Hey Patagonia Aus! I think you should totally check out the Rising Tide activist group in New Castle NSW. They’re organising a huge (3,000 people strong, 30 hours) on-water blockade of the New Castle Coal Port in November. There are a lot of similarities to the Big Oil Don’t Surf campaign and I think your support would boost the profile of this new campaign. There will be an undeniable national media interest when this event occurs so a good bit of branding for you guys too ;)
Thanks @zephyr761, We, i.e Rising Tide are working hard here in Newy because it is already looking like it's going to be one of the biggest single civil disobedience events in Australian history. We have been traveling around East Coast cities and Adelaide to drum up participation and support. Each city has committed to turning out in 100's so it is definitely looking like it is going to be big. Now we just need some funds to make it happen so thanks for your call out.
Spirit of Morning of the Earth, surfing in a larger context, the matrix of nature.. a kind of freedom: who says ya gotta garden in rows, or even stand up on your board. Once you've proved yourself, like Rasta, like Yvon Chouinard, the next step is to somehow help possibilize a rewarding life for all.
@@holly1391 🤙Dave Rasta had his visiting surf buddies over to ceremoniously watch it.. i got to see it in the Redwood High auditorium in Marin.. struck a chord in the culture.. a lot of SF locals "went North" 😂
I don't see how a garden like this rings with total utter neglect. Not enough perennials in there to make that possible. Great garden though. And indeed a shoutout to Mark Shepard!
Surfing and music are epic in this
