@NitroScream2345 Triodayz Yeah, kind of dumb since Terra in her own game is a well-rounded melee combatant who can wield Ultima Weapon, and that's before you get to how she's a demigod with a magic stat to match. Terra is pretty much the one FF6 character who would be a serious threat to Sephiroth; they're direct parallels of each other in their respective fictional worlds.

I must admire the fact that Terra managed to hold her own against Sephiroth, before Kuja came to their help that's why she is amazing and one of my favorite female protagonists among Final Fantasy
As for Kuja, I was surprised that he healed Zidane and came to Terra's rescue to think he changed
Kuja was never really fully committed to the path of the villain - he's the only main bad guy I can think of who relented on his deathbed
Too be honest, Dissidia seriously nerfed Terra in terms of power. If she had free access to her Awakened form, they'd be on even footing.
Kuja and Terra actually have an interesting parallel in their pasts so I could see him empathizing with her too!

Hello. I'm on the villains' side, but I'm good now.
I havent really played Final Fantasy yet, just watched some films and learning stuff on certain characters. But all these unique characters and their unique styles are amazing. The amount of creativity and storytelling is really inspiring right now.
Start with 6 and work your way to 10. Thats the full experience and you'll be caught up to the best the series has to offer.

He cuts through the Junon Cannon. It was only a simulated training fight, but in Advent Children he cuts through structures as well and even makes an entire building crumble with his powers.

turbotrup96 Maybe you're referring to KH1 Sora but not the Current one. Ventus & Roxas aren't small & Puny either & they the same physique as Sora, so no.
Sora Light They're very skinny which is noticeable on KH2 Sora.
The Voice Actors still retain their original roles, great fanservice.

Still, the fact that they've kept Sephiroth and Cloud the same since Advent Children, even across side games like Kingdom Hearts, is appreciated.
This scene gave me a whole new appreciation for Terra. She did awesome here! Not that I ever hated her, but it's nice to get an idea of what she is capable of in a fight.
FireHeart321 Yeah, I hate it when people say she's a weakling and that she can't beat villains alone. She's much stronger than they claim she is!
I blame part of that on her portrayal in the PSP titles. But NT showed a better part of her.
I guess for dissidia they chose to focus on her mage side since most good guys are sword users while bad guys have mostly magic users so they had to balance it out. Anyways FF6 Terra is a whole different beast her base human form stats are pretty decent and in esper form they all double. Once she becomes determined it is her mission to stop Kefka and protect the children/world it's a different ball game..
I didn't get very far into VI before my PSP started to wear out -- the buttons, anyway.
FireHeart321 my PSP joystick ended up giving up on me from all the Dissidia I played. Nearly every character was my main, I played so much I learned to use almost all lol
The voice work, amazing music (what is it?), and action really make this such a good scene! The villains absolutely feel like a huge threat

Exactly. Zidane while a cool character isn't OP until his in his trance state . Terra is a passive aggressive fighter that hates fighting in the first place until her trance state is reached. Sephiroth is a mass murdering psychopath and the emperor is the same to a large degree.
Keep in mind all the villians needed full parties to defeat them it was never just one person
Terra is actually very powerful because she can transform into full esper form , and espers are very powerful being
Zidane’s Thievery skills can easily hit 9999 damage if you steal during battles, though.
Zidane just gets MORE broken when he uses Trance because he has access to his Dyne Skills.
Also, that doesn’t quite hold logically. Zidane beat Kuja solo in Dissidia. If Kuja can weave the Emperor so casually and counterattack with such speed, then Zidane definitely can. This was literally just so Kuja could play Savior.
And I’m okay with that, because it goes back to when Zidane extended his hand in friendship after having bested Kuja in battle.
As for Terra…I can’t say much. It’s been a minute since I’ve touched VI, and I don’t remember everything outside of Espers basically being on Par with summons, if not stronger in some cases.

Also should be noted Sephiroth doesn't have any spoken dialogue outside of shouting attack names you can barely hear over the sound effects in KH1. Which is why everybody, even the official player's guide, thought he was saying "sin harvest" in the first game. And I still have no fucking clue what he's saying when he uses Super Nova. All I can hear is "blah blah blah the promiseland! Blah blah blah, become one!"

Kuja changed sides because he retained his memories from his home world and the other Dissidia games, and NT takes places after the events of FFIX, so Kuja is on good terms with Zidane and has found redemption.

So Kuja pulling a Golbez *ala wanting to help Cecil like in past Dissidia* or he just wants to kill Zidane himself?
clayisahottie even in the old dissidia, kuja has always been good. He's the one who freed terra from being controlled by kefka in duodecim.
Kuja, unlike most FF villains, never truly was evil (Quite similar to Golbez and somewhat like Sephiroth). He was manipulated, used by his creator Garland and made to believe that what he did was the just cause. Eventually when learning the truth, madness took over him but in the end he saves everyone when he realises his mistake. Dissidia plays on this, having him constantly switch sides, and usually ends up with him 'dying' while working with the Cosmos side.
Neither is Jecht
Jecht was never the villain, he was forced to fight you but in his eyes he was also testing you. Yu Yevon and Seymour were the villains in X. Jecht was chosen for Dissidia because he was easier for people to like, and Seymour would just play like most of the other villains, being a Mage, and Yu Yevon was pretty useless without his Sin armour. Also Jecht of course did have a rivalry with his son, but he was never a villain.
Zidane and Kuja reconciled by the end of IX. Dissidia is set some time after their games, so Kuja has already seen the light at this point.
Is FF9's Gnomes has something to do with FF6's Espers? They even shared the trance mode.
Final Fantasy IX was made as a homage to all previous FF released before it. So, Zidane and Kuja entering Trance like Terra did is a nod and tribute to FFVI. But otherwise, they're entirely separate: Terra is a half esper, half human being born naturally, while Zidane and Kuja are artificially created Genomes. The fact that all three enter Trance in this cutscene is just a little fan service, but no more.

I kinda always felt an endgame FFVI Terra, at full Trance, would pretty much wreck Sephiroth. I know Dissidia wants to sort of specialize characters in certain things for variety's sake, so they emphasize Terra's magic a lot more than her physical abilities, but she's unquestionably one of if not *the* strongest character in the game with excellent stats all around.
Problem with that is: Sephiroth excels at both physical and magical aptitude, especially post-Lifestream

That's not really a reliable gauge of Sephiroth's power level against Terra's though, especially when comparing him to other godlike beings in the franchise, including Kefka. I mean, Sephiroth's Supernova is super flashy but doesn't even instantly kill while Kefka's Light of Judgement is a simple laser and it kills you in one hit.
I guess it doesn't matter because gameplay logic dictates Tifa can solo Sephiroth with a few Reraises.
@@VladyO Kefka's attack doesn't even kill any of the party members or anyone really important for that matter. Plus he doesn't bother using it in the actual final fight
Sephiroth's Lifestream exposure exposed him to the full spectrum of magic on the planet and by the time of Remake, he can cast Meteor without the Black Materia

I was talking more in general, both gameplay and story, and the context regarding their original games (not FFVII Remake or Advent Children).
Kefka absolutely does cast Light of Judgement during the final fight of FFVI (it's rare but it happens) and it doesn't canonically kill anyone in the story because, well, Game Overs aren't canon and Reraise exists.

Before commenting you should play or at least inform yourself about Final Fantasy VI before saying that Terra has no hope against Sephiroth (both physically and magically).
I did and while she's powerful, she's not a match for him.
@@2002virus Not a match perhaps in her human form, but in her Esper form, she does stand a chance - better than most, at least. Then again, the Dissidia version of Terra is surprisingly...weak-willed. I'm just glad she managed to have some development here compared to how she was in Duodecim/Dissidia.
@@kenjinpiniteu shes always been passive aggressive. Her esper form just Grant's her more primal aggression. She not a fighter but was forced to through her originally being a powerful esper. She hates fighting.
@@darealliljable True, though I didn't mean she was intense and a big determinator, even in 6. Just that in the Dissidia games, the characters are a bit flanderized to some extent. I mean, we all know Cloud went through terrible stuff but when 7 ended, he was pretty optimistic - but the rest of the games and movies had him being this big woobie instead. Just felt like they did the same with Terra, considering how she was at the end of 6.
Kuja coming in Clutch to save Terra. Id like to believe this game takes place after the events of all the FF numeral games. Makes it fitting to see what happened to Kuja post FF9.

They should've let Terra have her green hair like on VI, never really was a fan of her blonde version. But she's still the cutest character on that game so far and VI is one of the best FF. I'm biased with VIII I admit.
Blonde hair is true to hair artwork and design concepts from VI. Which is what they're probably going off of. Her hair was only green on the sprite and the in game portrait to match.

MarxForever one other reason why Terra's hair is green is because she looks too similar to Celes if Terra's blonde.

In this Dissidia her hair seems it is green just not the FF6 green as oppose to her prior dissidia cutscenes were she was blonde. This definitely is not blonde more like a lime color..

If it was Emperor vs Zidane, Zidane would've died isntantly at the beginning. Terra vs Sephiroth? Dude, Terra is relaly strong and yet they nerfed her like hell in this game.
I always try to catch a glimpse of Kuja's tail. I swear there it Square didn't give him one. Only one for when he's in trance.
