1987 Ohio State at LSU

This is The 9/26/1987 Ohio State at LSU Game. Both teams came in with high hopes for the season and neither left totally disappointed as they forged a 13-13 tie. LSU would complete one of its most sucessful seasons of the 80's at 10-1-1. Ohio State would slide to 6-4-1 and late in the season it cost OSU coach Earle Bruce his job. This was a fun game to watch. Earle wouldn't let his players out of the locker room because Big Ten Policy dictated that the home team had to come out first. After that the game was pretty tense throughout. I claim no rights.

At the time it seemed like a relief Ohio State didn't lose this one with a tie instead. Still the Buckeyes' offense was painful 😒 to watch in Earle Bruce's final season. Disaster came 2 weeks later against Indiana

Not sure what the rule was then but nowadays if there is a dispute the home team has to come out first. It’s actually a rule in the NCAA rule book
