April 12, 2022. This is not a fixable issue and everyone is experiencing it. We have to wait for RUclips to address the issue.

4/12 2022 and unfortunately none of these fixes have brought the YT menu bar back. For me, I can click the 3 lines to open up the youtube menu bar but it's entirely blank when it comes up. Maybe this is some new version of the problem.

The side bar is blank when opening with no listings at all such as favs, history etc. Zoom makes no difference. I am clicking on the 3 lines by the way.

Looks like the recent issue yesterday was a RUclips issue, and nothing in this video would resolve it. Thank goodness they fixed it by last night. Annoying how something as basic as that can suddenly fuck up.
It looks like youtube is working on a fix, this is a widespread issue they just tweeted about it 2 hours ago

The sidebar and all personal info are completely gone from RUclips on three TVs and my computer. When I click on the three tabs (hash marks) in the left corner a blank side bar comes in. There is no signin feature available at all. The computer shows my personal image badge at the top right, but when I click on it the loop circles just spins. The problem is identical on all my devices except my phone where RUclips works and everything is as it should be. My phone is on the same Wi-Fi as all my other devices. It's the strangest experience I ever had with RUclips. It also works fine on my ipads. Just noticed the newest posts LOL - evidently RUclips took poop. 8 minutes later it's fixed on my end, just had to refresh. Gotta hand it to Google, they fixed the problem pretty fast.

I tried everything you said and my sidebar still won't show. I also cannot log out of youtube. When I click on my photo to log out, nothing drops down.

I have nothing on the left hand side, no box menus like you have. my left side is just all white area, when i click on the 3 lines. I get a light gray box around all the videos on the right of it " just like this at 0:54". I have wiped out my RUclips cache and restated my browser. My menu's were working just this morning.
It has happened to many of us.

@@janeyablakemore3797 I also noticed before it went bye bye. That when i had videos in a list to watch. When i went to delete one i watched, it would pop back up again as if i did not delete it. Then going back out into the main menu, i notice the side bar menu was gone completely :(

I've done all that stuff, but videos are quite big in the very middle of the screen, at the top. This just happened a couple days ago. I couldn't find the comment section because all the videos that are supposed to be on sidebar, are below the videos. How do I fix that? I have to scroll way way down to get to the comments now. I have no clue what I did wrong to have this happen? I've done all your video explains but it's still the same :( Waaaaaah! Help me please?!

Wrong, cache, cleared, cookies, cleared, left sidebar drops down but is blank, account menu drops but is blank you seem NOT to have addressed the issue. Seems it's a YT issue which many are experiencing.
So this is not to help with the current issue, on any browser, logged in or not, there is nothing. Seems there is an issue with RUclips, as well as comments not showing. That is I will see 6 replies to a comment but when I click to open the replies I only see 2. Top that off RUclips auto delete when posting links in comments even to other RUclips content. This is random.

My navigation icons are showing some other symbols than usual. Beside "Home" the icon is showing some symbol instead of "Home" icon. How to get rid of those symbols and restore old icons?
It was the Zoom set high as I am nearsighted. Control - pressed together brought down the Zoom and fixed it. Thanks!
Ok, zooming out DOES move suggested videos to side, with comments directly below the displayed video, but I'd like to KEEP my screen zoomed, and get suggestions moved to sides. Any way to do that? (And I can't see those 3 vertical dots to the right of my sign in blue circle. Is getting those 3 dots a matter of exactly a person signs in?)
Thank you sir for your simple trick of changing zoom option. I could not see comments earlier too but now I can see comments and the side bar just by setting zoom to 90 percent. I have a different problem though. My playlists on my sidebar is gone.
In your sidebar you can see the "show more" below the Liked Videos.
I don't have that anymore. And it's not just in my PC. It's also in my phone. My account.
I can still go to my Playlists by going to my channel>playlists but it just takes much longer compared to before.

@@rachael6855 It just fixed itself later on. I was told in the YT forum that it's a bug of some sort. So I think there's not much to do but wait for it to get fixed.

I tried your methods but does not fix my problem. (Clear cache/history. Reset zoom. Fresh install Chrome. Disable all extension.)
When I'm in incognito mode, the side bar has no problem
But when I login in incognito mode, the problem appear.
I tried firefox with my youtube account, same thing happen.

If you click the DEFAULT VIEW ICON on the right bottom of your video, your right side chat etc. will appear again. No need to use incognito. No clearing cache etc.

I cleared all my cookies but I still have issues with the sidebar and captchas won't load. I tried specifically going to delete the RUclips cookies but the menu won't even load anymore. I really hope whatever is going on is serverside.

I had a different problem. I did not have anything show up when I tried to look at either the right or the left panel. I cleared cookies, cache, history, rebooted the system... etc.
No fixes seemed to be working.
Finally, I deleted the bookmark link from my bookmark bar, and when I opened RUclips up directly from the browser, everything worked normally. My panels worked again, so made a new bookmark link that functions properly.
I don't know what I did that caused just that one bookmark to stop working. I've checked all my other bookmarks just to verify, and the only one broken was RUclips.
You know what you're doing. Some ppl too scared to delete anything.

Nope, thied 15 times and never worked. Can get right bar when open you tube from google link, but when type tou tube itself, right sidebar or menu never opens. Watch 10 "Sure Fixes" reset, erased, reload, cookies, all othe nonsence, just made who computer scewed up then. I think this did thic couple years ago. It's this, 500 step instructions never work.
Example, it's easy to read a car code on a Ford. Free Forscan app, and $14 dollar amazon plug in cord. Once, get a code, engine light. Either google, you tube, or some car site, 1000 word, 6 page fix. "Volt meter 1Xy'w3APEU C READING, measure this and that vacuum psi, tear off intake, take this and that apart." You know what it was? I turned out to be a loose gas cap. Last line of his 6 page was, "Or loose gas cap," After 6 pages, 100 words, hours of taking car appart, renting 10 tools. I know this You Tube thing happen before to me, I gooled for days, then caught the right answer in a simple post. It was reeal simple. I had a teacher in school long ago that said, "When you read anything, read last page first.

I am looking at your homepage and I can see the tiny little scroll arrows top and bottom on the extreme right of the screen, and the scroll bar between them, whereas my tiny little arrows top and bottom have disappeared, and I don't like having to click my cursor onto the scroll bar to move the page. it is not a zoom issue. I HAVE noticed that when the homepage first comes up the tiny scroll arrows are there with a square looking scroll bar like on your homepage, but then it doesn't stay that way and it goes past that and I end up with a scroll bar with ROUNDED ends, and the tiny arrows have disappeared. I haven't been able to find a solution .

@@lf4193 I've spent hours trying to figure it out. The RUclips pages seem to be set up for mobile viewing - tiny scroll bar and no arrows. I'll let you know if I find an answer.

Even my notifications box has this problem, only worse. I've been having to use the Tab button to navigate/scroll beyond what is visible.
I see that you all experienced this 5 months ago; please update here if you are able resolve it.
In the meantime, I guess I'm limited to using YT in Firefox.

Thats not my problem. My history is on, and I am not incognito, but it wont show the progress bar on the sidebar videos, so i have no idea which ones ive watched
There are no 3 lines, there is no right side menu. Only thing showing on left side is my name, search and home. That's it!

Okay most of the time these arent the case, everyone knows that you have to hit the three lines to open the sidebar and you have to sign in to get activity, and plus you would still have it loaded.
clearing the cache did NOT solve it, nor restarting the app, nor restarting the computer.
Why do RUclipsrs keep asking "OK?" We can't answer you - it's not a conversation.
