when i saw a 200k per burst and 50k per skill , i was so shocked no 4* of mine did so much before, he is c0 and had crimson witch as his set , i had the other set of fontain on him too but it didn't have enough crit rate so i tried crimson with elm sands ...this character is cracked and i didn't expect it at all 😭

Building a character can be difficult especially when you have set opinions but crimson works pretty well on him , I would like to show it to you but idk how TT i can describe what I use ln him though? I have a crit damage crown on him , a pyro bonus with crits on it , a feather with crits , and elemental mastery sands ( the set is crimson with wolves gravestone as a weapon as I said ) his attack is around 2,000 somthing since I ascended the weapon had some luck with the set and got good energy recharge around 130 ??? I think?? I mean it's not that much but not that bad his burst gets ready fast so might be more than that I haven't checked, I use him with furina ,Bennet and mona , he is kinda vulnerable when he hits so I use zhongli more than Bennett mine has around 21 k hp with dubble hydro otherwise his hp isn't so good and I wish I had more hp because his skill needs above 50% hp to give attack bonus and furina might not help here because his skill and furinas drain his hp ...so if not furina just use mona zhongli Bennett/ or another hydro like yelan idk her burst can still buff him , i personally use him in vaporise so i make sure i have a hydro in team and i use kazuha for the buff instead of a dubble hydro i use gaming furina zhongli and kazuha , in case of dubble hydro i use gaming furina kazuha and mona this was the team i used to get 200k ( sorry for the long description) hope it helps !
I am an f2p and it was the luckiest lantern rite for me as I have a c6 gaming. This video helped a lot❤. But still I am lacking the support characters that you mentioned.
i tried getting faruzan c6 for my wanderer and xiao, but instead got her c4 and gaming c5... i might as well bite the bullet and get his c6 from the lantern rite and use him, i usually dont like using 4* main dps characters but he seems fun and i just got xianyun so they will combo nicely together
candace skill doesn't override his pyro plunge during skill, so every other plunge can be the hydro application, with the next plunge being the pyro hard hitter. OR vice versa
@@9es3266 overriden if u use another pyro who has an off-field mechanic(Xiangling) as well or use kazuha burst(infused pyro) Before casting kaeya burst. Use his Skill since it has strong Gauge to cleanse pyro out of all cryo units and each of his burst apply independently.
Rosaria is fine but no one seems to want to mention the fact that her only cryo application is the small field that doesn't move. So if any enemy steps outside of it, the team is just useless. Layla and Diona are also pretty good for Gaming as cryo appliers. Diona: - Gives 200 EM at C6 which is huge damage increase. - Provides shielding and healing - Decent applier of cryo Layla: - Has incredible synergy with Gaming due to E.Skill spam - Great applier of cryo which moves with the Gaming - 4pc Tenacity User - Provides good shielding I'm currently using a lvl 70, C3 Gaming with R1 Unforged in a team with Xianyun, Diona and Layla. He's hitting up to 150k. No food buffs or special enemies.
Finally got him at C6, now i finished building him, he's at 63/261(marechussee activated), with his c6 he's at 83/301. Over all, he's at 3.1k atk, 115 Em, 83/301 with 112 er%
I'm curious why no one is talking about the Talking Stick (pun intended) as an option since it actually makes sense with his kit (since he briefly affects himself with Pyro and can gain the ATK passive, not to mention how often he's paired with Bennett). Is it really that forgettable of an option?
If it's considered "meh" because of some meta assumption, theory crafters just never think to use it again. It definitely should work well. Would just need testing on how well.
Sounds like a good option. Although beware that atk isn't as valuable on Gaming with Bennett and/or Xianyun because they already give him a lot of atk.
I'm happy that Hoyo didn't make the same mistake with 4 stars in Fontaine as they did with 4 stars on Sumeru (aka being absolute DOGSH*T). The 4 stars in Fontaine are great even at C0, and even BETTER at C6. I'm using both Charlotte and Chevreuse at C0 and I love them! Thinking of building Gaming too!

I like to use double cryo for melt charlotte E hold and layla can both upkeep the cryo application and melt every time Its pretty fun and Charlotte's cryo ticks and adds cryo before the attack happens
Is Hunter set really the best artifact for him? It only buffs NA and CA, and Gaming mainly deals plunging atk. I'm thinking on using Crimson set on him since I might just use vape/melt comp for him.
It's not the best set for him since he can't really utilize the 2 piece effect, however the 4 piece effect helps players to balance out his crit stats more easily
With that being said, Crimson Witch is definitely his best set since he can fully utilize it. and of course if you can get good crit stats then that's even better
Since kaeya ult follows the active character and gaming is pyro, the cryo aura will get overwritten by pyro faster. Same goes for rosaria but if you can time gaming plunge after rosaria ult ticks, that’s like guaranteed melt 6 times
Since the 2-set effect of Massachusett does not work for Gamin. How do you think of Gilded Dream, as plunge atk has no icd, both 2-set and 4-set effect give em and atk, which are both effective for him.

Please yall do NOT get a crit rate circlet, It's just better to be better off with a crit rate weapon (REALLY recommend serpent spine) and marucheese crit dmg circlet, along with good substats, you'll be all good to go.

Just got Gaming as was pretty happy. Xianyun was my first even 5* (tried for Raiden but not luck in 4 or so 10 pulls, but I did get a few Bennets and a couple Chevs so I was still pretty lucky), I got Gaming on the first pull on the Nahida banner (since i already got Xianyun I figured i would put in one on the other banner but I was really hoping for a Gaming). I actually got another Noelle too on that pull which is nice (and I think I got a Kirara too, but I think was was on the FTP banner). BTW, how can I get a Favonius Greatsword?
60 pulls done and all I got was 2 faruzan and 3 Noelle with 1 great sword. I got gaming from lantern event and is C0 I was expecting him to be c3 at least 😢 And sad fact is I already have Noelle c6 and fully built.

Gaming ngl is my first good character with having him c2 and me being a relatively new ish player I was easily able to clear my level 35 ascending domain in 2 try’s when it took me like a week on my gfs account and she has way better characters then and had been playing way longer

Marechaussee Hunter is stupid good because it provides 36% crit rate, which Gaming can easily obtain by himself. If you don't need the crit rate, then Crimson Witch is a good set.
@StepcurryNgPinas The 36% crit rate is valuable enough that you can forget about the 2pc effect. The 2pc is almost a luxury on top because the 4pc is basically a second crit circlet. It's like Deepwood Memories. A lot of supports run it not because it provides dendro dmg bonus, but because it reduces target dendro resistance (You can see some cursed recommendations where Zhongli is wearing this set). Same logic for Viridescent Venerer to an extent.
No but if you're using him in a Xianyun team where you'll be doing normal plunges between his skill plunges then you'll want to level his normals anyway

what i see is a pyro heizo, really fun boi, big pp dmg, just a 4*, working very similarly

Since Kaeya's burst is following your character, you might lose on some Cryo application while jumping in the air.
on tall enemies like some bosses, i could see an argument for kaeya to be better here. though on most other cases i'm not sure.
Since kaeya ult follows the active character and gaming is pyro, the cryo aura will get overwritten by pyro faster. Same goes for rosaria but if you can time gaming plunge after rosaria ult ticks, that’s like guaranteed melt 6 times
Since the 2-set effect of Massachusett does not work for Gamin. How do you think of Gilded Dream, as plunge atk has no icd, both 2-set and 4-set effect give em and atk, which are both effective for him.
I'm surprised nobody is recommending the Talking Stick for him since Gaming is able to inflict Pyro on himself and active the weapon's passive easily.

Please yall do NOT get a crit rate circlet, It's just better to be better off with a crit rate weapon (REALLY recommend serpent spine) and marucheese crit dmg circlet, along with good substats, you'll be all good to go.

Just got Gaming as was pretty happy. Xianyun was my first even 5* (tried for Raiden but not luck in 4 or so 10 pulls, but I did get a few Bennets and a couple Chevs so I was still pretty lucky), I got Gaming on the first pull on the Nahida banner (since i already got Xianyun I figured i would put in one on the other banner but I was really hoping for a Gaming). I actually got another Noelle too on that pull which is nice (and I think I got a Kirara too, but I think was was on the FTP banner).
BTW, how can I get a Favonius Greatsword?
60 pulls done and all I got was 2 faruzan and 3 Noelle with 1 great sword.

Gaming ngl is my first good character with having him c2 and me being a relatively new ish player I was easily able to clear my level 35 ascending domain in 2 try’s when it took me like a week on my gfs account and she has way better characters then and had been playing way longer

Marechaussee Hunter is stupid good because it provides 36% crit rate, which Gaming can easily obtain by himself. If you don't need the crit rate, then Crimson Witch is a good set.
@StepcurryNgPinas The 36% crit rate is valuable enough that you can forget about the 2pc effect. The 2pc is almost a luxury on top because the 4pc is basically a second crit circlet.
It's like Deepwood Memories. A lot of supports run it not because it provides dendro dmg bonus, but because it reduces target dendro resistance (You can see some cursed recommendations where Zhongli is wearing this set). Same logic for Viridescent Venerer to an extent.
you can compensate that back with extra crit damage. U can use hunter set if your artifact have tons of CD. 36% Crit rate is alot.
