So I know this video is old but for anyone who needs some tips, I got you. First, if you don't want 80's bangs with a lot of volume like that, make sure you blow dry the root of your bangs flat first and then use the round brush in the middle to give the curl effect at the bottom. Second, ALWAYS have the nozzle on it on the blow dryer. Somehow, someway your hair is going to touch the it and it's going to fry your hair. Third, if you can't figure out the blow dryer and round brush method, (if you can) invest in a blow dryer brush. They are so nice. Hope this helps!! ❤️
Oh my gosh! Finally I have found someone who has the same struggle with a blow dryer and getting my bangs to behave without splitting!!! Fighting a cow lick too is a nightmare, LOL!!!
If you make sure to point the hair dryer down the hair strand instead of up the hair strand you will get a straighter bang and it also won't go frizzy because you're closing the cuticle
You should use a hair dryer brush like I have. I am very smart girl that I blow dry my bangs a lot. I had bangs when I was 16 on April 28, 2023. I got my bangs removed when I was 7 in mid 2014, because it's getting long.
Finally found someone with the same hair texture/thickness and low maintenance preference as me! I’m getting my hair cut for bangs cause i’m thinking it will be better so the longer hair is out of my face? i’m sick of tucking it behind my ears. thoughts?
I know the problem when u are trying to regroup the bang so it can be together. The bang has to be wet and the bang has to dry straight cause here u dried it in two pieces so it couldn’t be together u know.
I literally just got bangs today and I'm totally like going crazy trying not to touch it ..keeps hitting my eyes...I always wanted longer hair but I only have split ends..I just got this conditioner from my neighbor who I actually am suprised since u only used the shampoo but now I have the conditioner..but hoping to learn tips to handle my bangs. I just used the method I was shown at the saloon...but I'd love to learn other ways to style my bangs...it's not wispy or curtain but just like basic from like an inch from the front bangs.god I need the help
please, don't leave your hair in a towel for so long❤ you wanna keep it in that fragile state as little as possible! sending positive energy and thanks for the honest approach 😚🤘
Hi, I have a classic bob with bangs. I usually apply mousse all over my hair, and then comb all of my hair back over ears. and separate my my bangs out over my forehead. Then, I use a round brush and wrap my bangs under and blow-dry them. They come out like you wanted them to, straight and full across my forehead. Then I just blow-dry the rest of my hair into a straight bob with the ends bent under. I spray it with a light blast of hairspray and I am set for the day. I think some of your styling tools are too big for you to get control of you technique.
I wash it almost every day, I've experimented with washing it less and at one point in my life even cut back to only washing it every week or so, but I feel like washing it often is the only way to get it to look how I want (especially now that I have bangs). unlike in this video, I rarely use heat on my hair (now I only blow dry my bangs and let the rest of my hair air dry), so I'm not really worried about damage!
You need to blow dry in the direction of your hair, over the curve of the brush on the other side, you're blowing "against the grain" essentially, which is causing the hair to blow everywhere and it's also blasting against your cuticle which isn't good for the health of the hair and will cause frizziness

OH use low heat when styling bangs as well. The lower the better

i relate to this video sm styling bangs is so hard
I just got bangs like 5 mins ago it looked bad at first now I love them!
The blow dryer should be facing downward so it doesn't make your hair go everywhere
Mine works better going up lol
I'm so glad I came across your video. I'm still struggling getting my bangs how I want them. I always get the long pieces in it too.!

getting bangs today and i have 0 hair knowledge, truly only ever just blow dry and put it up in a bun so. this video was perfect.
What a human total fun 😂😂 felt like myself on RUclips 🎉❤
I found it helpful to brush from right to left / vice versa to make the two halves crossover each other and lose the middle part

i have to straighten my fringe every single morning. It gets greasy in 2 days and my hair is wavy

I'm so lazy i'm not doing nothing with my bangs i just brush it down in the morning and that's all 🙂😂
Me too
I let them go to the side because idc lmfao i only get them styled at a salon.
Try first blow drying your bangs from side to side and then use a roundbrush, this might help with the split.

From what I have learned with my bangs (I'm still learning since I'm at a young age) your hair might split because it has to be trained to not split
You have really pretty healthy looking hair! Wow! 😊
14:00 Seriously thought the brush was orginally half a brush for a purpose. 😆
curly girl method is giving me Stevie Nicks vibes

Your bangs are really pretty :D
I watched another video where the lady blew dry her hair back and forth, side to side… her bangs didn’t separate at all!

I have curly hair yesterday got bangs my sister did it😐 and I dont like my bangs anymore
Blow dry side to side not straight down
Do you wash your hair everyday normally or just in the video? Coz that will damage your hair 😓
